Cutilisci In Catania

I went to Cutilisci for dinner a week ago. I wasn't expecting the food to be so good; it seemed like just another restaurant. Instead, I was truly impressed. I also got served so quickly, and the waiters were always helpful and attentive. I'll definitely be back, and I'll put it at the top of my list of recommendations.

The Flavor Dilemma Cutilisci's true strength is its ability to excel in everything it offers: • Pizza: Undoubtedly one of the best in the city. The long-leavened dough is light and digestible, with PDO ingredients that exude Sicilian flavor. • Fish: Seafood dishes are a celebration of freshness. From raw appetizers to generous first courses, you can taste the ingredients coming directly from the marina opposite. • Vegan and Gourmet Options: They also pay close attention to new tastes, with creative options that leave no room for regrets about the classics. ✨ The Atmosphere Eating on the terrace, with the scent of the sea air and the view of the colorful fishing boats, makes every dinner a special experience. The decor is refined, with an industrial-chic touch that perfectly complements the seaside atmosphere of the village. 🍷 Service and Hospitality The staff is dynamic, young, and always smiling, despite the restaurant often being very crowded (a sure sign of its quality). The value for money is absolutely fair, considering the prime location and the high-quality ingredients. Tip: Don't leave without trying one of their artisanal desserts or sipping a glass of Sicilian white wine while watching the sunset over the pier. Whether for a pizza with friends or a romantic dinner, Cutilisci never disappoints. A must-visit for anyone who wants to experience the true essence of Catania.

We discovered Cutilisci many years ago, and since then it's become our favorite place. It's never disappointed us, not even once. From breakfasts with granitas and brioches to relaxing lunches, every experience has always been impeccable. I'm a vegetarian, and here I always find varied, thoughtful, and never boring options. My wife often chooses fish and has always had a great time. Every dish, as well as the desserts, is prepared with care and love for quality. The staff is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and truly makes you feel at home. For us, it's more than just a place: it's a place of the soul, where we return whenever we want to feel good and treat ourselves to a moment of relaxation. Five full stars, well deserved ❤️

I've eaten at this restaurant more than once. I go for work, and it's always a go-to. Both the pizza and the fish are delicious.

A stunning little village where you can enjoy quality food in a quaint setting. You can dine in the little square, with its boats framing the sea from which the tables overlook. The dishes are meticulously prepared: from pizza to pasta, main courses, appetizers, and more. The portions aren't overly generous, except for the pizzas, which are gigantic. While the prices are reasonable for dinner (though moderately high), they're a bit pricey for aperitivo: a more appropriate format would certainly be more successful at that time! Otherwise, the service is attentive and the dishes are worth trying. I'd recommend changing the menu every two or three weeks to enjoy a greater diversity of their delicacies.

5 well-deserved stars and two "No"s - Three of us arrived without a reservation and were seated at a nice corner table overlooking the sea. The place was half full upon arrival but was full after half an hour. - The tables were a decent size but so unstable that they wobbled and spilled wine and water from the glasses. Tables were pre-set with paper napkins and cutlery in a large paper ring, a table setting perhaps more suited to a pizzeria, but which I found subpar for the restaurant's desired level. - The tables are well spaced at the back from the other tables; I noticed less space at the sides. The chairs are comfortable. - The place is clean. - On the table, a 2D barcode allows you to access the menu from your phone, where the dishes are clearly represented and described. The privacy policy is a bit too intrusive, requiring cookies without the option to choose; or rather, there is a choice, but it's limited to a single option. - We ordered three appetizers and three first courses. - The fried fish was excellent, perhaps one of the best I've ever had in Catania. I definitely recommend it for both quality and quantity. The panelle, on the other hand, lacked flavor, so much so that it was hard to believe they even contained chickpeas. The herb mayonnaise that accompanies them was excellent. - The first courses were high-quality; in my opinion, the homemade spaghetti, clams, and mussels stood out. The Fuorinorma was very good, but I wouldn't have it again, just as I wouldn't have the pasta alla catanese. Although both were excellent, I'd prefer to try something else. - We spent about €30 each, to be honest. - One guest was vaping, while the wait staff was indifferent, and that's not good.
