Indeed, you will be welcomed by friendly and helpful staff who will immediately make you feel at home. The scent of hot bread, desserts, pizza and baked specialties fills the air, while the quality of the raw materials and the passion for tradition give each baked product an unmistakable flavour. I recommend it!

13/04/2025: I went to this restaurant at lunchtime during the week. Good quality of products. Rushed service and no customer care or attention. As soon as I arrived I asked for a seat inside: I was told that there was no availability inside and they made me sit outside. It's a shame that after 10 minutes a couple who were looking for a seat inside, evidently without a reservation, were seated inside. And so 2 other couples! It was a slightly windy day and in fact, of all the tables outside, only two were occupied by two foreign couples. Eating outside on a windy day is not the best: the food gets cold before you even eat it. Furthermore, a fly ended up dead in my glass of white wine which they obviously changed, advising me, however, very professionally (so to speak!) to repair it with a paper napkin to hold in place with a slice of bread (evidently they don't even have a coaster to cover the glass and prevent the flies from falling on it). Ultimately, if you are not interested in the service, go ahead; otherwise I recommend the street food place "Scirocco" 20 meters away in the perpendicular street, where you spend less, the quality of the food is very good and the staff very friendly!

23/03/2025: Expectations for this restaurant were very high, given the numerous positive reviews, but they were, alas, totally disregarded, as the dinner did not go as we expected. What really went wrong? The service, slow beyond belief. I understand that the "slow life" of the South is also reflected in catering, but geological eras have passed to receive the menus, as many interminable moments to order, and last but not least, an infinity to receive our dishes. All of this without the slightest attention and attention to detail: a bottle of rosé prosecco served without the seau a glace (which we had to ask for while waving because no one paid attention to us, being in a more secluded area of ​​the restaurant), the bread basket remained empty without being refilled, and lastly, when I asked for cutlery to share a dessert, I was told that I could have used my friend's because "those are clean". Ah, and the truly forgettable food: all the dishes very similar to each other, most served with this artless mashed potatoes. Lack of bite, everything very bland, nothing that particularly impressed us. I think the idea is to deviate a little from the multitude of typical Catania trattorias/taverns, but it ends up being pretentiously "fancy" without having the basis to be so, saved only by minimal but quite elegant furnishings. Extremely disappointed.

20/02/2025: Wonderful experience in this intimate place. Not the classic place in the center of Catania (fortunately I would say). Cozy atmosphere and above all impeccable staff! The waiter was very nice and, seeing me pregnant, made a point of specifying the various ingredients on the menu (such as the presence of raw eggs even if pasteurised), then leaving the choice up to me. The aubergine pie and the pumpkin-filled ravioli are highly recommended! The desserts they produce are also excellent. We really appreciated both the attention to the customer (always with discretion) and the quality of the products. Everything really great! We will definitely come back to visit you!!!

11/03/2025: High quality products and great choice. It's just a shame that there is no possibility of sitting down to eat, even if this is normal for a pastry shop. Very kind girl at the counter and the tartlet with ricotta and wild strawberries was superb!

14/03/2025: Tutto terribile, hanno portato il nostro antipasto alle persone sedute accanto a noi (loro sono arrivati mezz'ora dopo di noi), per farla completa le loro pizze sono arrivate molto prima. Tra l'altro pizze imbarazzanti, 15 euro per una pizza piu sottile di una soletta per le scarpe. Non verrò mai più

Heavy traffic approx. 20:00, mainly suppliers and order collection by phone, customer "from the street" waits longer. The pizza is tasty and fresh, but the previous reviews are rather exaggerated.
