Ristorante Taiyò The Art of Sushi In Catania

Awesome place. On 2 floors. I arrived at 12.45 and it was already full... considering that it opens at 12.30! They made me sit on the 2nd floor, the third (the terrace) still closed even though it was 20 degrees. Against: - There are no cutlery at the table, which in other sushi there are, and I had to ask for it 3 times... when I told the (Italian) waitress that I had already asked for it 2 times, she was all pissed off ... she!! I had food at the table, but she was pissed off 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️😤😤 From that moment the dishes were slammed on the table... I'm waiting and they act offended!!! Okay!!! - I get to the cash register and they wanted to make me pay x 2... I told them I was alone, thank goodness I didn't keep quiet. On the other hand, he cheated me of €2: he made me pay as if it were Saturday for lunch (€18.90), but instead it was Valentine's Day, Wednesday 02/14/24 for lunch, so it must have been €16.90, you can clearly see it from the receipt . Pros: - fresh and good food - sea View I didn't see the bathrooms.

Good for being all you can eat, but nothing special

It's one of my favorite places for quality of food service and overall atmosphere

I ate very well, really clean and very helpful with everything, they served us quickly. And finally they also gave us the needs of good luck without having asked for them, to appreciate. (because other places either don't give them, or charge for them) I also tasted the good sorbet

I hadn't been there in a long time and remembered it being average. Last time (about 2 weeks ago) however it seemed very good. Everything we ordered was good and tasty. Quick service, even if during the week they tend to close "early" in the evening so everything tends to be done in a hurry.

Bel posto, cibo di qualità, personale gentile, però quando il locale è pieno la cucina va in palla e le ordinazioni tardano ad arrivare, ad un certo punto della serata abbiamo aspettato più di mezz'ora per ricevere un'ordinazione. Un'altra pecca, mentre mangi, a fine serata, spruzzano lo sgrassatore sui tavoli vicini che emana un odore terribile, quando ti portano il cibo te lo lanciano li sul tavolo senza professionalità e quando sistemano le stoviglie le sbattono generando un rumore fastidioso .. voto 7 meno meno.... peccato.!!!

Era molto tempo che non andavo a mangiare il sushi al Taiyo e devo dire che abbiamo mangiato davvero bene. Pesce freschissimo e il riso cotto al punto giusto.

Onestamente non ho mai creduto che i ristoranti “All you can eat” fossero davvero così buoni come invece si è verificato qui . Ci sono stato 5 volte in totale , di cui l’ultima a febbraio 2023 e non mi sono mai sentito male , cosa che non posso dire per altri ristoranti “all you can eat” in catania . Inoltre , so da fonti sicure, che la frutta e verdura di questo ristorante vengono acquistati da Metro a Misterbianco, almeno questa per me è una garanzia di qualità . Unica pecca è la Caposala cinese, credo , che in base a come si alza la mattina tratta i clienti .
