12/04/2026: An unforgettable experience! I ate the best pizza of my life here. Besides the excellent food, the hospitality was incredible. The owners were lovely to my wife and daughter Lia. Despite my broken Italian, they were incredibly kind and patient. This exchange touched my heart and made me feel closer to my Sicilian roots. A huge thank you for this moment of authenticity. I will definitely be back!

The cuisine offers traditional dishes, with a few subtle and successful reinterpretations, without needing to emphasize "local" ingredients to justify the prices, which are instead consistent with the quality offered. The atmosphere is rustic, Sicilian, between the 19th and 20th centuries, welcoming, and the service is excellent. The presence of several vegetarian options is appreciated—which would be helpful to indicate on the menu with a small "V"—and gluten-free dishes, available via a dedicated menu.

11/01/2026: I don't recommend it, especially on Saturday nights. It's unacceptable that despite a 9:00 PM reservation for two, we were given a table at 9:45 PM. I understand the large crowds, but reservations shouldn't be accepted like this. Add to that another 45-minute wait for the pizzas to arrive. Despite this, the pizza was good and the waiters were very helpful.

15/02/2026: Their Nutella ice cream is amazing! Please note that they are temporarily closed due to renovations the city is doing on the avenue where they are located. A real shame. We hope they reopen soon.

12/04/2026: I had the pleasure of visiting the brewery during a brief stop in Nicosia. It's more than just a brewery, it's a beautiful story that begins with the passion of two young Sicilians who chose to stay in their homeland! I was welcomed by their mother, who told us about their passion and commitment to this business, but above all, their desire to look to the future through research and product quality. I truly admire the fact that they've chosen to produce gluten-free beers and that they're working to offer other varieties for us poor celiacs, who are always forgotten by everyone. Buying their products and helping this business grow is a gift we give, above all, to our homeland. Go visit this beautiful business; I highly recommend it.

17/12/2025: At 24 Baroni, Maria welcomed us with a huge smile (even though her son had forgotten to tell her we were coming!), explaining the choice her team made to showcase their local area and their culture. But let's get to the beers: we tried the pale ale and the lager. Both excellent. Really, really appreciated. Even the chat with the lady, even though it was lunchtime, thank you so much. We've already ordered to savor a bit of warm Sicily in the foggy Romagna.

23/11/2025: Today Giorgio really put me on edge...CANNOLI OR SFINCIA...?!?!? Today my wife and I returned to Piana with the intention of enjoying Giorgio Clesceri's wonderful cannoli... As soon as we entered the simple and welcoming shop, after greeting Giorgio and his wife, I immediately and decisively asked Giorgio to fill a cannoli shell for me and... Just seeing, through the small window overlooking the shop's workshop, how much ricotta he was adding and how much was a real pleasure. In the meantime, my wife had been drawn to some SFINCIE and... realizing she was about to... betray... the cannoli to get the SFINCIA... I was shocked because once there, it's unacceptable for me not to enjoy the best cannoli I've ever eaten... we reached a compromise... We had it put on the menu and enjoyed it later. Well... after lunch, we opened the precious wrapping and cut that... ricotta hill in two... A SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!! The filling was soft and devoid of any fried aftertaste, and the ricotta, while superb as in the cannoli, was in industrial quantities inside and out... WHAT A TRAGEDY!!!!!!! NEXT TIME HOW WILL WE CHOOSE BETWEEN... SFINCIA AND CANNOLI???!!!!

25/10/2025: Small bakery in a tiny town but with great flavors and outstanding friendliness. Despite us not speaking Italian and the baker not speaking any English we communicated with friendly handgestures and smiles. Can highly recommend eating here. The drive through nature to town is worth it and so are the pastries

The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and the horses were gentle, well-cared for, and a pleasure to ride. 09/11/2025: We happened upon this place by chance, and were intrigued by its simplicity and the fresh food counter. We had grilled calamari and breaded prawns, excellent! They were available to take away, but we made do with it and ate them on the spot, along with a tasty first course, accompanied by kindness and friendliness.
