21/09/2025: We stumbled upon this trattoria, drawn by the area, on an August evening. The food did not disappoint: tasty, well-prepared dishes, especially the pizza. Unfortunately, however, the welcome didn't entirely live up to our expectations: we arrived about 45-50 minutes before closing (not knowing the exact time, and after asking if it was possible to have dinner and a table for two, which was confirmed). After a short wait, the supposed owner introduced himself with what I found to be an inappropriate attitude, ironically pointing out that "it was still early" to order. A joke that, instead of putting us at ease, made us feel out of place and almost superfluous. It's a shame, because overall we were satisfied with the food, but the overall experience was ruined by a welcome that didn't make us feel entirely welcome. I recommend the food, and especially the pizza, in any case.

29/09/2025: The food was not good. I ordered tuna, which was overcooked,served with marinated onions and red cabbage salad. The bread was stale. The wine was weak, the prices were not cheap. However, when I complained that the tuna was overcooked, they took it off from my bill. My husband ordered fried seafood, which was served with a fresh red cabbage salad. I don't think it goes well with seafood. I won't comment on this restaurant.

20/08/2025: A fantastic bar that we discovered by chance on our tour of Etna—but as we all know, there are no coincidences. The owner and the waitress were incredibly friendly, gave us excellent advice, and even let us sample their specialties before ordering! My cipollina was excellent, a crispy puff pastry with the characteristic filling, which is particularly good here at Mannik. The pastries with ragù and the sweet cornetti are also excellent, but the granita was simply divine—I've never tasted anything so delicious! We recommend everyone to stop here, because the experience is out of this world! 😋👌

23/10/2025: The table had a sticky plastic tablecloth instead, and the glasses weren't properly washed. That was the start. I asked for fried fish and got a cold appetizer platter with fish and squid rings. Nice, but hopefully the pizza is better. So it's more of a fast-food pizza place. Good wine! (€6 per glass)

20/09/2025: I went to Accussì for their pizza, and I ordered something off the menu. The service is top-notch, the pizza chefs are excellent, and for the first time, I didn't spend the night hooked on a bottle. I don't think there's anything else to add, and I especially don't want to give away too many spoilers. The location is very nice, both inside and out. I've read some of the reviews from other customers, which are mostly written on days when the places get crowded. If you want to try their pizza, I recommend going on a Friday or a weekday. It's crowded, but not too crowded! I recommend their nuggets! Amazing ☺️ Thanks, I'll definitely be back!

25/05/2025: We call on a Saturday evening to find out if there is availability for 9 people, the guy answers yes even if a little hesitantly, as if I were making fun of him. We easily found parking and sat down shortly after our arrival. I ask to be able to order for the children, the waiter says to send me his colleague who however arrives after at least 15 minutes. We order, we receive half of the drinks ordered and, as soon as some potatoes arrive, we ask for the other drinks, but this time too the waiter turns a deaf ear and heads towards other tables that, although they arrived after us, were served first. Absent waiters, halfway through the dinner they warn us of missing products ordered (products such as raw ham, to be clear!) and, having ordered badly, they bring us a dish we did not order (we ask for roast potatoes and they bring grilled meat, calling it roast!) Reading the reviews we expected 5-star cuisine which unfortunately was only an illusion; good baked sausage, decent pork shank... Pinsa undefined, rubbery and with mozzarella piled up. The worst thing, however, was the waiting staff, while we were at the cash register the two boys rejoiced that we had gotten up, too bad that once caught they imitated some phantom TIC, something like that in a place like that is unacceptable. Advise the lady to review the staff from scratch The only positive note of the evening, the 1lt glass bottle of Coca Cola!

14/10/2025: THIS IS NEXT LEVEL EATING!!!! Paola and her team are the BEST. I couldn't help myself & visited this place on a number of occasions including my birthday. They really made me feel special on that day and they speak great English. LOVED EATING AT THIS PLACE

10/10/2025: This is a funny place because it is a bit in the middle of nowhere. Giarre is not a fancy place and the hotel is on the edge of Giarre. However...the views of Etna and surroundings from the room were wonderful and the service was informal and welcoming (as well as efficient). Parking is on-site and free. Rooms were fine. The pool was big and innovatively put together (you have to go to understand) and the pool area is nicely done and surrounded by green. The food in the restaurant (we ate there 2 evenings) was outstanding. The dishes were explained as if we were in a Michelin-starred restaurant but without the stiffness. And they just looked and tasted Michelin level or higher. It's not like Ortigia or Taormina but if you want a bit more space and time to relax it's a pretty good option. Taormina is less than 30 minutes away if you want to spend time there. And I hope they keep the chef.

02/10/2025: My partner and I stayed one night at Ramo D'Aria. The property was recommended to us by a former colleague; however, our expectations were different. Below are the positive and negative points we found. Pros: • Friendliness of the staff: 5/5 • Variety and quality of the sweet and savory breakfast: 5/5 • Design and architecture, both internal and external: 4/5 Cons: • There were signs of damp in the bathroom. • There was only one wastebasket in the room, which was located exclusively in the bathroom. • Limescale in the shower tray. • I had read in reviews that the linens and towels were scented; however, the towels, once wet, smelled bad. • Personally, I don't like the brick shower tray; furthermore, the drain, positioned in the center, was inconvenient. • We were assigned a disabled-accessible room: this affected our comfort, with the toilet being higher than usual and the sink being lower. • Breakfast was excellent, but I wasn't expecting a €5 surcharge for pancakes. Points for improvement: • The pool could be used in winter if it were heated.

12/10/2025: I had been to this place a few years ago and I had a good time, last week I went and asked if it was possible to have a table at around 10.10pm, I was told that they were closing even though the closing time is 11pm, and the staff was just waiting

10/10/2025: After 24 hours of traveling we just happened to walk in and had a wonderful experience to kick off our trip. The food was great, the lemon sorbet was the best I’ve ever had. But what made Bistro 107 special was the service. Warm, friendly and a whole lot of fun!

25/09/2025: The food here was very creative and tasty. I had the "lasagna" which was layers of steak and vegetables with melted cheese on top and it was excellent. My wife had the gluten free pasta and that was also very good. One of the best meals we've had in our two weeks here in Sicily. Anil the waiter was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately there was hardly anyone there when we were there and the interior was a bit basic.

04/09/2025: An excellent experience. A modest menu reflects Chef Dedé's philosophy and research. The dishes are truly excellent, the wine list is well-curated, and the service is impeccable. We'll definitely be back to visit the Chef and try new dishes!
