I think that good intentions should be rewarded, which is why I rate this place positively, one of the very few vegan alternatives in the city. In any case, I struggle to tolerate the lack of sincerity in the face of the collaborator's statement "everything you see here, vegan, we make", when, in reality, the products come from the Forno D'Asolo in Treviso and are frozen... you can feel that they are, and there is nothing wrong with admitting it, I know very well that there is still little demand in the south. I've been vegan for a while, I live in the north, I travel and I know those croissants, as well as their fillings, some unmistakable (e.g. raspberry and elderberry, figs and almonds), precisely because that bakery distributes most of the bars everywhere in Italy. You can count on the fingers of one hand the pastry shops and bars that produce vegan desserts with their own hands, but you can definitely feel the difference. I feel like responding to the owner regarding a comment he made to a user who expressed doubts about the cost of his ice cream: in Milan, my city of origin and where I live, a small cup or cone with 2 flavors costs from 3, €50 to €4 (with ice cream inside, eh!), and personally I'm happy to spend it if the ice cream is good, even more so if it's vegan :) it's absolutely not true that the food here isn't as good as that of the south , fueling this rift that we have carried with us for too long... we are all citizens of a beautiful country. In my 'metropolis' there are amazing vegan ice cream shops, which make delicious artisanal ice cream and many different flavours, just as there are some in Catania too. There are pastry shops that use excellent raw materials to produce their own vegan croissants, while not offering frozen products and trying to be proactive. I hope this feedback can stimulate you to try producing your own croissants with the wonderful raw materials of your land.

Croissant was very delicious!! The staff was very good and kind.. The coffee also was tasty.. Good place for a fast brake!!

Nice welcoming coffee store! We walked in at 10am and asked for the well known Italian coffee and gelato but it turned out to be too early for gelato. The owners and the waitresses are so kind to offer them earlier so we don’t get disappointed. They are essentially delicious! Highly recommend!

Very good vegan breakfast, although they didn't have soy milk for the cappuccino. We returned in the afternoon for ice cream. I was expecting more vegan ice cream options, but unfortunately there were only fruit and dark chocolate ones.

The variety of drinks on offer was exceptional. From the classic Italian espresso to the selection of cocktails, there was something to please every taste and preference. Personally, I opted for a perfectly prepared cappuccino, while my friends tried some of the house cocktails, which turned out to be delicious and well-balanced.

Delicious ice cream, vegan options too

Dopo aver cercato per una giornata intera consigli su dove andare a mangiare un buon gelato a Messina, ci siamo imbattute in questo bar sul Viale San Martino. Accoglienza top, il proprietario un simpaticone, siamo entrati subito in sintonia, ci ha viziate e accontentate in ogni nostra richiesta nonostante la serata affollata. Vasta scelta di gelati, belli da vedere e ottimi da gustare, abbiamo preso una mega brioche strabordante da ogni lato e non contente abbiamo concluso la serata con una mega coppetta con piu gusti che sentimenti! Straconsigliato, grazie di cuore!

Abbiamo constatato che senza ombra di dubbio ,e per distacco, è la migliore gelateria di Messina (e non solo, aggiungerei). Prodotti ARTIGIANALI di altissima qualità, gustati con la compagnia del titolare e dei suoi dipendenti, di una simpatia unica. Consiglio vivamente!
