Very rich and abundant food. Excellent treatment and service. There is a good quality price relation.

Dishes very well cooked, well presented and with good quantity. Very friendly and attentive room staff. Good value for money compared to other menus I saw in other restaurants in the surrounding area.

What a great place, and what a surprise! In an evening where everything else in town was closed we found this little "Locanda" in an hallway, hidden from the main street and we decided to go in! And what a good idea that was, the place is full of a good vibe. We have been greeted by a hostess that seemed very experienced (we found out later that she is running the place with her husband for a good part of the last 30 years) Food was very good, with both choices of Restaurant and Pizza we opted for Pizza and that was excellent! There were not many people in and so the hostess established a good relation with all the guests including us of course! Everyone was very friendly and always checking on us in a nice an non invasive way! Also the deserts was of local choice and of a very good taste! Recommend by us and will definitely be back!

Good variety of dishes offered. The former are tasty and the latter are worthy of mention. Excellent quality-price relation.

My wife and I had lunch here on a day at the end of January, when almost all the other restaurants in Castelbuono were closed. And the experience was very pleasant, both for the food and for the long chat with the owner, who surprised us with the story of her son who studies nuclear engineering in Texas! We ate a homemade appetizer, homemade macaroni with filleted meat ragout, roast suckling pig with baked potatoes. We didn't have any more room for dessert, but we plan to come back and try the homemade desserts too :-) Very pleasant atmosphere (of course, in January there is no crowd, but the place is really welcoming), the dishes were described to us in great detail by the owner (who is clearly evident that she loves what she does), the bill it was more than fair for what we ate. We are sure that in the future we will have the opportunity to return to try some of the other delights of the house. In the meantime, thanks for everything!

Mia moglie ed io abbiamo pranzato qui in una giornata di fine gennaio, quando a Castelbuono quasi tutti i ristoranti erano chiusi. E l'esperienza è stata sicuramente piacevolissima, sia per il cibo, sia per la lunga chiacchierata con la proprietaria, che ci ha sorpreso con il racconto del figlio che studia ingegneria nucleare in Texas! Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto della casa, dei maccheroni fatti in casa con ragù di carne sfilettata, maialetto arrosto con patate al forno. Per il dessert non avevamo più spazio, ma ci ripromettiamo di tornare a provare anche i dolci della casa :-) Atmosfera molto gradevole (certo, a gennaio non c'è affollamento, ma il locale è veramente accogliente), i piatti ci sono stati descritti con dovizia di particolari dalla proprietaria (che è evidente a mille miglia che ama quello che fa), il conto è stato più che onesto per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Siamo sicuri che in futuro avremo occasione di tornare a provare qualche altra delizia della casa. Per intanto grazie di tutto!

Hospitality reigns supreme, together with courtesy and kindness and last but not least, the quality of the food, the flavours, the colors are equally integrative elements of the dishes.

Massima attenzione al cliente. Appena siamo arrivati, si sono attivati subito per preparare la pasta per nostra figlia di 4 anni. Il nostro pranzo è stato eccellente: dagli antipasti, al primo e al secondo. Le tagliatelle ai funghi eccezionali. E lo stinco di maiale superlativo. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Un plauso alla padrona di casa che è stata gentile e attenta con noi.
