Mamma Rosa In Partinico

Dining at Mamma Rosa’s was like eating at my own mother’s home! We shared an appetizer plate called Rustico that contained Sicilian specialities such as mini pannelle, mini arangini, caponata, sun dried tomatoes stuffed and fried, etc. I had Pasta con le Sarde — outstanding! My American husband loved his dish of Mamma Rosa’s special pasta dish which had little chunks of sausage in it. A side of creamy and buttery spinach was a perfect side dish. Don’t miss eating here.

Saturday lunch during a trip around Palermo. The location is not the best, it is located behind the station which I believe is disused, but the restaurant is very nice. Even though it was a weekday I noticed adequate staff and everyone was very courteous and kind. We ate very well with mostly local food and generous portions. The bill was honest.

Wonderful experience in this pizza restaurant in Partinico. First of all I underline the beauty of the restaurant, with attention to the smallest details, truly very beautiful. The waiters were very helpful and polite, the quality of the raw materials was excellent. I will definitely go back, I recommend it.

Family lunch in a restaurant that offers both meat and fish dishes, to satisfy all tastes! The restaurant can be reached easily and quickly from Palermo, it is about 5 minutes from the motorway exit for Partinico. The structure is very beautiful and having lunch in a room with very high ceilings, wooden beams and stone walls is certainly pleasant. We ordered rustic appetizers (with caponata, ricotta, sweet and sour pumpkin, salami, stuffed dried tomatoes, caciocavallo) and hot appetizers with some really delicious panelle. All served with hot bread (and addictive, even according to the staff in the room). Afterwards, everyone ordered meat and fish dishes from the menu; honestly the land dishes and the quality of the meat were disappointing compared to the fresh and tasty fish. Excellent cuisine and generous portions at a good price: per person we spent €24 also ordering a couple of desserts, coffee, wine and drinks.

CONGRATULATIONS REALLY!.. before visiting Borgo Parrini we wanted to have lunch somewhere nearby, I went online and found you (5 minutes away)! We came for lunch and you left us speechless 😍 My children were happy to have had the lasagna pie 🔝 and the pappardelle with ragù, not to mention the first one with lobster 🦞 spectacular! Congratulations also for the service! I will come to visit you with great pleasure! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We spent 9 days in Sicily in Palermo, Cefalù, Trapani, and Agrigento. When we left Agrigento we drove through San Giuseppe Jato on our way back to the Palermo airport. We had looked at the reviews for Momma Rosa and they were great so decided we would eat a late lunch. Lunch hous end at 3:30pm. We arrived to a location which appeared to be in the middle of nowhere in an industrial area of Partinico. As soon as we pulled in front, a young man who appeared to be homeless started chasing our car down and shouting that we needed to pay him to watch our car while we went inside to eat. It was very off-putting and we went inside to inquire at the hostess stand asking if we had to pay him. They assured us our car would be safe and that he was harmless and we did not need to pay him. The meal was delicious. The place was full of business people and wait staff dressed well. We had pasta with ragu, spaghetti trapanese, and weinetschnitzel. Everything was freshly prepared to order and served hot. What a great place! This was our best meal of our 9-day trip.
