25/08/2025: Busy, delicious granita. The pasta was mediocre. The price/performance ratio was okay. All in all, you can have lunch here.

09/09/2025: The prices online are much lower than those on the menu, and the food is tasteless. This is the first restaurant where I've eaten truly badly here in Ortigia. Not recommended.

28/07/2025: Yes, the food is good, the location is top notch, but the service is disappointing, sometimes rude. Prices are rising significantly over time compared to what they used to be. It now costs 40 euros to eat two sandwiches and a Coke.

11/05/2025: I highly recommend this place, I was in Palermo, very kind staff and owner, excellent fish dishes but not only, very good pizza, fair quality/price ratio... it will be a pleasure to return.

14/07/2025: This bar also sells tickets for the Giamporcaro line. Today, there's a stop-and-go public transport strike. Many of us were waiting for the 11:00 bus, which didn't arrive. I went to ask if the 1:00 bus would arrive. The owner dismissed me brusquely, saying that the 11:00 bus had arrived because he'd sold 30 tickets that morning. If it hadn't, he'd have 30 people complaining, but instead, I was the only one. What can you say to someone who concocts such illogical sophistries?

14/07/2025: Este bar vende billetes para una línea de autobús. Hoy, hay una parada y una huelga de transporte público. Muchos de nosotros esperábamos a los 11 : 00 am autobús, que no llegó. Fui a preguntar si el 1 : Llegaría autobús a las 00 pm. El dueño me despidió bruscamente, diciendo que el 11 : Había llegado el autobús porque había vendido 30 billetes esa mañana. Si el autobús no hubiera funcionado, tendría 30 personas quejándose, pero en cambio, yo era el único. ¿Qué puedes decirle a alguien que inventa sofisticaciones tan ilógicas?

11/06/2025: I personally had a terrible experience some time ago. The aperitif buffet was not enough for all the guests. The dinner was poor in portions and quality. The price was too high for what we ate. Very long waits between one dish and another. Last night there was a party for the high school graduates, including my daughter and it was another disappointment. The dinner buffet was not enough for all the kids.

21/08/2025: We ordered 8 pizzas at 7:30 pm asking for delivery at 9:30 pm, the pizzas arrived at 10:10 pm, abundant... heavy and rubbery pizzas, big disappointment.

16/03/2025: I think the worst experience I've ever had. From the table booked days and days before which once arrived was not yet ready to the cocktails which arrived up to TWO HOURS after ordering, not all together but one at a time. Extremely rude staff. Never again

10/07/2025: My experience at this bar was terrible. They're serving breakfast at a nearby tourist accommodation, and despite having informed me when I made the reservation and in the days prior that a gluten-free breakfast would be required, they didn't specify that it wouldn't be possible, nor did they give me anything at all to eat. At Bar Ambasciatori, they only offered me a coffee and a glass of water each of the three days we stayed. On one occasion, they even told me that if I wanted another coffee, I'd have to pay for it, but I didn't get anything to eat. I went hungry the first two days, and on the third, I brought food I bought at Lidl myself. The accommodation tried to talk to the bar, but the result was the same. I ended up paying double, for the supermarket shopping and for a nonexistent breakfast. A very bad experience with the bar and the waiter who served us the three days.

16/08/2025: We had a seafood salad and some rice. The seafood salad was good, but the risotto was dry and I almost threw up at the end.

08/08/2025: The people working here were rude and not nice, it took 35 minutes when there were 2 of us in the whole restaurant and the old man working there was completely pathetic and when I had some left that I wanted to eat she just took the plate. The others got bread without asking but not us we don't need to ask and they didn't have any pizza at all. Had to order a whole fried chicken and it didn't have enough so also had to order a pasta with it. And just the chicken cost 10 € without anything

26/08/2025: A truly beautiful place, with a stunning view of the square and the sea. The staff is friendly and fast. The gelato is excellent, but the salted pistachio one is something special: creamy, flavorful, and different from the usual. A place I'd gladly return to, especially to relax and enjoy something delicious with a beautiful view!

09/08/2025: Idyllic setting, but the welcome needs to be reviewed. It's a shame I don't want to stay despite the wonderful life... Unfriendly staff. Not happy that the coffee was very good 😊

03/05/2025: Veramente con grande disappunto, perché un locale dovrebbe rispondere al primo squillo mi dispiace tanto anche perché ci sono stata in passata e mi ero trovata bene quindi a questo punto devo dire che il servizio è pessimo il fatto che non si possa prenotare senza rischiare che poi magari si arriva fin là e non si trova posto
