06/07/2025: Cold cold cold air conditioning!!! Oh and the art is lovely. I really liked the 3 antique carriages and the many sarcophagi. We entered on Sunday morning so it was FREE! The palace has been restored but does not have any frescoes or furnishings. This was definitely worth our while to escape the heat and see some interesting religious art.

06/07/2025: We planned to visit the gallery, coming from far away. Unfortunately it was closed and the website did not indicate this closure. When we got there we read a sign attached to the door. Disappointment.

13/07/2025: Great experience at Galloway Messina! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Galloway Messina and was truly impressed! From the start, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The place is clean and well-kept, which makes the experience even more comfortable. But let's get to the food: the pizzeria is truly excellent! The pizzas are tasty and well-cooked. And I can't leave out the roosters, cooked to perfection, tender, and flavorful. Finally, the prices are reasonable, an excellent value for the quality offered. Highly recommended for a pleasant evening with good food and impeccable service!

06/07/2025: We tried the "special" pizzas, light dough and well-seasoned, also the high-level fried food. The service was fast and efficient. The desserts were also good, some of which were home-made.

07/08/2025: It appears to be a homey café with a chalkboard menu and friendly staff, a family atmosphere. Believing we'd found one of the few places on the island that isn't overly touristy, as it's mostly frequented by local workers, we ordered two rice salads (dressed with ready-made rice dressing), a portion of grilled chicken breast, and two coffees. Total: €50, without a receipt. To say we were surprised would be an understatement.

16/08/2025: It is not on a thoroughfare but is worth a detour. Excellent granitas, croissants, brioches and ricotta ravioli, but it also does rotisserie and cooks for quick lunches. All very good, very friendly staff.

04/08/2025: I do not recommend... it was a struggle to order, slow staff and a bit of a I-don't-care attitude... no prices on drinks and the feeling of being annoyed when you ask for prices... too bad I can't give a zero rating.

29/07/2025: It was our first time dining at this intimate and charming restaurant, and we were completely satisfied. The food was good, the service was good, and the staff was attentive, courteous, and knowledgeable. Raffaele, a kind, proactive, and very friendly man, looked after us personally. We'll gladly return and highly recommend it. The hosts' hospitality is truly remarkable. Thank you for the evening.

26/07/2025: Clean rooms. Courteous and helpful staff. Breathtaking views. I highly recommend the sea-view rooms. Large and well-equipped pools. Breakfast could be improved, especially the savory options.

23/07/2025: Positive points: - Sea view from the port side. - Spacious, clean room. - Close to the castle for sightseeing. Cons: - Breakfast is adequate but not great; it's a shame to have to pay extra for scrambled or fried eggs. - Staff is friendly every other day and average every other day. We didn't try the restaurant. - If you don't have a car: the journey to the port is quite long (45-minute walk), and there's no public transportation; taxis cost €20.

26/06/2025: I fell in love, very varied and well prepared menu!! Zero kilometer food

10/06/2025: They lost us as customers after we were asked to leave even though we hadn't finished our dinner, because they had other tables to seat. According to them we could have finished eating and then had our beers outside. Obviously never returned. Too bad because the sandwiches are really good!

15/08/2025: Everything was good, from the starters to the main courses and side dishes. One flaw: for ready-made meals, a 15% service charge at the end of the bill in Catania is way too much, especially considering you're already paying for the cover charge. If I'd looked at the receipt first, I definitely would have done or said something.

12/06/2025: What can I say about the best canteen in Catania? In a few words, this is not a simple canteen, when I go to the muve I feel welcomed as if I were returning home from a tiring day of work. The staff is not friendly, MORE!! At the MUVE canteen we are a big family and even if it's been just over a year I already feel like I'm part of it too. The exceptional food is incomparable with other canteens, it feels like eating at home. Thank you for everything you do for us ❤️

MUVE, in fact, is much more than a canteen: it is a place where you can breathe the air of home and, above all, the smell of excellent food. 26/07/2025: I'm in Scicli at this restaurant and I have to admit that the quality/price ratio is truly excellent. I must thank the waitress Stefania, who never showed any bad behavior, even when I did everything I could to annoy her. Thanks go to the chef Gianna, who was very willing to make a change to a gnocchi dish, which she kindly replaced with rice. WELL DONE, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

13/07/2025: While visiting Scicli and the well-known locations of the legendary Montalbano series, we stumbled upon a restaurant located right in front of his office (Montalbano's, I mean) inside the town hall. Given the time, our hunger, and above all the truly excellent prices, we decided to eat there. What can I say...it was delicious: fresh fish cooked to perfection, filling, plus side dishes and fresh salads. And to finish, delicious cannoli and lemon jelly. 😋😋😋 In short, we were completely satisfied. We highly recommend it to everyone.

06/08/2025: Grande terrasse extérieure et belle salle intérieur… Côté cuisine, une belle part aux poissons, cuits et crus… Moules en différentes assaisonnement… Une grande carte de Pizza… Malheureusement, le résultat reste moyen avec un service expéditif et pas vraiment concentré. Dommage.
