A little gem worth seeing.
The artworks are beautifully displayed, which really brings out their full potential.
Antonello da Messina (whom I wasn't familiar with) truly captivated me. One of his works is in the Louvre; I'll go see it and find others.
If you're looking for the Caravaggio, it's now in the church of Santa Lucia al Sepolcro, its original home.
Please note: check the opening hours; currently, it's only open in the morning until 12:30 PM, except on Wednesdays when it's open in the afternoon.

Antonello da Messina towers above all the rest, but it's a shame it's in such poor condition. I couldn't tell from the panels what great calamities it endured; it would be interesting...between the missing parts and the copious replacements, very little remains. The Angel's nose was badly restored; perhaps such a fundamental detail could have been given more consideration.
Instead, the palace was greatly restored, the atmosphere intimate, and there was time to observe some interesting details.
