PS: When serving drinks, it would be good manners to also provide a napkin or leave them on the tables. Which wasn't the case with any of the customers. Not a single smile at the cash register, nor did the waiter "boss." It's a shame. Now don't answer, "Why did you say everything was fine?" Certain things have to be innate to do certain jobs.

At first glance, the place seems small, but the very gracious owner invited us upstairs, where there's a spacious room with a balcony and many tables. The menu offers a wide selection of pizzas—both classic and more original creations. We tried several, and all were very tasty: great dough, good ingredients, and a true Sicilian atmosphere. The menu also includes salads and wine, and for beer lovers, the Paulaner is a big plus. We were there on a Saturday around 7:00 PM, and within half an hour, the restaurant was filled with Italian families, which clearly demonstrates that it's a favorite spot for locals. We were also pleasantly surprised by the very low bill—significantly lower than most places we visited during our week-long trip to Sicily. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, local atmosphere and excellent pizza in Cinisi. 11/05/2026: Definitely the best pizza we've ever eaten. The dough is so thin it's almost nonexistent. The taste made us go back a second time and tried other dishes – definitely worth it. The staff was smiling and multilingual. A fantastic place. We've been to several places in Cinisi, but this is our "one."

14/06/2026: We had an amazing stay, and dinner at Shalai. We upgraded to the Junior Suite with terrace, and the room was really perfect. The ceiling just wow! The staff all really helpful and friendly. And for dinner we had the “Leggende di Terre” (meat tasting menu) with wine pairing which was fabulous & a really amazing experience.

10/06/2026: Superb hotel. Really lovely, historic, and comfortable. The reception staff were very attentive and spoke French. Good breakfast with a varied menu. Pretty white tablecloths. Refined dinner available on site.
