20/07/2025: We ate pizza here last night, recommended by B&B Tramonti d'Alba. A delightful discovery, delicious pizza, thin yet crispy. Friendly staff, and a lovely terrace area.

18/07/2025: Fantastic place. It's even more beautiful if you go at sunset. The walk is special... be careful, the kiosk at the start of the walk charged me 5 euros for a can of iced tea.

20/07/2025: I was truly impressed by the quality and care with which each dish is prepared. The fish is incredibly fresh, expertly cut, and served with impeccable presentation. I tried various uramaki, nigiri, and tartare: each one better than the last! The staff is friendly, attentive, and ready to offer advice, even to those new to Japanese cuisine. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, perfect for a romantic dinner or an evening with friends. A true gem for sushi lovers—I'll definitely be back!

31/07/2025: Excellent welcome. Delicious, well-cooked food. The staff were extremely kind and clear in their dinner suggestions. I had the fish cascade. Excellent, well-cooked, plentiful, and the wine recommended by the staff was excellent. Good price.

29/07/2025: Welcoming guests in a simple, welcoming, clean, and bright environment, Carmelo was courteous and friendly. Highly recommended, we enjoyed excellent fish appetizers, prepared with care and skill. Excellent value for money. Keep up the good work, maybe one day I'll be able to give you a sixth star.

20/04/2025: Second consecutive year that we go here at Easter. I'll start by saying that I had a good time especially the previous year, this year I'm bringing other friends and relatives with me, I inform them that we are a large table between adults and children and they move us to the other room, which in my opinion is beautiful, unfortunately I'm disappointed that this "table" is divided mainly for their needs. This was not communicated to me in the booking and I found it to be a very bad mix-up, splitting a group but never mind. Everything else was beautiful as always, little tip: the menu was identical to the previous year, change a little 😊.

17/05/2025: Suggestive place located in front on the left of the famous basilica of San Giovanni the patron saint of Vittoria, in the historic center, well furnished with a certain atmosphere, really good pizzas of high quality with a wide choice, the restaurant I saw the dishes really beautiful puatti, ideal for an important event or even for an evening with friends where you want to make a good impression.

06/08/2025: We went for dinner for pizza. Nothing special. Everything was standard fare for a regular pizzeria.

15/07/2025: Pizzeria Carmen, serving pizza since 1961. casual setting. The dough is light and the toppings are fresh and generously portioned. Service was very slow. It took 60m for the pizza to arrive!!

21/07/2025: During my short stay on the island of Sicily, I had the opportunity to dine in several places, and I can say that this spot on the island of Ortigia was the best. I was impressed by how getting away from the touristy places always proves me right. The gnocchi were a 10/10! I will definitely return.

25/04/2025: Old school vibe. Had assorted fried fish and shellfish, a massive plate of Pasta Alla Norma, swordfish past, and local dry white wine— so good! Papa Lardo runs the place and is very friendly.

19/07/2025: Locale pulito e dotato di impianto di condizionamento rinfrescante ma non invadente (cosa più che gradita col clima di Palermo in estate, non proprio tutti ce l’hanno) Piatti in ceramica tipici siciliani arredamento semplice ed elegante. Il cibo qua é ottimo ed i prezzi sono modici, se prendete la pasta attenzione sono 200 g di piatto! Ottima! Ma molto abbondante. Abbiamo preso 4 antipasti tutti da 10 e lode buonissimi. Caponata e parmigiana d’obbligo! Ma anche primo sale con acciughe e sarde a beccafico erano eseguiti a regola d’arte. I secondi: calamaro alla griglia senza infamia né lode, fritto misto buono. Il servizio, in particolare il ragazzo che ha servito noi é stata l’unica nota dolente, sembrava essere lì per caso girava per la sala con fare svogliato e non esaudiva nessuna delle richieste che gli abbiamo fatto, ne ci ha voluto prendere l’ordinazione ( ‘arriva la ragazza’ ma intanto non chiama nessuna ragazza e sono passati 20 minuti) ne ha notato che mancasse un coltello ne alla nostra richiesta ce lo porta. Abbiamo dovuto chiederlo 3 volte. A parte il servizio da migliorare rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo, antipasti in media 5 euro e primi in media 8 euro per dei piatti della tradizione eseguiti molto bene. Da tornarci!

16/07/2025: 40’ di attesa e ci sta non avendo prenotato, ma quando si è liberato il tavolo per noi 4 (io, mia moglie e due ragazzi di 15 e 12 anni) la “signora” proprietaria ha deciso, tra lo stupore anche delle sue dipendenti, di assegnare il tavolo all’amica appena arrivata. A quel punto l’ho salutata, andando via, ma lei, probabilmente con la coda di paglia, ha continuato ad inveire dalla porta del suo locale, blaterando ad alta voce di vecchie prenotazioni, educazione e comportamenti scorretti, proprio lei, maestra di stile nel mangiare in faccia ai clienti che aspettano senza nemmeno rispondere al telefono. Classica sceneggiata palermitana, forse. Si mangerà anche bene (e lo abbiamo provato qualche anno fa), ma in quanto ad educazione ed accoglienza è da 0 punti. Meglio una delle seicento trattorie meno quotate, ma con personale gentile ed amichevole
