14/07/2025: It's a lovely family-run restaurant where you can eat good seafood. Its strong point is definitely the fact that it's not mass-produced food, given the limited seating capacity. This makes everything truly excellent. We shared a seafood appetizer, which was plenty for both of us. Next, the linguine with scampi was a delicious dish, but I felt like something was missing. I asked for red chili pepper, but they didn't have it. Too bad. Recommended

12/01/2025: Il posto è bellissimo, il camino che scalda la sala, tutto così meraviglioso. La signora Cinzia è una persona meravigliosa, gentile, accogliente attenta a tutto. Ci ha serviti e coccolati dal primo istante in cui siamo arrivati fino alla fine. Piatti tutti caserecci e fatti freschi, super abbondanti e super buoni. Siamo rimasti soddisfatti al 100% torneremo sicuramente e consigliamo assolutamente questo ristorante per chi vuole sentirsi a casa, mangiando bene.

29/06/2025: Il cortile è una chicca, un luogo intimo e accogliente nel cuore di Ortigia. Il percorso di mare che abbiamo scelto ha soddisfatto il nostro palato, regalandoci un’esperienza piacevolissima. Personale attento e sempre presente, il sommelier ci ha coccolato con uno champagne ad inizio pasto e suggerito un ottimo vino per accompagnare la cena. 1 stella davvero meritata .

29/06/2025: Very cute winery sitting atop the Etna, near Milo. The brief winery tour was a wonderful experience, followed by a seasonal tasting menu.

03/06/2025: We had a great experience and highly recommend a visit. We were given an extensive tour of the vineyards and the small bites that we expected for the wine tasting were essentially a full lunch and very delicious. The estate vineyards offer one of the best views on Etna and the wines are incredible.

07/08/2025: Our favorite place! Giancarlo Barone won us over the first time, and has been a weekly regular ever since. The relaxing atmosphere, overlooking the sea near Aci Castello, makes every meal special. The menu offers a wide selection: the pizzas are delicious, but the meat and fish dishes are always top-notch. We absolutely recommend the mixed appetizers: they're varied, plentiful, and truly well-prepared. The owner is a wonderful person, always attentive to his customers, and the waiters are extremely kind. A special thanks to Carmelo, always professional and helpful. A restaurant that truly puts quality and customer service first. Highly recommended!

05/08/2025: I have been here 4 times over the months and I have to say I was never disappointed… The caponata is one of the best I’ve tried in the area and the service is simple but very efficient and welcoming. If there is any comment to say I would say that they could add a couple more of vegetarian option and add some rotation of the menu. But to be fair, rather have a few but good options rather than many and not so well done! Good job guys 🧚🏽‍♀️

19/07/2025: We were at this restaurant yesterday, the second shift, and I don't recommend the fixed fish menu. 1. The appetizer was poor and flavorless. 2. The first courses, mainly the seafood risotto, were watery and in some parts almost tasted plain. 3. The second courses, the fried fish and mussels were good. The calamari with its sauce was COLD and tasteless. I don't know what went on in the kitchen, but I'd heard good things about it. If so, I strongly advise against it.

12/07/2025: U Palangaru, renowned and now famous in Portopalo. One of the busiest restaurants, for sure. The strong points are definitely the atmosphere, which I've always found very relaxing, and the Chef's appetizer: Una Bomba. The only flaw? The overpriced first and second courses. In Portopalo, I still haven't found a restaurant that stands out from the crowd. The usual first courses with cherry tomatoes, pistachios, shrimp, etc. No one ever stands out. I recommend trying something new, the potential is there. The combination menu idea is also nice.

19/07/2025: Highly recommended!! Welcoming place, kind and friendly staff. Excellent food; I recommend the crepes with Mazara del Vallo red shrimp and the "tonnara" crepes—everything is truly delicious. Also worth trying are the sweet crepes and crepe tagliatelle. I should emphasize that the restaurant does not offer takeout, only dine-in, to ensure the highest quality.

16/07/2025: I dropped the chinotto on my friend while pouring it into his glass because of the can which has an ugly shape but the cracks too much Nutella and the air conditioner is a fan that looks like an air conditioner The waiters made fun of me because I had taken the chinotto and I asked for an orange peel, the cracker scolded us because we said Stefano set up and females pass by once a year I will never go back there again
