We also ordered some steaks at the table... so tender! Absolutely worth trying!! Sorry, there are no photos... because we ate everything! 😂

10/07/2025: We dined at this restaurant several times during our stay in Porto San Paolo, and each time was a confirmation. The cuisine is truly excellent: we tried several seafood-based first courses, all exceptional, as was the fried fish, light and delicious. The portions are just right and well-balanced. The desserts are a real treat: the reinterpretation of the classic seadas in three versions is unmissable, and the brownie is also truly excellent. The service was impeccable: the staff was fast, attentive, and always courteous. A wonderful experience that we absolutely recommend!

18/07/2025: A unique location, a garden nestled in Sardinian stone, expertly maintained and enhanced. Set menu of typical Sardinian dishes with ingredients produced on the farm (all except bread, wine, and oil). Extremely friendly staff who welcome you and make you feel at home; a special mention goes to young Gioele, always attentive and thoughtful. Excellent value for money: €55 per person for everything we received—all excellent quality—definitely worth the trip!!!

14/07/2025: We were hesitant to confirm the reservation, since the Zabé farmhouse doesn't accept children. In the end, we decided to go anyway—and I can say I completely agree with the management's decision: it's not a place suitable for little ones, but that's precisely what contributes to the magical atmosphere. The food is plentiful, authentic, and delicious. Everything is very rustic, but exactly what we were looking for. And the suckling pig? Simply spectacular. I highly recommend this kid-free farmhouse for those seeking authenticity, tranquility, and great cuisine.

06/09/2025: Overall, this hotel is a lovely, peaceful place to unwind. The rooms consist of semi-detached "cottages" built into the hillside. Access is via a stepped path, making them immediately inaccessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. Breakfast is included, while lunch and dinner can be enjoyed à la carte or from a set menu, which is provided in writing at breakfast. A few caveats: one, as I mentioned earlier, is that the rooms (cottages) are generally quite noisy. Thirdly, the menu offered (via the breakfast menu) doesn't always meet expectations. For example, the salad is like antipasto, with chopped cabbage lacking in flavor. The same cabbage is used as a garnish/vegetable with a veal schnitzel. The price-quality/quantity ratio is not balanced, placing this hotel in the higher price range. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return, but perhaps for one or two nights.

18/08/2025: A resort hotel in a charming location, nestled among the mountains, overlooking the lake. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with the added bonus of being located on the mountainside. The pool is beautiful and sunny. The staff is 10/10. Breakfast is top-notch, although if you want something more specific or cooked, you have to pay extra. Dinner is quality in a peaceful atmosphere.

19/01/2025: Rustic and welcoming place, we stopped for an aperitif, excellent wines and a good platter of cold cuts and cheeses. Warm and relaxing atmosphere. Fair prices. I would gladly return.

21/08/2025: Tonight we had a really good pizza. As a Neapolitan, I'd say it's worth it. Francesco, the owner, is an exceptional person, and he offered us a delicious Mirto after dinner. I recommend it as a place where you eat well. I'll come visit you in Trentino.

25/08/2025: The place is not very clean. I found a dead fly on my fork and hairs in the soy sauce. The floor is covered in sushi and food residue. I paid €27 for lunch. The mochi was €5, exactly the kind in the boxes you get in stores like Mc Donald's and Eurospin. It's a complete scam. The smell is bad and the staff is unprofessional. It's a terrible experience that I'll never have again.

03/09/2025: Slow and inattentive service, tough pizza (difficult to cut with a normal knife), and no vegan options. We'll give a shout-out (though only from hearsay from my fellow diners) to the fish dishes. What a shame.

02/09/2025: Although the place is welcoming and even nice, we had a terrible overall experience. The service leaves much to be desired. At the table, we waited 15 minutes without a menu. The waiter didn't realize that 6 people still had to order. Slow and disorganized ordering. When we arrived, the dish was missing my order (Sardinian pasta with sausage ragù). The waiter asked me if anything was missing (terrible). The house wine was truly poor. The other diners had hard pizza dough and practically raw toppings. The spear for the fried fish and octopus salad was broken, which I have to say was okay. My first course arrived...although the portion was generous, it was completely tasteless. It was boiling hot, it seemed to have been reheated in the microwave, the sauce was watery, tasteless, acidic, it seemed like a ready-made sauce that had been reheated. Truly beyond comment. The dish was completely wrong. However, I would have forgiven the mistake if at least someone from the staff had politely apologized for the kitchen's mistakes at the cash register, expressing my disapproval. They had offered me a digestif or at least a gesture toward the customer...zero. The bill was split equally, even down to the cents... No. This is no way to work. I don't know where. These positive reviews are here, but in my opinion, everything needs to be redone. This place has potential.

07/07/2025: My partner and I went to this restaurant on the first night of our vacation. Poor food, waiters who can't be called such. We sat down at 10 pm and after an hour and a half the first course arrived. Pasta with mussels really inedible so much so that we sent it back to the kitchen. Really negative experience!!!

06/07/2025: I recommend this cafe with all my heart. I ordered grilled meat with vegetables and it was very tasty! I would like to separately note the friendliness of the staff. The food was prepared quickly. The waiter was friendly, helped to pack the leftovers to take away. The employee who took the payment was nice and friendly. She also asked where we were from and whether we liked Sardinia. The staff spoke English, which was a huge advantage!
