Su Cuile In Budoni

Dinner at Su Cuile was a great experience, both for the food and the hospitality. The calamari in olive sauce was truly excellent, very fresh, and the flavors beautifully combined. Among the first courses, the culurgiones with bottarga and pesto were interesting and well-balanced. The paccheri with ragù were also delicious. The pasta alla carlofortina was a wonderful discovery, with a bold and unusual flavor. Desserts were worthy: well-made crème brûlée, a smooth and very drinkable rum baba, and a pleasant but not heavy cheesecake. We finished with a myrtle liqueur. Special mention goes to the kind and very friendly owner: he let us dine even though he was practically closing after a late lunch service, managing everything himself in the kitchen. A gesture that makes all the difference.

The snails, tripe, and seadas were also excellent, and we had a great lunch accompanied by the house wine!

Very well-kept, warm and welcoming environment. We ordered appetizers and first courses and everything was really delicious. Mr. Angelo, the owner, is a very friendly and helpful person. TOP cuisine, service, and location!
