14/09/2025: Very kind staff, a round of applause

02/09/2025: This place does pack up fast and may be hard to find a seat closer to sunset. I’d recommend you get here as early as possible for that reason. We arrived an hour before sunset and 1st off, I’d like to add that the view was very unique and breathtaking. Secondly, we got a seat closer to the wall on the exterior and still the views were clearly in sight. I would also like to add, that there are staff who do speak English and understand it as well. This isn’t the case for most places so I wanted to throw that in there. Staff was very friendly and overall attentive. There is a parking garage nearby but if you are using Google maps or Apple Maps you may need to walk further than it shows on the map for some reason. If you can’t find the place just ask around the people are friendly. Drinks were of the highest quality and the snacks as well. This place was a home run for us!!

04/11/2025: The menu changes daily and features traditional Italian and Sardinian dishes. But be warned: here, Italian cuisine isn't trivialized, as is often the case, with the usual three or four touristy dishes. There's variety and rediscovery. Everything is served on plastic tablecloths, like those traditionally used to protect wooden tables, which perfectly captures the spirit of the place: authentic, unfussy, and genuine. The loyal clientele contributes to a lively, convivial, and authentic atmosphere. Recommended

21/09/2025: We stayed at the hotel next door and walked over for dinner. The staff was very friendly and when selecting catch of the day Chef Gusieppie came out and described each fish and how it was to be prepared. We also ordered the Mussels in Myrtle which were excellent! We selected the rockfish and was very pleased with it.

19/09/2025: I know that many people find it scandalous to have a dish served on a bathroom tile! But we're open-minded! The tile was a tile anyway! The girl from Turin was super nice, welcoming, and helpful. I don't think they'll have another season. The mussels were dried out; the appetizer was good, but if I'd tried harder, I could have had a better one on the beach. Then I chose the catch of the day, a scorpion fish that the girl from Turin kindly served us! It was good, and I'll tell you tomorrow if it was fresh! Anyway, one adult and two children (the eldest is 10) with a glass of wine, two appetizers, a pasta dish with tomato sauce, a fried mixed seafood dish, and a scorpion fish = €200. Fine if everything is perfect! But given the shortcomings we can find, I can't give more than 3 stars. If it weren't for the girl from Turin who served us, I'd give it 2 ⭐️⭐️

12/09/2025: A gentleman very politely showed me to a table under an olive tree facing the church. The meal was delicious. I had a delightful dinner.

10/09/2025: A wonderful pizzeria, with delicious, large pizzas that arrived quickly. Through a window, you can peek into the kitchen and watch the pizza being made.

18/10/2025: I walked to the pizzeria. Not being from Tempio, I didn't know if there was parking nearby, but it was worth it. Tempio's historic center is beautiful, and the pizzeria is small but well-maintained. The pizzas are truly special. The dough is like a cloud, the ingredients are high-quality, the combinations are original but very effective, and the broccoli rabe was excellent. We tried two specialty pizzas, both excellent. I'll be back.

16/10/2025: Discovered this place via the Rough Guide. Excellent pizzas, original recipes with truffle oil, burrata, porcini mushrooms... The rain prevented us from enjoying the sunny terrace, which seemed pleasant. The pizzas are affordable; for a bottle, plan on spending around €20. Friendly staff and fast service.

12/10/2025: A great hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. Staff are consistently courteous and excellent at their jobs. The parking lot is a few steps away and can be opened with the room card. We would definitely book there again. The only thing is that the €25 beach chair with a towel is a bit pricey.

05/09/2025: We sincerely thank the hotel staff in general, the front desk in particular, and Michela from the bar, always attentive and an excellent professional (not everyone knows how to make a gin fizz...) for their warm welcome. 14/09/2025: I had a great experience at Gusto Tondo. The owner was very helpful and passionate about explaining his local products. The quality of the food was excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed every dish. A truly positive culinary experience!

22/08/2025: Last night we ate at this pizzeria with a group of friends, ordering a variety of dishes, including pizza by the slice, various types of fainè, and mini panade. Everything was delicious and flavorful. Despite a large number of orders, both in-store and for takeout, the wait was moderate. The owners were incredibly kind. Congratulations!

05/09/2025: Opera Viva lets you discover the true flavors of the region. After a bad dining experience a few days earlier, we arrived with high expectations... and left completely satisfied. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was welcoming, although it was a bit too hot inside despite the ceiling fans. But the real stars were the dishes: generous, flavorful, and carefully prepared, a true delight for the palate. We recommend booking at least a day in advance to secure a table. The value for money is truly excellent.

Hopefully we will come back again in the future. Thanks! Edit: We returned to this restaurant after a few days for our last dinner in Porto Torres and it was the same experience as a first time. 29/09/2025: The rooms are shared for a hotel of this standing. The location seems a bit remote to me. But the service makes all the difference. Friendly, classy without being obsequious, caring, and very professional.

20/09/2025: I would give this 10 stars if I could! The hotel is incredible, the location is amazing, and to top it all off the staff are wonderful people. The value for your money is incredible here. Free valet parking, free breakfast, free boat ride to a private beach, the list goes on. The only thing that isn’t that great is the drink prices by the pool and at the bars 32€ for a cocktail is a bit absurd. The rooms are nice and have everything you could need. Very clean and well appointed. The concierge, Alessandro, was incredibly helpful and gave us great Restauraunt recommendations. He was super kind and very passionate which helped us find our favourite dinners of our trip. Roberto the valet was also amazing. He helped us with all of our bags, always had a smile and was always very on top of grabbing the car for us. He was awesome. The beach has a bit of a rocky area in the water, but it has free chairs and umbrellas along with towels. The pool area is similar. The staff are all amazing. Overall amazing we will be back for sure.
