Sa Tankitta In Villasimius

5 stars not because it's the best restaurant overall, but definitely the best in Villasimus. The mussel appetizers are plentiful and very good: mussel soup! For tables of more than two people and if you have children, I recommend making a reservation. For tables of two, the wait should be fairly short.

The best fregola in Sardinia...so much so that you'll want to ask for seconds...and have an even more delicious one...compliments to the chef...

The food was great and the portions quite big. Service I have to give a one-star as the waiter came out of the toilet and did not wash his hands... Ambiete of the restaurant was nothing special. Would recommend to book a table, as this place is always full.

Incredibly fresh food, amazing raw (crudo) fish, great wine selection, and very kind staff and owner. Just go and eat (and the whole fish is superb).

A truly enjoyable evening at this restaurant, which I recommend without hesitation. The kind, attentive, and helpful staff accompanied us from the moment we greeted us to the bill, without ever being intrusive. We began with an appetizer of mixed seafood carpaccio: salmon, swordfish, and other smoked fish specialties, presented with great care and accompanied by a hint of citrus that enhanced their freshness. Meticulous presentation and top-quality ingredients. For the main course, grilled calamari and cuttlefish, cooked to perfection: soft on the inside and slightly seared on the outside, topped with fresh cherry tomatoes and peppers. A simple dish but executed with great care. For the children, a pizza with burrata and cherry tomatoes, cooked in a wood-fired oven: a light crust, well-cooked, and much appreciated by the little ones. To round out the dinner, a refreshing lemon sorbet, perfect for cleansing the palate, and for the true finale of the evening, an excellent ristretto coffee, as it should be. The quality-price ratio is truly excellent considering the quality of the service and the ingredients. I highly recommend this place for a dinner with family or friends. Five stars, fully deserved.

Out of our 7 nights in Villasimius, we came back to this restaurant 4 times. If you don’t have a reservation, make sure to arrive around 7pm and be prepared to wait outside but it’s absolutely worth it. The food is fresh, delicious, and offers a great variety of local dishes. The service is fast, friendly, and always welcoming. We’ll definitely miss this place and would highly recommend this dining experience to anyone visiting Villasimius.

Great food, great staff. Been there for 2 dinners at one lunch during our stay in Villasimius. Highly recommended.

Lots and lots of stuff, first time I have to say that the food is really good, really good fish, I will definitely go back.
