27/03/2025: Quick business lunch turned into a nice surprise. I was in the area with a colleague and we stopped for a quick lunch. The restaurant is beautiful with an enchanting atmosphere, I tasted an excellent fregula with seafood, I promise, I will return!

21/03/2025: A top restaurant, there is nothing to complain about! We stayed in the adjoining hotel for 1 week and ate in this restaurant EVERY evening! The meals are delicious, very inexpensive compared to France and the atmosphere is great by the pool! Really 100% recommended!

27/02/2025: TO RUN AWAY!!!! We were a couple and wanted to have dinner. Arriving late, we politely asked a waitress if the restaurant was still serving. The waitress rolled her eyes, sighed and said yes. But we should have left then. What followed was deplorable service, filthy, bland cuisine, not at all done according to the rules of the art. I had not yet finished my plate which I was struggling to finish when it was snatched from me by the waitress who was eager to finish her service. Finally, at the time of the bill, the waitress refused my credit card claiming that it was not accepted. Refusing to pay otherwise, she finally ended up accepting it. In summary, +40€ for 2 bad “pizzas” + 2 cokes, two undrinkable, insolent and condescending waitresses, it’s VERY expensive to pay. Accustomed to Parisian restaurants where the service often leaves something to be desired, I have never been treated like this. Run away!!!!.

01/01/2025: A place to absolutely avoid, with prices that do not reflect the quality of the food in the slightest. We had spaghetti all'amatriciana and risotto with scampi cream. The spaghetti was overcooked, and seasoned with a liquid mixture of water and oil, which practically made them look like broth. The risotto was also overcooked to the point of being mush. When the staff collected the practically full plates, they didn't even bother to ask why we hadn't touched anything, or what had happened. So to recap: Low quality food, combined with terrible service and staff. Avoid it.

26/03/2025: Enoteca Sant’Elena is an unmissable stop for lovers of good wine and quality cuisine. The welcome is warm, the service impeccable and attentive to every detail. The food is simply excellent, with dishes that bring out the best in the flavors and pair perfectly with the vast selection of wines and cellars. An ideal place for those looking for a high-level food and wine experience in a pleasant and refined atmosphere. Greetings from Trentino, thanks again guys! Absolutely recommended!

12/04/2025: Classic trattoria popular with local families serving traditional Sardinian dishes deliciously prepared and nicely served. We had among other things filindeu in sheep broth and pecorino and maccarrones de poddighe with sheep ragù and Sardinian flower and some dessert: seadas and semifreddo with orange honey and pecorino with abbamele. Highly recommended.

29/10/2024: I had an extremely disappointing experience with the event management at this location. After 25 emails exchanged and an inspection, I had to contact them again for clarification, as I was no longer receiving any replies. Only at that point did I discover that it was not possible to organize the event for the evening, even though they had initially confirmed availability. It would have been sufficient to inform us from the beginning of the lack of options to satisfy our request. This lack of clarity and professionalism has caused a significant waste of time and energy. We would have expected more honesty in communications, instead of false reassurances regarding availability on weekends. I cannot attach the contents of the emails as they are protected by regulation 195/2003. Attached is the second photo, where you can see the discomfort after having proposed yet another date which they said was available and ultimately rejected.

25/10/2024: We went to dinner. Breathtaking location, very well looked after, incredible view and beautiful settings. The presence of the white donkeys, which are willing to be petted, is very beautiful. They gave us a table in front of the window, overlooking the bay. We ordered oysters, mussels all'algherese, spaghetti all'algherese and culurgiones seasoned with ovinfort (Thiesi cheese) and walnuts. All heavenly. Impeccable and friendly service, with great availability, and a very welcome pet welcome. The seadas and assorted Sardinian sweets are excellent. Excellent value for money. What can I say? Great evening and place to absolutely return. Thank you!

01/04/2025: This ancient trattoria is a very difficult place to describe in words, both for the architecture and for the beauty of the objects on display, obviously relating to the local tradition of Sulcis Iglesiente. The tables, of mixed shapes and sizes, including many round, are an invitation to the pleasure of conviviality, under the banner of good food and excellent wines. I really enjoyed the fireplace, with the scented wood, which cheered up and warmed me. Lele, owner and chef, is a friendly, cultured, curious man, passionate about local herbs and herbal preparations, to be used also in his traditional and, at the same time, innovative cuisine. We immediately bonded and exchanged experiences and projects. In short, what I experienced was truly remarkable, even the excellent pizza consumed on Friday evening, now a small routine. If you have any doubts, just come and try. Unfortunately I will return to the "continent", but Nuxis, Letizia's trattoria, Lele, I will take them with me, in my heart.

16/03/2025: Un'esperienza culinaria sublime. Ero stata in questo ristorante diversi anni fa e ne avevo uno splendido ricordo, confermato dai piatti deliziosi degustati recentemente. Ottima qualità, servizio eccellente, tutto proporzionato al costo assolutamente accessibile e conforme alla raffinatezza dei piatti e del locale. Un buon sushi, giustamente, deve avere un prezzo adeguato. Non vedo l'ora di tornarci.

04/04/2025: Nice place in the historic center of Alghero. We ate an appetizer and a first course. The seafood fregula was very good, although we would have preferred a few more minutes of cooking. Despite the winter period the place was almost full, thus justifying the positive reviews. Given the good looks, next time we will try the pizza. A round of applause to the waiters and the owner and, obviously, compliments to the chefs.
