Both the restaurant and the atmosphere are historic. We eat very well. True Sassari cuisine, true Sassari identity. Excellent in everything, from the service to the heartfelt portions (finally). Medium-high prices, but everything is worthy.

Excellent place to eat. Order dishes to share. Very abundant. I recommend.

Excellent experience. 2 portions of delicious lumaconi with sauce (eaten by three, perfect). 1 portion of spectacular tripe (eaten by three, perfect). Roasted horse and donkey (it was for two) super good (also eaten by three). Excellent house wine (1 litre). Three people paid in total: €120.

Very good and well cooked food, the service however leaves a little to be desired such as for example the requested wine was not the right one, the dishes arrived too close together, the first one was not finished and the next ones already arrived; there were no spoons and forks to take food from the serving plate; small environment inside and rather noisy customers.

Cena di gruppo. Ci siamo divisi in due schieramenti contrapposti: menù fisso e menù alla carta. Io ho optato per il menù fisso per non pesare troppo sulla responsabile della nostra associazione e anche, per spirito egoistico, per provare un maialino preparato a Sassari, che ancora mancava alla mia collezione di arrosti fuori porta. Locale pieno e anche di più, vi consiglio di prenotare sempre... Il mio menù, che prevedeva: le melanzane alla sassarese, fave e lardo, antipasti di terra, ricotta con miele ed infine il maialino mi hanno decisamente soddisfatto. A dirla tutta, gli antipasti di terra non mi sono piaciuti particolarmente: il lardo l'ho trovato abbastanza indigesto e anche i formaggi non erano memorabili. Ma il maialino e le fave erano ottimi ed io non amo quasi per nulla questo legume. Il vino della casa rosso manco no, meglio il bianco senza grandi pretese. Il conto ottimo, come non vedevo da anni e il personale sorridente e tanto paziente, vista la marea di persone da soddisfare, meritano la visita. Lo consiglio.
