27/02/2026: For the past three years, we've spent three weeks each year on our Sardinia tour – and every year we've returned to this restaurant in Urzulei, nestled in the mountains. It feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, deep in the mountains, and that's precisely what makes it so special. An absolute dream. Here, good, honest cuisine is still paramount. This family-run business, managed by the owner's mother, radiates so much warmth. You can immediately tell that the cooking here is done with passion and tradition. Everything is fresh, authentic, and prepared with incredible love. In three years of Sardinia, we haven't eaten as well anywhere else. It's always a highlight of our trip and has become a fixed part of our itinerary. If you're looking for genuine Sardinian cuisine, warmth, and quality, this is the place to be. For us, it's one of the best places on the entire island. We'll be back. 🥰❤️

07/12/2025: A must-see if you're visiting Castelsardo, ideal for an aperitivo overlooking the sea after a day at the beach or visiting the castle. Here you can order a drink and a nice charcuterie board or pizza and enjoy a spectacular sunset. Highly recommended!

19/11/2025: A place with spectacular views, I love the light that illuminates the Castelsardo coast. The staff is informative, friendly, and their smiles warm your heart. The mixed fried vegetables are a real treat, with fried vegetables that at first glance look like French fries, but the wonderful surprise is that they are local vegetables bursting with flavor. The local charcuterie has a harmonious and robust regional flavor. They explain how to dip Sardinian bread in extra virgin olive oil, which reveals its fruity notes in every bite, bringing you closer to heaven.

22/02/2026: A wonderful discovery! There were eight of us, and we each ordered different dishes... Some had a first course, some a second course, some no pizza at all... In the end, everyone's opinions were human. The food was excellent, and the beer was amazing!!! We'll definitely be back. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

02/04/2026: We had a really good time! We shared appetizers, a first course, and a second course. Both the first and second courses were served pre-portioned by the kitchen. We asked the waitress if we could do it ourselves, but she said they would do it for us. (We appreciated the choice, it was more elegant, also in terms of the plating and the balance of the dish itself, so it was an extra detail we appreciated, which underlines the fact that they care about service.) If we have the chance, we will definitely be back! Compliments all round.

07/03/2026: Lunch with friends, we shared appetizers (mozzarella in carrozza, bread meatballs, and cheese and egg balls). The meatball sauce was delicious, and the other appetizers were good. Tagliolini with truffle and "Cif e Ciaf" were equally delicious, with the latter being remarkably tender and melting. The arrosticini...delicious! Juicy and flavorful, a real game-changer! The same goes for the desserts, specifically the parrozzo, which was truly delicious, and the ratafia was a real treat, a real discovery. The coffee was also very good. The place was very clean, and the host was worthy of the name: pleasant, courteous, and helpful. We'll definitely be back and will spread the word!

03/01/2026: We had dinner on January 2nd. Tuna tartare, baby octopus alla diavola, and braised polenta. Everything was excellent. The welcome was what you'd expect in places like this. Delicious desserts, and a friendly, attentive atmosphere. I'll be back.

10/03/2026: Important: one of the few places in the area that stays open late. We ate here twice; the pizzas are excellent, large, and there are a variety of flavors—you're sure to find something for yourself. The house wine is also excellent! The prices are reasonable. It's packed in the evenings, so you have to snag a table. A very pleasant place; we recommend the pizza.

10/03/2026: I'm a huge Margherita pizza lover, and I can say it without hesitation: the one at SPQR on Via Aldo Moro in Olbia is the best in the city. I practically always eat Margherita, so for me it's a true test... and here it's truly exceptional. Light dough, quality ingredients, and always cooked to perfection. Owner Davide prepares many different flavors every day, all very inviting, but for me the Margherita remains the number one. Plus, you'll always find kindness, professionalism, and a great passion for their work. It's one of those places you'll always want to return to. If you're in Olbia and want a truly well-made pizza by the slice, SPQR is definitely a must-try.

08/10/2025: An experience that goes beyond the excellent cuisine, which is excellent, plentiful, and more than reasonably priced. The welcome, the atmosphere, the presentation of the fish tourism project, the typical Stintino cuisine caught by Captain Agostino and cooked by Gavina's expert hands. The menu changes daily, seasonally, and based on the catch of the day. Not only does the familiar atmosphere make you feel at home, but Agostino and Gavina are also able to tell you everything about the culture and history of Stintino and the surrounding area. They are both rich in culture and experiences to share, as well as kindhearted. I should add that they also took the time to accommodate my pregnant partner. It was the best dinner of the trip for us; don't miss this gem in Stintino.
