25/07/2025: My partner and I were looking for a place to escape, even just for a weekend, to unplug from the daily grind, and we couldn't have made a better choice. A property with a sea view, surrounded by greenery, peace, and the sound of cicadas! There are probably other properties with these characteristics in the area, but the real difference is the people. The owners are the added value. You feel like you're staying with a big family, not a hotel. Thank you, Daniele, for your authentic cuisine! Catch of the day and good wine! 01/05/2025: Torno abitualmente in questo ristorante ed ogni volta provo la stessa gioia dei bimbi di fronte a propri giocattoli preferiti. Antipasto misto di mare di quattro portate tra cui spicca il sartasciniello ( tipico piatto dei 5 reali siti) rivisitato con polipo. Il troccolo allo scoglio da menzione d'onore. Neanche stavolta lo spazio per la loro mitologica frittura. Però per onorare la festa buonissimo semifreddo amarena. Un rosato IgT per brindare al lavoro di tutti e in particolare di Franco, Gabriella e il loro staff. Antipasti, primi, dolci e vino 40 euro a testa: ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Non lasciatevi ingannare dalla location semplice: il pranzo vale il viaggio ( io faccio 30 km). Temo che perché la sera è una pizzeria sia sottovalutato come ristorante, invece...

29/04/2025: Location non proprio esaltante ma cucina (pizza e primi piatti) indubbiamente di qualità. Peccato di essere capitati in una serata "no" (voglio sperare...) perchè il servizio è stato molto al di sotto degli standard per l'attesa lunghissima a cui siamo stati costretti. Il proprietario però si è fatto perdonare con uno sconto finale e - soprattutto - con un primo piatto di cucina locale (a me destinato) davvero delizioso. I costi? Correttissimi.

11/09/2025: Aside from the cover charge for eating outside at unset tables, we ordered grilled vegetables (excellent) and two peppered mussels: some (a few) were fresh, the rest were stale, and some were spoiled. I don't recommend it; in fact, I strongly advise against it!

07/07/2025: We got married in this enchanting location on July 2nd, in a romantic and unique atmosphere. We chose an outdoor ceremony with a civil rite, held in the little square, and while the temperature in the city was 40 degrees, we enjoyed the unusual coolness, typical of the place, the whole time. The outdoor areas are well-kept, with a romantic style; the rooms, welcoming and clean. The refreshments were excellent, from the presentation of the dishes to the flavors: the risotto was loved by everyone! We thank chef Simone for his patience and availability. The mainstay was Matteo, the maître: for every difficulty, a solution; never a wrong word, never a doubt. He gives certainties to the spouses! A thank you also to Domenico and all the staff: as owners of a restaurant, we can only say courtesy and professionalism. 28/06/2025: I attended a wedding reception and everything was excellent, from the aperitif, with some real refinements, from the fried vegetables to the fried fish, with mozzarella knots made on the spot, puff pastry filled with cheese and speck, rustic quiches, tartlets, swordfish fingers, octopus on a cream of Tropea onion. The appetizers were also excellent, the first courses (the medallions filled with burrata stand out, with salted butter with herbs and cream of yellow datterini) and the second course. The wines were excellent, with a Falanghina with a complex bouquet of flowers and fruit (broom and banana were very present) and a Primitivo with strong hints of cherries in alcohol, balsamic hints, herbaceous sage, spicy cinnamon and cloves, full-bodied and persistent. Truly excellent

07/09/2025: We stopped here on the way home from a vacation in Gargano... what a pleasant surprise...we found eel, cooked beautifully! The service was impeccable, and the staff were all friendly and helpful...we'll definitely be back!
