01/03/2025: Il locale è una casetta tutta di legno arredata in modo semplice. Nel menù accanto alle pizze normali ci sono quelle speciali e fin qui niente che non si trovi anche in altri locali, ma quello che è totalmente fuori dall'ordinario lo si comprende quando si assaggia la pizza. E' di una leggerezza incredibile, si taglia con le mani, la pasta è friabile e morbida. Una pizza di questo livello non si trova nelle pizzerie normali, questa è veramente qualcosa di speciale e anche i condimenti sono ottimi, Questo locale dovrebbe essere nella classifica delle migliori pizzerie d'Italia e ai primi posti. Ho provato centinaia di pizzerie e questa penso sia la migliore.

06/01/2025: Pizza ottima, ma servizio scadente. Oltre la pizza non c'è scelta.. vino spuntato. Ci sono stata più volte e ho sempre avuto la sensazione di essere indesiderata, sono maleducati e indisponenti e appena finito di mangiare iniziano a spegnere tutto e poi ti mandano via in malo modo. Non rilasciano scontrino fiscale per cui il conto è fatto un po' a caso.

03/03/2025: Da “Adriano” il titolare ho trovato qualità, gentilezza e tanta tanta attenzione. Ho dimenticato di comunicargli un paio di intolleranze alimentari e si è trovato in una situazione un po’ delicata ma devo dire che è stato molto bravo. Ha fatto di tutto per rendere la nostra domenica speciale. Antipasti e primi davvero molto buoni, il dolce è stato super . Ritorneremo molto volentieri. Bravo, Complimenti per l’attenzione che hai verso il cliente Dimenticavo…il prezzo è più che onesto.

15/12/2024: Pranzo tra cugini anche se non tutti. Antipasto crudo e cotto favoloso. Due primi da impazzire, fritto misto e dessert. Tutto fresco ben cucinato e servito. Voto 110 e lode con bacio accademico.

13/02/2025: After tasting the Podolico burger with honey mayonnaise cream, you will never go back and you will never eat other burgers again!!! It is not the first time we have come to the Macelleria, all their vast choice is delicious, in particular the tartare and the carpaccio with pistachio cream. But the Podolico burger really stole our hearts, in fact tonight we had a very quick dinner based on this dish: I Podolico with cream mayonnaise and my boyfriend with caramelized red onion! It's always an ecstasy to eat this burger!

25/01/2025: We had lunch every day during our stay in Vieste at this restaurant. Abundant dishes of undisputed quality. Well kept place and friendly, helpful staff. We found wonderful hospitality and a nice welcome. The crouton with olive pâté offered before the meal is delicious. In our lunches we had a large salad, baked potatoes, grilled chicken breast, mixed salad, orecchiette with turnip tops and an excellent Mediterranean sea bass fillet. All courses were delicious and plentiful. At the end of the meal we were offered a taste of sweets or a taste of fresh seasonal fruit (in our case once a taste of tiramisu, the second day of the exceptional watermelon, the third day a taste of a coconut and chocolate semifreddo). Coffee with cantuccini to finish. Excellent quality/price ratio. The restaurant is located a few steps from the seafront. Definitely recommended

19/10/2024: Coma aquí con un grupo de personas de nuestro tour el domingo 13 de octubre por la noche. La sopa de mariscos era increíble - no realmente como una sopa - más como un guiso. Muy delicioso. El sorbete de limón también era muy bueno, y el Tiramisu era excelente. El servicio fue un poco errático con amigos del propietario contribuyendo al trabajo! Ciertamente no sobreprecio. Disfrutamos de nuestra comida y pensamos que este era un buen restaurante para ir con un grupo.

17/02/2025: I'll start by saying I'm from Naples on a family trip to visit the sanctuary of San Michele Arcangelo. Around lunch time we decide to have lunch around there. And seeing the positive reviews on Google Maps, we decide to go to the Al Battistero restaurant. What can I say, simple and good food. Delicious meat from the sliced ​​veal to the sausages, perfectly cooked. Good local cheeses and sliced ​​meats with an incredible smell and flavour, in particular the Salami and Speck. The Lasagna with sausage and mushrooms is good, highly recommended. The stuffed wafers are also good, a local dessert that is very tasty and not at all heavy. Overall simple products but all fresh and well prepared, good Chef! Friendly, professional and friendly waiter. Humble, dynamic and very kind owner in letting us eat without reservation. Very honest price, highly recommended. We will definitely see each other again.

12/01/2025: Sentirsi a casa propria non è mai facile, ma sentirsi a casa propria a distanza di 250 Km. di distanza è quasi impossibile, ma è quello che il Ristotrante Al Battistero ci ha trasmesso fin dal primo contatto telefonico. Aver trasmesso a oltre 30 commensiali (e si, eravamo 32 ospiti) queste sensazioni non è da tutti. Personale professionale e sempre con il sorriso sulle labbra, sempre solerti ad ogni singola richiesta ed esigenza, sempre disponibili dalla cucina alle sale. Inutile perlare poi delle pietanze: tutte a km. 0 tutte cucinate con sapienza e dovizia da chef che non hanno stelle sulla divisa, ma hanno a cuore solo la soddisfazione dle cliente. Antipasti della casa, lasagna bianco con funghi porcini e salsiccia, cavatelli freschi con melenzane, salsiccia e cacioricotta, brace di agello tenerissimo, maiale e salsiccia locale... per non parlare del loro vino locale: un Nero Di Troia con pochissimi solfiti... Insomma dopo l'esperienza mistica e spirituale molto intensa alla Basilica Santuario di San Michele Arcangelo, non poteva esserci continuazione migliore se non Al Battistero. Passateci e dite che vi mando io :-P

24/02/2025: We stayed at this hotel for a weekend, a family-run hotel, the cook was excellent and she and her daughter made us eat local delicacies, we were welcomed very well, there was also a free shuttle that took us both there and back to the sanctuary. Excellent value for money. The missing star for the room is due to the empty mini bar.
