18/04/2026: It's true, the hotel is a bit stuck in the past—the bathrooms could use some updating—but overall it has its charm because those days were clearly good times. Everything works, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is plentiful and has a bit of everything, and the station is just steps away. Anyone who has given it such a negative review, I think, hasn't traveled much.

16/06/2026: Great atmosphere, we were there for a meal and received very friendly service and delicious food, good value for money, I had a spigole (sea bass), you sit under pine trees and immediately feel like you've arrived in Italy…

31/10/2025: Welcoming and simple. Appropriate to the location... Bovino, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The pizza dough is excellent and very digestible.

20/09/2025: A really great pizzeria. The translation app worked quite well. We had, among other things, the typical fried pizza. Very tasty. The server was very patient with us.

18/12/2025: Puglia and Campania were our favorite destinations for a quick seaside getaway when we wandered the mountains to visit Padre Pio... And in Peschici, we managed to stay almost a week, at the Morcavallo. A hotel overlooking the sea, where practically the only barrier was the beach. I also spent a lot of time by the pool, before diving into that sky-blue sea; to the right of the promenade was a small marina that wasn't always crowded. The food at the hotel was very good; a beautiful, dusty lady, a regular guest who lived not far from Peschici, confirmed this to us. She told us that she spent up to two months at the hotel and that she wasn't originally from Puglia. She had moved near San Giovanni Rotondo with her husband, a great friend of Saint Pio, even before the friar became famous in Italy and throughout the world, and to whom they remained devoted forever. The kind lady, now a widow for some time, was astonished when she learned where we were from: her sister, who lived in the same town as us, had married one of our fellow citizens in the 1950s, a well-known local farmer and former mayor. We kept each other company for the rest of our stay, and she told us wonderful things... The owner of the Morcavallo confounded us by saying he also owned a hotel in San Giovanni Rotondo, on the avenue leading to the Sanctuary.

07/10/2025: The location was good, but the room was very spartanly furnished. The breakfast was disappointing, with few fresh options. For me, the hotel isn't worthy of a four-star rating.

31/08/2025: A pleasant, satisfying, and positive vacation. The staff was competent and helpful, with the kindness and friendliness of the owner, Katia, and the entire residence staff. Excellent fresh fish dishes made with the highest-quality ingredients and prepared with attention to detail. Excellent room cleaning service. A quiet location surrounded by nature, not far from the sea.

21/08/2025: Excellent hotel residence with a few flaws that could be resolved with maintenance and small improvements. It has potential. We had a good time. Breakfast could be improved, as it only offers repetitive desserts and no savory options at all. The restaurant is ok. Thanks to Luana and Denise, who manage the dining room well, considering their young age. Antonio's cabaret evening was lovely.

04/01/2026: This place is a joke. Zero professionalism. We had booked a table for 9:30 PM. We arrived promptly, asked for our table, and were told, "You can sit in 10 minutes." Too bad it was a joke for the entire evening, because at 10:30 PM, after waiting an hour outside in the cold for our table, they still kept telling us, "We'll seat you in 10 minutes." At that point, we had no choice but to leave rather than be mocked for the rest of the evening. Since you don't know how to work, I advise you not to accept reservations like so many other places in Manfredonia that do know how to work. Never again, avoid if you can.

21/08/2025: A pleasant discovery, unfortunately, at the end of our holiday. Generous and tasty dishes with excellent value. A panoramic location with a romantic and refined atmosphere, ideal for both couples and evenings with friends. One tip: make the most of the terrace.

12/11/2025: I got carried away by the reviews, but I was very disappointed. I didn't like the pizza at all, and yet they asked me if everything was okay. If a customer leaves food on their plate, I'd ask what they didn't like, since they left almost the entire pizza. The baked caciocavallo was good.

12/11/2025: The sandwich was excellent, and the option to customize it to your liking by choosing from a list of ingredients was interesting. The only downside was the speed of service: a full hour's wait. I understand it was Saturday night, but some tables were free.

08/09/2025: Kiosk with comfortable plastic tables and chairs on the waterfront. Prices are more than fair (panzerotti cost between €3 and €5), and portions are decent. Vegetarian options are limited; I ordered a panzerotto with parmigiana, but it was a shame the parmigiana was with ham! For a water, a beer, two panzerotti, and a small portion of fries, we spent only €12.

02/06/2026: Rustic atmosphere, we dined under olive trees, and we enjoyed it very much. There were three of us. The wooden chairs were rather uncomfortable after a while. The broad beans and chicory, the platter of cured meats and cheeses were uninspiring; I'd call them rather commercial in flavor. The mixed grill and cut meat had a bland flavor, the cut meat was rubbery like the rest of the meat. Ribs were not available, even though June was like a Saturday. You can't miss out on a rib-eye steak at a grill restaurant. Besides, pork sausage and capocollo are also normally eaten at home. The meat counter had little selection, and some cuts on display were a bit blackened. From a grill restaurant, or a place that presents itself as such, I would have expected something more, especially in terms of flavor. The service was confusing and rushed. The bill included extra items, which I pointed out and was refunded. I wouldn't return for the food; the location is truly beautiful and well-kept.

11/05/2026: I went there last night with a friend and we had a great time. The pizza was delicious, and the steak melted in your mouth. The price was super fair. Everyone was super friendly.

15/12/2025: We went to *Cupido* for dinner and were thrilled! We started with the "Cupido" aperitif: a delicious, generous selection, and meticulously prepared, perfect for a delicious start to the evening. Followed by a truly excellent first course of *spaghetti with clams*: flavorful, well-seasoned, and made with fresh ingredients. The *pizza* is a real guarantee: light and digestible dough, perfectly cooked, and generous toppings. The menu also offers many *fish* options, ideal for those who want something different from the classic pizza. Welcoming place, attentive staff, and excellent value. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

21/01/2026: A wonderful place, I won't return. The pizza is so bad that, out of respect for the true Neapolitan pizza, the name should be changed on the menu; it's an insult to call it Pizza. It's better if they close the oven; it's not their art. For Apulian dishes, the food is reheated and doesn't taste fresh. We recommend dining elsewhere. Anyone who appreciates your pizza is probably from the North and doesn't understand anything about pizza.

The quality-price ratio is excellent, and every course confirms your choice. The bruschetta in oil is a must-try, truly sublime, as are the flavorful and carefully prepared first courses. The menu is quite varied and includes typical local dishes, appetizers, first courses, second courses, and even pizzas, also available for takeout. Everything is well-made, tasty, and very reasonably priced. It's an ideal place for both lunch and dinner, perfect for those who want to eat well in a quiet, family-run environment. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and immediately puts you at ease. The food is good and the drinks even better, in a genuine and convivial atmosphere. Important note: they don't accept debit or credit cards, so it's best to bring cash. Don't miss the lady's homemade mandarinetto: a real treat that ends the meal in the best possible way.
