13/09/2025: Quality, combination, clarity, presentation. Everything's perfect. Mother and daughter (also truly beautiful) are in the kitchen. They cook the way we imagine real Italian cuisine. They know the clarity of the dishes, the quality and ingredients, and the precise preparation. They can tell when the pasta is al dente; they don't have to pull a noodle out every minute to determine the degree of doneness. We had a delicious meal; I would give it a star. Pulled skate, lukewarm, with steamed fennel, olive oil, and salt. Mussels with risotto, rice, and tenderly cooked potatoes. This broth is delicious. Then came pasta, with prawns and small sun-drenched tomatoes. The main course was sea bass, perfectly prepared, with just a hint of olive oil. It's an insider tip here in Puglia. We drank a bottle of wine with it. Cervaro by Antinori. Also an insider tip. My absolute favorite wine. We'll be back, definitely. With a big hug☺️🙏

29/08/2025: The restaurant is very formal and reserved, with a very extensive menu (perhaps too extensive) that opens with a phrase that immediately turns heads: "minimum spend per person €50." The waiter was very kind, while the order taker was very cold and aloof, perhaps more interested in calculating the bill based on the dishes ordered. We ordered two spaghetti with clams: tasty, but the portion was worthy of a taste and topped with just five clams (Price €22). For the main course, two grilled swordfish steaks, flavorless and of questionable freshness, a bagged salad on the side, and two glasses of white wine to drink, all for the modest sum of €113. The price for a good seafood restaurant is fair, but not here!

01/11/2025: It's the only place where you truly feel at home. Friendly and attentive staff, and fantastic food and pizza. Gluten-free pizza and fried foods are delicious and, above all, safe. Cosimina and Mimmo...thank you!!!

30/09/2025: Mimmo the owner is a very professional and very kind person, I have been a customer for many years and I have ALWAYS eaten very well and at reasonable prices, from the classic pizza to the scrocchiarella and at lunch, everything is truly excellent and authentic, I highly recommend it to everyone.

26/08/2025: I went to eat this evening with my family. I absolutely recommend this place. The welcome, service, and food were all excellent. Kudos to all the staff.

26/08/2025: Highly recommended!!! Thin, light, and delicious pizza. Prices you won't find anywhere else anymore. The staff is incredibly kind and friendly. It's truly a pleasure to go out for a bite to eat! We'll be back soon!

11/11/2025: We were lucky enough to find a spot on the rock. The food was very good, though the portions were a little small, but I'm talking about the more generous appetizers, first courses, and second courses. The service left a little to be desired; we waited a long time before being served. It could have been better 🤙🏼

30/10/2025: My partner and I went there last night. For the first time in many years, we felt bad about the new, older waiter. As soon as we walked in, my partner felt like we were being watched. Then, when he approached, he made a pass at my partner, saying something in dialect like, "We didn't quite understand, he was talking about breasts." She didn't take her eyes off him the entire evening. They should hire serious staff, not malicious people; he looked like a Bedouin. I hope the owners read the review and do something about it, otherwise we'll never set foot in the nightlife again and we'll get bad publicity.

16/08/2025: Good evening everyone. I've been to this wonderful bar, or so my friends told me. Unfortunately, as soon as we sat down, we didn't find any staff ready to serve us, resulting in an hour-long wait for a simple coffee. During the wait, amidst the shouting of the rude clientele that this bar prides itself on, we received a shard of glass broken by some rude teenagers. After almost an hour of waiting, the waitress, who we thought was underage, came over and rudely served us our coffee, forgetting to bring us sugar. Finally, after serving us, she proceeded to clear the table next to us, yelling and complaining about what the next kids had left. We were very disappointed with this bar because we've come to the conclusion that the rumors we've heard are false. Despite this, we later ordered a trio of drinks and an aperitif, and we're still waiting, a good three days after we ordered. Although we are not culinary experts, I must say that there have been occasions when we have been truly welcomed excellently, the service was impeccable and so was the order, so I love them.

22/07/2025: Terrible owner, truly rude. The number provided on Google Maps is unreachable, and I couldn't find out if it was possible to book a table at the restaurant because the answers provided were rude and unrelated to my simple question, "Is it possible to book a table?" Not recommended for those who want to be sure of finding a table even if they're coming from far away just to try the restaurant.

03/06/2025: THE OSTERIA of yesteryear. Small but welcoming atmosphere. The owners—I apologize if I don't remember your names—were very kind. Excellent appetizers, the first course with homemade pasta, cardoncelli mushrooms, and cherry tomatoes—superlative. They truly deserve the compliments. We highly recommend them if you're passing through Ceglie. Keep up the good work, promoting local, locally sourced foods. WELL DONE. Francesco and Elena

07/09/2025: A small but charming cove. We couldn't use the beach because we were in a camper, and parking isn't allowed in the beach parking lot (the beach next door, Lido Ottagono, is 100 meters away).

08/09/2025: Everything was perfect, the utmost politeness and kindness, impeccable service, far from the unbearable hubbub of some of the squares in the historic center of MESAGNE. You can eat excellent delicacies in company and relax in carefree conversations with friends and family, without any improvised restaurateur ruining your eardrums with bass and contrasting vibrations that have nothing to do with the cultural context of the natural location, which thus becomes a violence, and you also have to pay significant amounts for poor food. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE LOCATION OF PIZZERIA GIUSY. BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND EQUALLY PLEASANT OUTSIDE

23/09/2025: Beautiful location, service a bit rude and rushed, food average for all sushi, certainly not the best.

07/09/2025: One of the worst service I've ever seen in a restaurant, a course every half hour, basically, if you listen to hunger you'll be sitting for 48 hours. The staff is improvised, not even wearing jogging clothes. Sometimes you have trouble figuring out who the waiter is. One in particular looks like a rapper with no experience serving food. When you ask for missing courses, they say they've run out of ingredients. Considering it was a Saturday, it's a tough call not to serve several courses, and for this reason, they still charge as an all-you-can-eat. They also want to be right when you point out all the shortcomings to them; evidently, that's how things work in their area. Medium/low quality, there's definitely better. After 15 hours of work, sitting down and receiving this kind of treatment is an insult. Not even an apology, maybe even offering you a coffee, nothing. We sat down at 9 PM, fasting, and we left the table still fasting at 11:30 PM. Waste of money, I strongly advise against it due to the terrible service and quality! Restaurants are not for you!! Never again!

12/07/2025: If you ever find yourself in Ceglie Messapica with an empty stomach and a craving for steak that could feed a Roman legion, do yourself a favor and book a table at Enococus - Acini & Carbone—immediately. This cozy little gem is run by a husband-and-wife dream team who know exactly what they’re doing: he brings the fire to the grill, she brings the perfect wine to your glass, and together they bring you one of the best meals you’ll have in Italy. The steaks here don’t come in “small, medium, large”—they come in “bring friends or starve trying.” Sharing is mandatory unless you’re a T-rex. The sides? Just as memorable. Every bite was worth every kilometer we drove to get here. The whole place is delightfully tiny—maybe six tables total—so you’ll feel like you’re eating at a secret dinner party rather than a restaurant. Just don’t expect to wander in on a whim; you need a reservation unless your plan is to drool at the windows while someone else enjoys your steak. In short: incredible food, warm people, unforgettable night. Five stars, six tables—good luck getting one!

09/10/2025: Absolutely fantastic place to eat, a real hidden gem in a sleepy small town, probably, the best woodfired oven pizza and bbq meat with real wood fired oven and grill/bbq. The service is extremely friendly and the food is absolutely delicious, well cooked and served promptly. The chef/cook is a highly skilled expert in his art, every piece of meat is cooked to perfection and super tasty. I'm very picky with my food and this restaurant hit continuous home runs with the super high quality of food all night long. I highly recommend eating at this restaurant (summer season only) as you won't be disappointed in both the service and quality of the food and the price is extremely reasonable. 5 stars all the way. This is my second visit here, I'm loving it.
