07/06/2025: Very nice little place. We've been here three times and have been satisfied every time. Very uncomplicated, quiet, right on the beach, with private access. The village is also within walking distance or easily accessible by bike. Very friendly owners. The pizza here is highly recommended; one of the best of the trip. We had a small dog with us, which we were allowed to take anywhere on the beach. I can't comment on the showers or toilets, as we use everything in our camper. Water and sewage disposal facilities are available. We would love to come back.

The owner was very welcoming and kind, thank goodness he was there, because the waitress, a young girl with short hair, who served us, was difficult and not at all welcoming. On more than one occasion, we felt awkward. Probably because of the time? I don't know... but if I sit down, it's also to relax and feel in a comfortable and welcoming place. Which is why everything is perfect, but I would revise the staff. Or at least train them, since everyone can make mistakes and, above all, everyone has the right to learn and understand the value of work. Ad majora, especially to her.

14/07/2025: The owners and staff are rude, rude, rude. To eat a pasta dish, you have to order two portions and pay double. This is completely out of line. If you're alone, you have to eat two identical portions of pasta. If you're a couple or with children, you have to eat the same dishes and can't order different starters. This is an ugly, old place with a 30-year-old high chair for the kids, half broken and dangerous. Avoid it. Go to other restaurants; there are plenty in the area and they're not rude. Zero.

Very kind and welcoming staff, a good family run business, with the owner's father making the braciole by hand😋. Excellent service and prices for the abundant food. 13/07/2025: We probably wouldn't have even included this place in our culinary plans during our short stay in Lecce, as the current Google rating falls a bit short of our standards. But since it was mentioned by a local who rented us an apartment as one of two places to visit in Lecce, it was inevitable that we wouldn't listen. And it was worth it, because although it wasn't something special enough for me to honestly give it 5 stars, I consider this restaurant a solid 4, with really good, traditional Apulian cuisine. The restaurant is located in the historic center of Lecce, on a busy street – it's lively and pleasant, and you can sit outside (as we did, but at tables on a side street, not by the barrels on the main street) or inside (there was a large dog there, though, and not everyone appreciates loud barking and that kind of company). We started with an appetizer called "Lu Spilu." It was a plate of deep-fried balls in three different varieties: meatballs, potato croquettes, and what the menu calls "iconic" pittule (yeast dough balls traditional to Salento). They were tasty, although I expected them to be crispier on the outside after the "iconic" pittule. Then came the main courses: my son ordered grilled octopus, and I opted for the puccia, popular in the region, a beautifully toasted roll filled with octopus simmered in a pignata. A pignata is a terracotta pot used for long cooking and is considered the ancestor of today's slow cookers. The girls, on the other hand, ordered parmigiana (with eggplant, mortadella, meatballs, and capocollo). The appetizer was okay. My son's octopus and my puccia were very good. The parmigiana were very meaty, but good. A chilled rosé wine from the region is also available. Service is acceptable. I don't like having to ask for plates to be removed half an hour after eating. But the overall experience was good. Don't be fooled by the currently rather low Google ranking. It's worth a visit and a try, especially since the prices aren't high for Lecce. A solid 4! Check it out!

11/07/2025: An elegant and welcoming restaurant with friendly and professional staff. Traditional dishes are freshly cooked under the owner's watchful eye. I recommend the puccia and the fried octopus, but everything is truly delicious. If you're lucky, ask for the stewed snails, a truly delicious and unique off-menu item. A must-try is a Lecce coffee, served in a moka pot with almond milk and ice. A wonderful experience in a historic center that truly feels like a living room.

19/06/2025: Just like at home! A customer here for over 30 years. The bruschetta and house appetizer are a must, then you are torn between choosing between an excellent mixed roast or a homemade cordon bleu! Tried the fried food and what can I say? Excellent Domenico and the lady assisted by their son are a guarantee of friendliness and professionalism! The chefs in the kitchen deserve praise!

Clean and very spacious environment The menu is full of different Salento dishes, both seafood and meat, we had an excellent appetizer and second courses such as grilled meat, sliced ​​meat etc. Exceptional, very kind staff, we will return.
