Li Jalantuùmene is a hidden gem. A high end restaurant with a fixed menu based on fresh local and organic in season ingredients, it offers a beautiful culinary experience. I enjoyed being introduced to the flavors of Puglia and specifically from the Monte Sant’Angelo area. Each course added more flavors and notes that complimented one another. It was a joy to meet and engage with the chef.

My wife and I had a tasty lunch at this restaurant. Chef Gege took great care to create a wonderful dish and dessert that considered my wife’s allergies. Great food and exceptional service. I highly recommend it.

We came to this restaurant by chance, knowing the owner. We had lunch at his recommendation. The first courses were delicious, the second course was stewed lamb with freshly picked vegetables. The dessert was delicious. The owner, who served the tables, was very kind and welcoming.

My husband’s and my experience at Li Jalantuúmene was excellent! Chef Gege was very knowledgeable and passionate about his dishes and all of the local ingredients that went into them. His wife was very helpful and attentive. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere added to a very memorable honeymoon dinner.

Almost four months after our visit to Li Jalantuumene, I still feel the urge to write this review, because experiences like this deserve to be shared. The atmosphere of this little restaurant was simply incredible: a wonderful place in an intimate square, perfect for a special evening with my wife. The food? Nothing short of fantastic. We savored the flavors of the region, while Gegè passionately explained each dish and the details of their preparation. I still remember the pork cheek, the pork belly, the perfect orecchiette, and the appetizer with cold fava bean puree—truly unforgettable. The wine selection was also carefully chosen: an extraordinary bottle of Masseria Maime perfectly accompanied our dinner. A special thanks goes to Gegè for his recommendations on places to visit the next day: thanks to him, we discovered places we would never have found otherwise. This is the classic example of a place and people who make trips memorable. Despite the delay in the review, the memory of this experience remains vivid and special.

We arrived by chance while walking through the streets of the beautiful Monte Sant'Angelo. What can I say? We ate very well, pampered by the chef, high-level cuisine, the restaurant is small but welcoming and very well-kept with beautiful paintings on display. I highly recommend this restaurant.
