The perfect meal! Nina & Gegè are great hosts, and cook with passion. They can great you with a simple and local meal (with a great deal!), or even put together a Michelin-star level menu if requested. Unforgotable, highly recommended.

What a fantastic place for lunch or dinner! Chef Gegè truly makes the whole experience special. He recommended a delicious drink that I absolutely loved and was incredibly thoughtful about the food as well. Since I don’t like coffee, he specially prepared a coffee-free tiramisu for me. Amazing service! And it turned out to be the best tiramisu we had during our trip through Italy. He also takes the time to chat with you at the table and happily takes a fun photo with you. Absolutely recommended! On Tripadvisor it says $$$$, but that is not true. Our pasta was around 20-25 euro's. And it was delicious!

We had a wonderful night at this restaurant in Monte Sant Angelo. The chef and his wife made us feel like family as they served up course after course of thoughtfully prepared dishes made from locally-sourced, simple ingredients and paired perfectly with local wines. Chef Gege’s passion for food and his warm welcome to guests shines through in all he does. Thank you for a beautiful first Michelin experience!

Excellent food - the chef elevated traditional dishes and brought out the best of the natural flavours (simple things like pasta with cime di rapa were already excellent).
There were only two set menus (3 courses and 5), for resp. 40 and 65 EUR. No a la carte option (not sure why, maybe not part of the concept right now).
Could be improved if there was a wine card with prices per glass. The wine suggestion was great though.

Li Jalantuùmene is a hidden gem. A high end restaurant with a fixed menu based on fresh local and organic in season ingredients, it offers a beautiful culinary experience. I enjoyed being introduced to the flavors of Puglia and specifically from the Monte Sant’Angelo area. Each course added more flavors and notes that complimented one another. It was a joy to meet and engage with the chef.

We came to this restaurant by chance, knowing the owner. We had lunch at his recommendation. The first courses were delicious, the second course was stewed lamb with freshly picked vegetables. The dessert was delicious. The owner, who served the tables, was very kind and welcoming.
