18/02/2025: I couldn't wait to have dinner here, and actually my feelings were right because: Small place, furnished with style, tidy, clean and welcoming. The lady who runs it is simply an expert, exquisite and sweet person. Simple but delicious food. I will definitely be back often!!! ❤️

24/03/2025: Trattoria Messapica is the ideal place for those who want to discover the true flavors of Salento. I had the pleasure of dining here and every course was a surprise. The starters offer an authentic taste of local cuisine, with fresh ingredients and balanced flavours. The first course, prepared with homemade pasta, was simply perfect, with a sauce that enhanced each ingredient. The desserts also lived up to expectations, closing the meal in the best way. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff attentive and available to tell the tradition behind each dish. A perfect place for those visiting the area and wanting to have an authentic gastronomic experience. Highly recommended.

02/04/2025: De gerechten waren goed gepresenteerd en het eten was heerlijk. De obers waren erg aardig, ik raad dit restaurant zeker aan aan iedereen die van een goede maaltijd houdt.

30/03/2025: two of us came for dinner, we tried two pizzas and had a dessert, I must say that the prices are a little high, some are fair. the pizzas are super generous and full of toppings even if the cooking could have been better, shame about the dessert because we expected more. at the entrance we had to wait a bit amidst the confusion and chaos of Saturday evening that took over, but all in all the staff is very kind even if slightly disorganized and the environment is very comfortable and nice, from the outside to the internal details. not bad I recommend it as a good restaurant

02/04/2025: Very quiet and intimate environment. Small but well structured place Extremely friendly staff, Mrs. Angela is truly exquisite! She was also very attentive when I told her that there was a person who had some mobility difficulties, so she was attentive in meeting our needs. I was there for the first time two weeks ago... all the diners were happy and satisfied! Excellent food and right portions! Cuisine in balance between tradition and refinement to satisfy all palates. In short, I will happily return Average prices but still compensated by good quality

02/04/2025: Ambiente molto tranquillo ed intimo. Locale piccolino ma ben strutturato Personale estremamente cordiale, la signora Angela è davvero squisita! É stata umamente anche molto attenta quando le ho detto che c'era una persona che aveva qualche difficoltà motoria, quindi si é dimostrata attenta nel venire incontro alle nostre necessità. Ci sono stata la prima volta due settimane fa...commensali tutti contenti e soddisfatti! Cibo ottimo e porzioni giuste! Cucina in equilibrio tra tradizione e ricercatezza per accontentare tutti i palati. Insomma ci tornerò volentieri Prezzi nella media ma compensati comunque dalla buona qualità
