I find the panzerotti well fried but the dough is too thick for my taste and the mozzarella inside is a bit rubbery.

Always excellent quality!
Delicious panzerotto. Light dough, dry fried food, just the right amount of toppings. Delicious, delicious, delicious!
It's a small place with just a few tables...but I guess it's more of a takeout place than a sit-down place, and you know, you can eat panzerotto standing up!
The only downside is the service isn't always friendly...a smile wouldn't hurt :)

Located in the central Via Ciro Giovinazzi.
A classic takeout place, small but quite cozy. There's no indoor seating.
The panzerotto is delicious, with a generous filling and a light and fluffy dough. Service is quick, with friendly and professional staff.
The wait was short, even though there were a few customers inside and it was Holy Thursday.
Definitely recommended for those looking for a quick evening stop and a good meal.

One of the few places open after the theater, at 11:30 PM, with a varied selection of panzerotti, pucce, arancini, and mini pizzas.
Excellent, generous dough and delicious toppings.
The staff were extremely friendly and happy to prepare our last wish at 11:30 PM... we asked to share... and to our surprise, they made us two mini panzerotti. What can I say... highly recommended and worth returning for.

Visited Dottor Panzerotto on a busy Saturday night and it was absolutely worth the wait. We ordered four oven-baked panzerotti — all arrived warm, generously filled, freshly baked, and full of flavour.
Service was friendly and polite despite how busy it was. We stopped by while out in town after a long day of music and photoshooting, and this was exactly what we needed — comforting, satisfying, and delicious. Highly recommend if you’re in Taranto.
