23/02/2025: This small place just needs to open a restaurant next door and that's it. The food at 'Ready to eat Don Guanella' is simply the tastiest you can eat in the Via Giulio Petroni area, right up there with the Don Guanella retirement home. Lots of takeaways from the riders, lots of them. And many customers who, like me, come for a snack on their lunch break. What a snack it isn't, given that the portions are generous. You can choose between first courses in trays, second courses of all types, based on meat or fish, and side dishes of your choice. Yes you can also order for lunch or dinner. The cost is decidedly convenient: for me, who often eat here, I don't go beyond six euros to eat a portion of a second course of meat and side dish. Generous portions. And the two guys at the counter are truly special courtesy. Which, I always say, really makes the difference.

31/05/2025: VERY rude!!!!! we try to be mindful as tourists and speak italian and be respectful wherever we go, but the staff were so rude, treated us like we were idiots, and made us feel so uncomfortable the whole time we ate our pastries and had our coffees. in the 6 weeks we’ve been travelling around italy, we have not been treated this poorly. we couldn’t wait to get out of there - save yourself the trouble and go to a cafe that respects its patrons.

10/11/2024: I found the typical Sardinian dishes repeatedly tasted during my 35 years spent on the Island. The culurgionis with butter and sage and with ragù are exceptional. The sliced ​​sheep with rocket and parmesan cheese is also excellent. We concluded with the classic sebada and a delicious homemade mirto.

The meat was of excellent quality, the tasty appetizers and the desserts served in the lounges added a special touch to the evening. All accompanied by impeccable service and a pleasant atmosphere. The only negative aspect is the presence of smokers in the room, which made the experience less comfortable for those who prefer a smoke-free environment. Overall, *an excellent dinner*, recommended for the quality of the food and the hospitality, with a little room for improvement for the comfort in the room

17/05/2025: Sono stata in questo ristorante con alcuni colleghi e, purtroppo, l’esperienza è stata ben al di sotto delle aspettative. Il personale è stato cortese, ma questo è stato l’unico aspetto positivo della serata. La carne servita era visibilmente vecchia e riscaldata, con un sapore sgradevole e una consistenza stopposa. Un piatto che non dovrebbe mai uscire da una cucina, abbiamo fatto presente la questione ma nessuno si è interessato...prezzi esageratamente alti per la qualità proposta. Rapporto qualità-prezzo totalmente insoddisfacente. il locale bello dentro peccato che noi eravamo nella tendopoli esterna al buio e al freddo. Mai più!

29/06/2025: I sincerely recommend this place to families with children! We had a great time there. The apartment with a kitchen met our expectations and was very comfortable. Only the air conditioning worked averagely and had an unpleasant smell. Apart from that, the place is really beautiful. A large and clean swimming pool where you can spend time nicely. The rest of the farm was also beautiful and well-kept. The food offered by the restaurants was also very tasty. I think we will come back here again.

27/06/2025: We spent 4 beautiful days in Otranto and at the Fattoria! Everything was great, from the pool to the rooms and especially the staff who even after some problems helped us immediately! We will definitely be back!

Here in this restaurant, both things are combined. You will be guided through a menu chosen by the owner himself, like a painter chooses the colors and the theme of his painting. So simply let yourself be guided. Forget your tastes and let go. And happiness will be at the end of the meal, all accompanied by the owner's wine, which is on par with angels... A fine dining experience, the most beautiful meal of my vacation. Thank you, Boss!

02/06/2025: We ordered four take-out pizzas, two of which were gluten-free and lactose-free. We called the pizzeria from home because we couldn't distinguish the pizzas. They told us that the gluten-free ones are those with just one olive, but strangely enough, my daughter's, who is celiac, the only one with chips, had 3 olives. In the confusion, my daughter ate a little of both pizzas and was sick all night. Luckily, hers is not a serious alliance.

22/06/2025: Very pleasant evening in the courtyard with the grape vines. Very characteristic and typically Salento atmosphere. Well prepared dishes with good ingredients. Punctual and attentive service.
