Here, you'll experience the warm atmosphere of the South, with dishes that tell stories of tradition and passion. The pasta and potatoes with provola is a masterpiece of comfort food: creamy, fragrant, and rich in flavor, just like it's eaten in the alleys of Naples. Also not to be missed is the fried anchovy cuoppo, fragrant and golden, with a taste of the sea and authenticity. And to finish on a sweet note, the Neapolitan pastries here are simply superb: sfogliatelle, babà, and pastiere that seem to have come straight from the best Neapolitan pastry shops. A restaurant that combines authenticity, quality, and hospitality, making every visit a memorable experience.

15/09/2025: Enjoyed their salamino e gorgonzola pizza and it was by far the best pizza I've ever eaten! Service was excellent and friendly and the atmosphere in the evening was perfect in an almost full restaurant.

29/08/2025: If you're staying near Statuto in Florence, visit this restaurant! The food was amazing. The White Ragu was perfect and exactly what I needed after a long day of walking around the city! The tiramisu was also lovely too. The staff were just as amazing as the food was! There was one waitress whose name I unfortunately did not get, but she was lovely! She asked where I was from, how long I was staying and gave me some really good recommendations regarding things to do in the city. All of my food was served with a smile and they did not rush me despite me being one of the last in the restaurant for that evening! Would highly recommend!

10/10/2025: Cavour is a lifesaver! Our hotel’s up the hill (a beautiful property called Podere Benintendi) but Cavour was able to deliver! That, plus the Capricciosa pizza, La Cavour focacce, and Caesar salad were all amazing. Generous toppings, fillings, and size! Thank you! Satisfied customers here 🙏🏽

20/10/2025: We arrived at the restaurant on Sunday with a reservation made a week in advance, and given the 1,600 reviews, we went in without a doubt, though without reading them. So, for what we ate, we certainly spent a lot, but that wouldn't have been a problem if it weren't for all the mistakes made by the inattentive, almost improvised service, as well as at checkout, which, due to the errors and wait times alone, could have been offset by 0.42 cents from the separate bills.

19/10/2025: Stopped on the road. Good parking. Had a pork fillet with mashed potatoes and a glass of red. Great food. Fresh wv and otherwise cozy atmosphere both in the garden and inside.

25/09/2025: Excellent thin crust pizza. One of the best we've eaten. The pasta was also excellent and made properly. Prices are relatively low and overall the value for money is excellent. We would definitely be happy to return.

05/08/2025: A really nice little place, with soft lighting, just the way I like it, and considering it was a Sunday in August, it wasn't packed, just the way I like it... 😁 The chitarra allo scoglio was very good, and the lamb chops were simply wonderful. The crema catalana was a little too sweet for my taste, but sugar and I had a falling out. Great value, low price, and high quality, congratulations.

16/09/2025: I think it's one of the most beautiful places in Florence. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the pizza is unbeatable, 😋 It gives me the same feeling as the one I ate in Naples, it's so good. Only the first course was too al dente for my personal taste, but that's how they eat in Naples. Despite everything, I highly recommend the squid ink calamarata with calamari and yellow cherry tomatoes. The spaghetti carbonara frittatina, which is an appetizer, is truly a symphony of deliciousness: on the outside it looks like a giant croquette, while on the inside it's the discovery of carbonara, beautifully flavorful and slightly creamy. To finish a dinner on a high note, you need dessert: the babamisu (a tiramisu with baba soaked in coffee liqueur instead of ladyfingers) made my husband very happy; with Lulù, which is a giant cream puff filled with whipped cream flavored with limoncello, I discovered a dessert I hadn't heard of. I've been a pastry chef for over 10 years. Excellent combination. Courteous staff, some smiling, and short wait times. I recommend going there, especially if you need to impress a girl. The wisteria-covered gate is very pretty, and there's a small pergola decorated with fake plants that really make a statement. We even had candlelight dinner. We really enjoyed it. Reservations are recommended for these two spots in the restaurant. There's actually plenty of seating, and the space is spacious. If you don't have any special needs, I think you can find a spot.

23/08/2025: The pizza is delicious, but there is no menu in English. The place is next to the hotel, I think guests from the hotel are not uncommon :) I hope there will be a menu in English, so that you can choose the perfect pizza, and not the first one you come across😅

17/03/2025: The staff has always been extremely kind. The food is simply excellent and of high quality. I'm giving it a low rating because the portions are truly modest, at least when it comes to the side dishes. My daughters asked for mashed potatoes three times (because we love going back) and they only got a paltry soup... I hope this criticism is constructive.
