16/06/2026: Nice aesthetics, but that's where the good things end. Service could be questioned (missing cutlery and a waiter leaving our plates saying "you do it yourself"). The pizzas were nothing special, especially since they were extremely heavy. Plus, there was a mix-up of the toppings between two pizzas at our table, and their solution was to put the toppings from one pizza on top of the other, which obviously returned to the table cold. I wouldn't normally complain about that, but when yet another pizzeria does that, charging you sky-high prices because they have to pretend to be "gourmet," it's hilarious. Ultimately, these are pizzerias like there have always been; they just change the packaging to justify the high prices.

13/06/2026: Materia is a reference pizzeria in the area, unfortunately this time it disappointed expectations, probably the oven had not reached the ideal temperature, the dough had little flavor and the pizza was not very hydrated and consequently burned in some places, I have to be honest on previous occasions I had impressed the quality of the product but this time it was disappointing, I hope that this post can help us improve and never let our guard down, respect for the customer always comes first.

06/05/2026: DISGUSTING! This place is a disgrace to Italy! The tablecloth was dirty, the knife and fork were dirty. The Chef pizza we ordered was disgusting and inedible. Specifically, it was half-baked. The egg looked like snot next to the pizza. My partner took one bite and left 98% of the food there. We sent it back. We expected them to have the honor not to charge for this horror. But they had the nerve to pay. Unfortunately, I don't speak Italian so I didn't even try to negotiate with them. NO ONE SHOULD GO TO THIS PLACE THAT IS A DISGUSTING RESTAURANT! ... REPLY TO THE OWNER'S REPLY: It's your fault that the pizza my partner ordered was bad. The waiter said to put it back in the oven for a few minutes. But if you serve a disgusting dish, why are you surprised that the guest doesn't eat it? And when trust is gone, why should we ask for another dish if you couldn't even prepare the first one properly? I didn't order that pizza. It wasn't good either, but at least it wasn't as snotty as the other pizza. Shame on you for serving poor quality food. We were in town for 4 days, ate at Il Ciampo restaurant 3 times and we had no problems with them. In fact, at least they can make pizza there. Unfortunately, they were closed on Monday, so we went to you. But we already regretted going to a place that is a mockery of a restaurant. I suggest you get a new chef and maybe clean up the restaurant. You would do better to apologize and not complain. If you do this, you'll go broke. And then I'll open a bottle of champagne.

24/04/2026: Two times we had take-away. Very friendly staff. And delicious food!!! Also including a desert.

16/05/2026: They charge with 5 euroa per person, to eat inside. The pizza was ok.

14/05/2026: The food and the place, very good. The waitress was very rude, yelling and snorting while serving. I recommend she find another job; customers are sacred and you can't treat them like that.

27/05/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic tagliata cinta (wild boar) with red onions. My girlfriend had a delicious pasta guitarra. Superb presentation, very friendly service. Cozy, relaxed atmosphere. And free parking right outside the door as well. Highly recommended.

20/05/2026: A bad experience due to the poor service organization. Furthermore, the atmosphere wasn't good; the servers were doing their best to compensate for the disorganization. The pizza area wasn't large enough to handle both takeout orders and all the restaurant's tables. It took two hours for seven pizzas.

07/07/2026: A cozy place to enjoy delicious and affordable pizza. The waiters were very friendly and helpful, especially to our daughter, whom they gave crayons to draw with and keep her entertained.

21/05/2026: Massimo the pizza chef is the best!! The pizza is fantastic, it doesn't make you thirsty at night and it's delicious and not bloated! The waitresses are fantastic, kind and fun!!! 5 stars for me! Top!

19/05/2026: This restaurant was recommended to me by someone who was a local in Florence however when I went in and said at the table I was surprised to find out how very limited the menu was no brada in the middle of Florence. I can signed myself to go ahead and get something anyway because I was so hungry and then I waited and waited and waited and waited and I finally just left someone said I'll be back but they never came back.

23/04/2026: Il Rustico is always a guaranteed place, where once a year a group of colleagues and I travel from Milan for lunch. The family-run restaurant, with its typically 1980s decor, serves traditional Tuscan cuisine, dominated by Her Majesty the Florentine steak, cooked to perfection by Chef Cesare, expertly assisted by his wife, who manages the dining room with punctuality and discretion. After the meal, in addition to their homemade desserts, I recommend a stroll through the charming village. The quality/price ratio is excellent, making it worth the trip.

07/04/2026: Yesterday, Easter Monday, I had a truly amazing experience at Le Cantinacce. The excellent meat tasting menu began with a Tuscan antipasti platter of cured meats, pecorino cheese, and top-quality liver crostini. Next came a choice of first course: I opted for the gnudi au gratin with a fondue of aged pecorino cheese and truffle...indescribably delicious, it was enough to blow you away! For the second course, a tender and flavorful roast suckling pig topped with mouth-watering potatoes. And to finish, a refreshing lemon dessert with meringue and fresh strawberries. The whole-wheat and turmeric bread, fragrant and fragrant, is homemade. Wine, water, and coffee were included in the €45 price tag, a truly exceptional value for money. The restaurant is run by a young, competent, polite, and attentive staff. The view of the Chianti hills is enchanting. Go there, you won't regret it.

07/05/2026: Great restaurant, great food, and very friendly staff. However, be prepared for a bit of a wait, so don't expect quick service as there are only 2-3 people working. We opted for the €15 set menu and were more than impressed with what we got for it. 🫶🏻

04/05/2026: The pasta is made with stone-ground flour and sourdough and is very digestible. Above you will find all the refined and quality things, to be clear, not the cooked ham made from the pressed shoulder but the good good one!!! 😋

22/03/2026: We tried Pizzeria Origano in Calenzano, ordering two takeout pizzas—a Margherita with artichokes and a Quattro Formaggi—and were truly impressed! The dough is simply among the best we've ever tasted: light, well-leavened, and highly digestible. You can immediately taste the quality, and every bite confirms the attention to detail. The ingredients are also top-notch, perfectly enhancing the final result. Both pizzas were exceptional, tasty, and perfectly balanced in flavor. Plus, the staff was very helpful and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a pizzeria we'll return to often—highly recommended.

21/03/2026: Thank goodness this delightful little place exists in Calenzano! The round pizza is delicious, from the dough to the quality ingredients and the many flavors to choose from, along with many beautiful and delicious desserts. Plus, the girl at the cashier is incredibly kind, really nice and helpful—well done!!! I'll be back to try many more flavors of pizza, both round and sliced, and various desserts!

30/04/2026: I love this place—the simple, welcoming setting, the incredibly kind staff, and the excellent pizza. I went on Sunday with my boyfriend, and the gentleman who served us was incredibly nice. I had the chance to try both the pizza and the pizzone, and of the two, I recommend the pizzone to share. You can choose up to three flavors, and it's perfect for two people. Thanks so much, guys!
