Izzeria Focacceria Godipopolo In Tavarnelle val di pesa

We ordered special pizza but were shocked to be asked to pay 16€ for one pizza. The pizza itself was good.

We had the absolute best experience at Godipopolo during our stay in Tavernelle. From the very first visit, Godi made us feel so welcome and looked after. We arrived quite late as a large group of 11 people, yet she still accommodated us with such kindness, warmth, and generosity, which we really appreciated. The pizzas were honestly some of the best we had during our entire trip. Everything tasted incredibly authentic, fresh, and full of flavour, with so many great options to choose from. I ordered the Vegeteriana and the Parmagiana pizzas, and both were absolute standouts. The ingredients were fresh, the bases were perfect, and every bite was delicious. The experience was so good that throughout our week-long stay, we ended up ordering from Godipopolo more than anywhere else. Every single time, the food was consistently amazing and Godi was always friendly, welcoming, and accommodating no matter how busy things were. It became one of the highlights of our trip and truly felt like a local gem. Amazing food, fantastic service, and such a warm atmosphere. Easily the best restaurant we visited in the area and I genuinely cannot recommend it highly enough.

It was my first time and I was really happy with this thin, crispy pizza with an excellent topping, the waiter was nice and kind, I must try it

Small place, but incredibly welcoming. They hosted us after a volleyball game and stayed open just for us until 1:00 AM. Personally, I don't like thin-crust pizza; I prefer it thicker, but I have to say the one I ate here was truly delicious. Mrs. Guri was very helpful, even making us appetizers even though we arrived around midnight and there were about 20 of us. She and her waiter are truly wonderful people. I can't say enough good things about this place, both for the quality of the food and the people who work there. Thanks for everything, we'll be back soon ❤️ (maybe not at midnight, hahaha 🤣)

A small pizzeria with great staff and a big smile on their faces, and excellent food. Everything is fresh, you can taste it and see it. Also worth trying is the North Indian dish. We'll definitely be back.
