30/05/2025: We were visiting Pisa. One evening we ate at Al Veccio Braciere. The restaurant was busy; there were no tourists; everyone was local except for us. The service was quick, friendly, and attentive. The food was very good. We ordered a variety of dishes, all of which arrived at the same time. (Pizza, meat, and pasta with seafood.) Reserving a table is recommended. When we're back in Pisa, we'll visit this restaurant, which is located just outside of Pisa, again.

20/05/2025: I ordered take-out for 9 people, between first and second courses, the first courses were decent but nothing exceptional, the second courses terrible, out of two grilled meats, a fillet and a pork steak, everything was thrown away, pork steak rare (never seen pork rare) a fillet cooked rare, which I doubt was a badly cut fillet (nut or rump), it was full of tendons, tough and inedible, all the meats tasted old and smoked, I will never go back there again, even if the very polite boy who I called back to inform him of the facts apologized and offered me a free dinner.

25/06/2025: I'll start by saying that I'm an HR MANAGER. That said, I'm completely disappointed by the lack of professionalism and education in treating a colleague! The table next to ours was freed up and while the lady was already clearing it, she approached her and said, "What do you do for 4?" The lady politely replied, "OK," and the girl countered by saying, "Quick, move!" Now... I understand everything, but this "move quickly" is not said first in front of customers and then secondly to a person older than her with that tone! I respect the HACCP regulations, her nails are too long to serve at the table!

20/06/2025: A very special nice restaurant on the ring behind the Amphitheater in Lucca. The service consists mainly of young, involved and friendly women and a single, equally motivated young man. Everything under the inspiring leadership of a somewhat older woman. Her positive way of managing the atmosphere on the terrace is clear. As soon as you arrive you immediately get a place you want and the menu. While looking you get a glass of prosecco, delicious even when it is very hot (33 degrees) The order came quickly and the food was delicious. It is very nice that you have real contact with the staff, without having to look for them all the time. That is what happens here. They are friendly and accessible. Really recommended and not very expensive. So definitely value for money.

Possibility to choose between real or thin pizza, good and cooked in a wood oven. Unfortunately I leave only two stars for the service because the waiters are a bit rude. Medium-low prices. Suitable place for group dinners. Large parking lot in front.

30/05/2025: Esperienza piacevolissima! Abbiamo mangiato in terrazza dove ci siamo goduti anche una bella vista sulla campagna del Chianti. Locale molto accogliente e curato, pizza molto buona ed il personale é stato gentile e attento. Da ripetere!

09/06/2025: Every time we come in August this restaurant is a fixed stop for us it is a guarantee and do not believe the negative reviews because the people are really mean and frustrated. Go and evaluate for yourself to believe, the guys in the dining room are super kind and even though they are always very busy they try to satisfy every request. The pizza is truly sublime and the cuisine is truly exceptional, finger-licking good. Nicco is a young guy who knows how to manage the dining room like a 30-year-old professional, he is very polite and patient. The girl in the dining room is very sunny. I recommend you book because it is always very full. Highly recommended!!!!! Good guys, keep it up👍 and don't pay attention to the frustrated phenomena who write mean things because you are truly the best!!!

08/06/2025: Let me start by saying that we were not the ones who commented on the quality or quantity of the food. Given the "keyboard lion" comment, here's what I should have said in front of all the other guests. Despite its small size, the place is decorated with objects placed somewhat at random, including two clocks not far away and one not even working, but these are details of little importance, they are tastes. We find the problem when you are abandoned to a practically useless service where the only one present in the room spends more time sitting at the register looking at the phone and smoking vape, rather than following the few customers in the room. I had to ask for post-fish wipes twice after 5 minutes had passed, after you had comfortably sat down again to do your own thing. The first page of the menu, but do we want to talk about it? A direct attack on the customer, right or not, you are the one who has to provide good service and people should want to come back to you. Not everyone may like this job, but no one deserves this attitude. On top of that, the two first courses we took were super greasy and more than the grated lemon over the pasta it looked like a field, in fact it was practically inedible. Furthermore, by booking on The Fork we expected pizza, which coincidentally, not indicated, is not available for lunch. I could continue but I have better things to do.. Good life to you
