22/10/2025: We've been frequenting this restaurant for years, even off-season, as it's one of the very few restaurants in a resort that's open year-round. The atmosphere is simple, but you can dine in the veranda overlooking the sea. Seafood cuisine features many traditional Neapolitan dishes. Last time, we enjoyed the warm seafood appetizer, the mussel soup (impossible not to mop up the sauce), and the seafood scialatielli, always exceptional. Our son dusted off the mixed fried squid, shrimp, and vegetables, crispy and not greasy. On other occasions, we've also enjoyed the pizzas, which I appreciated for their perfect thickness (a thick crust and a shallow center, but not too thin). The desserts are very good (in addition to the usual ones, there's also pastiera, babà, and often sfogliatelle). The service is always quick and friendly, even on busy nights. Competitive prices, excellent value.

01/01/2026: In one of Tuscany's most beautiful squares, a quaint restaurant with excellent dishes and generous portions, served with warmth and punctuality. Tables are available both inside and on the square in front of the Cathedral. Pizza is also available for lunch, but we didn't try it. They also have another restaurant a short distance away, "Cantina dei Tre Archi," which offers the same quality.

24/12/2025: From Livorno with a passion... Christmas Eve lunch with my family and my brother's teacher, who attends the Don Luigi community in Massa Marittima. A very welcoming place, beautifully decorated for the holidays, in the central square in front of the church. Exceptional cuisine and huge portions. Excellent waiter service, we spent €150 for seven of us... less than €20 each with appetizers, a first course, water, wine, and coffee. We'll definitely be back!!!!

02/02/2026: The three of us had a mini fried appetizer (ridiculous), two first courses, two second courses, and a bottle of €27 Montalcino red wine with a high markup, €108. The portions were tiny, but of good quality. The waiters were very kind, but the owners were rude. The prices were too high for the quantity offered.

01/01/2026: I'll start by saying that the food was very good, full-bodied, fresh raw fish. It's a shame because I can eat as well as I do today in so many places, but the service left much to be desired, and not only that, but also the extremely arrogant responses I received. Let's take it one step at a time. Arrival at around 12:20 PM. The order was taken at 12:45/50 PM, where we asked if the only dish The appetizer could arrive first (it wasn't raw). The lady began to explain the cooking times for the other courses, meticulously indicating that baked sea bass would require longer cooking times (20-30 minutes). Okay, no problem. The appetizer arrives at 1:30 PM... perhaps they went out on a boat and went directly to fish for the fresh fish. We waited a bit and asked for the other courses, seeing as we had already reached the waiting time. The answers don't come, but they're like "I can hear the kitchen now." The dishes arrive at 2:20 PM, even one course was wrong (but no big deal). We complain at the cashier about the wait and are told it was our fault for wanting the order a certain way (an early appetizer and first and second courses together). And that they had already apologized (which isn't entirely true. The lady apologized only for not having warned us). Beyond that, they couldn't do anything else, and they decide to offer coffees (that's fine, let's leave it at that). They ask us to pay €270 instead of €278... it's a shame the coffees cost €15. It's not so much the €7 extra, but the mockery and arrogance with which the lady at the cashier, Mora, looks at me and says, "What do you want, a free lunch?" "We all have positive reviews." Very good, I'm happy with your reviews and the good food. I'm definitely going to spend my money elsewhere, since you've made me realize you don't need new customers. 24/10/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant. The spaghetti allo scoglio is truly delicious, and the Medina desserts are fabulous. I absolutely recommend them.

04/09/2025: We went to this place for fish, because we'd been advised it was very good, plentiful, and reasonably priced... But in our case, that wasn't quite the case. We had two regular salads for €6 each, but I can assure you it was just a handful of salad, although good because it contained garden produce, but the quantity was really small. We then had two spaghetti allo scoglio, with only one peeled shrimp, five or six shellfish to clean, good but not enough, and finally the spaghetti was really small, about 50g. To finish, we had a dessert: custard with a few berries, obviously, served in a small bowl, and only a bottle of still water. So, to sum up: Salad €6 x 2px Spaghetti with seafood €16 x 2px Still water €3 Dessert €6 Coupon €3 x 2px TOTAL €59 In conclusion, we woke up hungry, so we wouldn't recommend it. Total €57

30/12/2025: We went to this restaurant thanks to the recommendation of our hotel and were truly satisfied. From the service to the food, everything was excellent. As soon as we arrived, Sara gave my girls a chalkboard each, which they spent the entire evening playing with. Sara and Gaia, the wait staff, were also very kind and attentive to our every need. The products used in the kitchen are top-quality, and the respect for these ingredients and the care taken in their preparation were evident in every dish we ate. I highly recommend it and thank all the staff at Il Talismano for a delightful evening.

08/12/2025: Dated hotel, spacious rooms, let's say it needs a renovation, especially the bathroom and the drafty windows... but I have to say that the friendly nature of the titles is wonderful and overshadows everything else. As for the restaurant, the food is wonderful, good breakfast, fabulous cakes. Excellent location. If we're in the area, we will definitely return.

30/12/2025: Our favorite "canteen" in Florence! Throughout our stay, this restaurant became our go-to spot. Located practically steps from our hotel, we dined there almost every night, allowing us to sample a large part of the menu. It's a reliable, welcoming place with consistently high quality. What we loved: - The Pizzas: Absolutely excellent with a thin and perfectly crispy crust. The pizza with fresh burrata and arugula is a pure delight, visually stunning and very generous. The classic Margherita and the mushroom and ham pizza are equally delicious. - The Pastas: Authentic cuisine. We particularly recommend the ravioli with ragù (meat sauce), which are flavorful and comforting, as well as the simple yet perfectly executed spaghetti. - The Desserts: Don't leave without trying the panna cotta with red berries for a refreshing touch. The sweet chocolate pastry is also a delightful surprise. (Tip: avoid the tiramisu; the sponge isn't soaked enough and the cream isn't set...) The setting is typical of an Italian trattoria with its exposed beams and open kitchen where you can watch the chef working at the pizza oven and rotisserie. The welcome is always friendly, even when the restaurant is full. In short: Whether for a quick pizza or a full dinner, La Piazzetta is a sure bet in Florence. Unbeatable value for money in the neighborhood!
