30/12/2025: We went to this restaurant thanks to the recommendation of our hotel and were truly satisfied. From the service to the food, everything was excellent. As soon as we arrived, Sara gave my girls a chalkboard each, which they spent the entire evening playing with. Sara and Gaia, the wait staff, were also very kind and attentive to our every need. The products used in the kitchen are top-quality, and the respect for these ingredients and the care taken in their preparation were evident in every dish we ate. I highly recommend it and thank all the staff at Il Talismano for a delightful evening.

21/12/2025: We've been to this restaurant three times, but this time we were disappointed. We ordered a bottle of Valpolicella Classico 2017 for €55, which was served to us already in a decanter, with the bottle empty and open, without showing us the label. A decanter should only be brought upon request, not to be sneaky with an already empty bottle. We politely asked for the bottle to be opened in front of us, and the staff corrected the procedure, but this deception has convinced us not to return. A restaurant should always respect proper wine service procedures.

12/10/2025: We organized a "reinforced" aperitivo at Antista after our son's graduation; there were about 25 of us. Good pizza, excellent cecina and focaccia; spritz and prosecco for everyone. Fair prices, helpful and friendly owners.

25/09/2025: This morning I stumbled upon this bar and pizzeria and went in. I must say I was amazed by the courtesy of the staff. I had a coffee, a cappuccino, and a really good focaccia with brie and zucchini. I compliment the owner. I come from far away, but everything was excellent, including the courtesy.

09/01/2026: Located on a side street in the center of Orbetello, this place serves truly tasty, light pizza. A must-try.

26/12/2025: Christmas lunch set menu. Everything was excellent, from appetizer to dessert. The staff were knowledgeable and extremely friendly, the service was prompt, and the place was spotless. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

26/12/2025: Update December 2025: We celebrated Christmas here with our family. Service was excellent, and the food was excellent. Three seafood appetizers (see photo) cost €60 (paccheri with cherry tomatoes, scampi, clams, and lupini beans), mixed fried fish with anchovies and fried vegetables, and panettone with cream, water, wine, and coffee. It was sold out. Update 2025: Everything is always great at La Casina! --- We're regulars at this restaurant, and I can say it's an extremely good restaurant, especially for the price. The dishes are good and plentiful, and there's no cover charge. I recommend the tagliolini with lobster, the seafood sauté, and the cacciucco (fish stew). Located in the Viareggio pine forest, 200 meters from the sea, it offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with air conditioning. During high season, it's better to reach it by bike than by car due to the lack of parking in the area (free parking nearby from 1-3 PM and after 8 PM). They often offer a free after-dinner drink at the end of the meal. - August 2023. This year too, we've been to the local restaurant a couple of times, always top-notch. The seafood is good and plentiful, and there's a fixed-price menu available (4 appetizers, 2 first courses, fried food, and water, plus wine). The staff is friendly and helpful, and there's a wide variety of "ammazza caffè" (afternoon tea) for those like me who don't get the usual "amaro del Capo" (a bitter liqueur). Don't be put off by anyone who complains about slow service. The staff is always busy, but when there's a lot of people, you might have to wait, but that means you'll eat well!

07/09/2025: We found it by chance on our way back from a weekend in Orvieto. We ordered the mixed crostini, tagliatelle with rabbit ragù and crème brulee. The food was homemade and delicious, and I'd definitely return. The service was neither excellent nor infamous.

06/09/2025: It's a great idea to get off the highway and eat here instead of at a rest stop. It's a small place, but perfect for a quick stop and some typical dishes without breaking the bank.

11/12/2025: We discovered this small but very welcoming restaurant by chance. The service from the waiters was perfect and welcoming. For food, we opted for some truly excellent pizzas, delicious fagioli all'uccelletto, and a mushroom stew that melted in your mouth. I recommend everyone to stop by.
