In contrast to other pizzerias in the area, English is hardly spoken here, the young ladies sometimes don't seem very enthusiastic when the order is not made in fluent Italian and the payment, for which - typically German - we don't simply put the total amount through Not only wanted to share the number of people, but also wanted to calculate exactly which family had which food, it turned out to be a little complicated for the innkeeper. Otherwise, we were super satisfied and all the children who were there were happy about the playground that was available, so that the adults could sit and relax for a few minutes longer.

06/08/2024: Una volta da bambino mi scottai con il fuoco e da allora ne ho sempre timore. Così è successo con questo ristorante, andai una volta circa vent'anni fa, e rimasi talmente deluso che da allora non sono mai più ritornato. Sino a che una fatale circostanza mi ha riportato in questo ristorante gestito dal Sig. Giuliano da circa nove anni. Area parcheggio gratuita, accessibile in sedia a rotelle e per chi ha cani sono ben accetti. Vi dico subito che la location è qualcosa di spettacolare, ai limiti del paradisiaco, immersa in una collinetta che ha un fronte nel sottobosco e un fronte in prato inglese. Direte voi, ma anche vent'anni fa era così… No di certo, due decenni possono cambiare sia la morfologia del terreno, che la sua urbanizzazione. Ma la vera novità ovviamente è la ricerca del cibo sempre fresco con pietanze realizzate da ingredienti genuini che da nove anni vengono servite ai clienti, come le alici fritte su letto di cipolle caramellate (a mio giudizio sono da dieci e lode), oppure le Chicche A.O.P. gamberi e bottarga, oppure i paccheri freschi alla siciliana con del baccalà raffinato da veri intenditori, oppure la burrata fritta su pesto di pomodorini secchi e acciughe, per non parlare del tagliolino con datterino giallo tonno e ricotta salata che vi regala emozioni al palato indimenticabili. Lo stesso dicasi per le pietanze di terra territoriali, come il gran tagliere o la tagliata di manzo o il filetto al pepe verde, per non parlare delle patate arrosto a km zero coltivate dalla famiglia. Passiamo ai dolci, al fotofinish vince la crostata al tiramisù, tutti gli altri secondi a pari merito. Un complimento particolare alla giovanissima Chef che può solo migliorare, e allo staff altrettanto giovane, gentile ed efficiente (dimenticavo…. anche la pizza non è da meno).

23/08/2024: Excellent food quality. We tried all kinds of dishes, seafood, meat and pizza and all were very tasty and well cooked. Very reasonable prices. Nice sweets and impeccable service from the staff, who were all Italian and very kind. We were in the area for a week and since we discovered it, we haven't gone anywhere else. Recommended. The only thing I would like to suggest is that they had fans outside for the hot days.

22/08/2024: Got takeaway. Terrible food, stringy fried fish (of which I attach photos), Seafood salad that tasted like fish from the day before (definitely NOT FRESH) the quality is definitely not worth the price you spend.

However, the wait for four pizzas was truly excessive: we arrived at eight when the restaurant was almost empty and we had to wait an hour! Fair prices. Too bad that something in the organization needs to be reviewed!

10/08/2024: A delicious pizza with friendly and professional staff. Large internal and external space. Possibility to also place telephone orders. To be recommended! I returned after the last review and I must say that they have improved further. I tasted a classic Tuscan menu with very good and abundant mixed starters, an excellent pasta with porcini mushrooms and truly exceptional truffle, and a sliced ​​beef with lard, pine nuts and a cap of porcini mushrooms that was out of this world. The owner and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Efficient cleaning and hygiene done in front of the customer is truly a very good presentation. The place was beautiful and the menu, in addition to being delicious, was very abundant. Compliments! Considered the absolute best!

01/09/2024: Nice place inside, the veranda outside is small and cute but the platform on which the tables are located must absolutely be removed, the chairs flush with the platform 10 or more centimeters high are dangerous, if you don't remember and push the chair behind there is the empty. Very good and digestible pizza but really high prices, a real Margherita translated into simple bufalina €12.50, and it is one of those that still cost little. I recommend the place but be careful that the prices are higher than normal and the times are a bit long.

31/08/2024: After a few years of absence, close to a holiday in Naples, I returned to this place that I have frequented since childhood: Beautiful evening, pizzas in my opinion well made (for consumers reading, keep in mind that the place follows the Neapolitan tradition), quality ingredients, competent and smart staff and owner, excellent bitters. Overall, only positive things to say, really satisfied! :)

02/09/2024: At that time: Overall good food, perfect pizzas, very good first and second courses. BAD service. there were 8 of us, first they take all the orders, then they tell us that we couldn't all have different first courses since the kitchen is small and with only one chef, so, in order not to wait forever, we have to change the orders. (There's no point in having a varied menu if I can't order what I want!!!) My daughter gets first and second TOGETHER, when I resent it I am told that it is not possible to return the dish, because the kitchen was now closed (when it happened it was 9.35pm). Mixed fried food: on the menu it says rings and tufts of squid and pink prawns....the dish was made up of ONLY fried sardines (which by the way were not even among the frying ingredients). At least they didn't pay for that one by apologizing for what happened. Too bad, the food is good.... maybe we just caught the unprofessional waitress, in any case we won't set foot there again. Honest account.

24/08/2024: The pizzas are good. Especially the special ones. Cowardly pizza is unsurpassed. First and second courses are also good although, personally, I prefer pizza. Staff really friendly, courteous and always available. Excellent outdoor location. Immersed in the greenery of the tennis club. In summer it is a good solution to enjoy some fresh air and enjoy food in company. Ample parking without limitations. Online prices. We will be back.
