24/08/2026: It was a nice place to eat, it was cheap, the food was good, and you were more than satisfied with the quality/price ratio. Notice the verb tense; I'm talking about the past tense (the last time I was there was three years ago, and it was already worse than before Covid). It's okay that everything is going up in price, but the place has remained the same, and with the prices it has now, it's better to avoid it and, for the same amount, look for much better restaurants. The food is okay, but the place isn't great, and the service is not at all attentive, let alone courteous.
24/08/2026: Found on the way back to Rome, a wonderful surprise. The pappardelle with wild boar and Chianina beef ragù were truly excellent. The sauce was incredibly smooth, not overly salty, and spectacular. Friendly service, excellent value. Well done!

08/08/2026: An authentic mom and dad restaurant. An older couple who run the restaurant. It's clear that time has stood still there. We ordered a calzone without pork and they added a nice amount of mozzarella. The dough was amazing and the combination with the mozzarella was perfect. They cook in the old style and it was an excellent dish. Highly recommended! The locals know and appreciate the quality of the food.
They accept credit cards.
17/07/2026: Not to my taste at all. The pasta was clearly way too salty. What a shame.

07/08/2026: The place is very busy, it is worth booking in advance. We didn't have a reservation, so we got a seat in the front. Service was fast. Food and drink menu pairing was great.
06/08/2026: Reviews can be misleading!! We booked a table, specifically choosing the inside room because we were told it was air-conditioned. However, when we arrived, the table we booked wasn't available, and we were placed in a smaller room completely devoid of air conditioning. Furthermore, it was very disappointing to discover, upon payment, that the cover charge was €4 per person! The quickly set table was visibly dirty, and there was only a napkin, cutlery, and a glass. You might like the pizza, but let's not call it pizza, please; the more appropriate term is cracker, as it's so thin and toasty!

04/08/2026: There were four of us and they made room for us on the terrace, even though it was full. Very friendly, good service. The pizzas and calzones are average. It was August and it was very hot inside. Very good price.

08/08/2026: Great seafood dishes. Very good pizza and desserts. Not to mention the wines that paired well with the dishes. The place has a unique atmosphere; you can choose a table by the park or inside, which is air-conditioned. The service was very good and helpful. Greetings from the lady from Poland ;). We recommend it.

19/05/2026: We walk around Lucca looking for busy restaurants which we hope is a good sign. We had a very simple but delicious meal starting with a complimentary Prosecco. I saw Pici so we had to try it. Fresh with a delicious sauce. The spinach was delicious as well. Great service with a smile.
18/05/2026: I ate there when I was at the summer camp. It was a lifesaver, the hotel food was awful, and when we went to eat there it was like a miracle. The food was delicious, especially the lemon sorbet.

16/12/2025: Beautiful and well-kept place, we can eat inside and outside, beautiful terrace from which you can see the landscape, excellent place to eat Tuscan food, very good appetizers and very good first and second courses, typical meat and fish dishes, very kind and professional both the staff and the owner as soon as you arrive to order, the staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home and satisfy your requests, clean restrooms, good prices, large parking lot, that's why I gave it 4 stars, I recommend trying the pizzas and the tagliolini with lobster, they are finger-licking good, and the Cinta Senese pork loin with fried patent and fried porcini mushrooms 😋😋😀

07/06/2026: Professionalism, kindness, care, and excellent ingredients all contribute to making you never leave this place. Katia and Patrizio's kindness and helpfulness make it even more highly recommended and unique.
On the recommendation of a friend, we went to this elegant and modern bistro; it was our first time. We ordered a platter for six and some very good fried food. We also ordered excellent Lazio wines. The wine selection is excellent and extensive. The desserts are also delicious.
We had a wonderful time.
