17/07/2026: The place isn't very clean; they don't change the tablecloths, just the paper tablecloths. The owner and the waiters serve tables dripping with sweat, wearing sweat-soaked shirts and the owner's shirt.
The pizza looks like a burnt cardboard disc, even with a little topping, and isn't leavened.
We ordered a lemon sorbet, which arrived melted and hot, and a vin santo that had nothing holy about it, nor even wine!
Never again!!!
12/07/2026: A must every year on our holiday. Spontaneous, without a reservation, and once again absolutely delicious!

20/07/2026: We went there for dinner one evening and had a great meal. The location is a classic bar, but it serves excellent pici and tagliata... The price is really interesting. If you're not looking for gourmet food but good old-fashioned picio all'aglione, it's a place worth considering... We'll return if we're in the area.

04/08/2026: There were four of us and they made room for us on the terrace, even though it was full. Very friendly, good service. The pizzas and calzones are average. It was August and it was very hot inside. Very good price.

08/08/2026: We were a bit torn in between. The food, for instance, the cheese plate was really good and the meat and meals were delicious (and the Primi meals quite big). On the other hand, the salade was only okay and we were disappointed by the Service. It felt stressed and rushed, things came too late and we often felt misunderstood or sold on. Maybe It was due to the language barrier, but that really decreased our experience. Also, the music did not really fit the nice atmosphere on the terrasse.
Therefore, overall food was mostly good but service could be improved on many ends.

19/05/2026: We walk around Lucca looking for busy restaurants which we hope is a good sign. We had a very simple but delicious meal starting with a complimentary Prosecco. I saw Pici so we had to try it. Fresh with a delicious sauce. The spinach was delicious as well. Great service with a smile.
18/05/2026: I ate there when I was at the summer camp. It was a lifesaver, the hotel food was awful, and when we went to eat there it was like a miracle. The food was delicious, especially the lemon sorbet.

18/03/2026: I usually come to this restaurant for fish. Personally, I think it's the best in the area. The mixed antipasto is noteworthy. The wine list is well-structured. Last time, I also tried an excellent rum paired with dark chocolate.
