14/08/2025: In our opinion, they have the best pizza in all of Viareggio, and they also have very delicious wine 👍 But please note, they only serve pizza, no pasta or salad! However, the pizzas are absolutely top-notch 😎 and the owner always has a witty remark ready 👄
06/07/2025: I think this is one of the best pizzas ever, the toppings are very generous too, the pizza chef definitely knows what he's doing. Very nice and friendly place, I definitely recommend it. They're very much worth it, see you next time!

20/04/2026: Went with friends for a nice local pizza, nice waiter, kind and attentive to our requests, unfortunately raw pizza with completely unleavened dough, I'll let you imagine what a night it was.
19/04/2026: We were a table of 10; we had major issues with orders, waited a very long time, and all ate at different times. The pizzas were very good, as were the first courses, but everything else was very poor: the tartare and tagliata were tough, the risotto completely overcooked and tasteless, and the salmon was dry. The head waiter was kind and aware of the inconvenience, but the second waitress was extremely rude and responded to me in a very impolite manner.

23/03/2026: Welcoming restaurant, very friendly staff. We ordered a Tuscan miato appetizer for 5 and the pizzas, which were generously sized and had plenty of toppings. I'll be back to try the food as well.

29/03/2026: The place overlooking the cathedral is beautiful, but they don't close their doors even in winter, so breakfast was a good idea, even with a jacket on. Three cappuccinos and three croissants for €27...we definitely paid for the cathedral's restoration!
27/03/2026: At Brunelleschi Bistrot the food was excellent, wine and grappa also bring the Italian flavour very well together. Staff friendly and welcoming. Prices are decent and the view of Duomo make the italian atmosphere the most memorable.

14/04/2026: The restaurant was absolutely beautiful but we couldn’t get over the quality of the service. We were greeted by a nice man, but after the initial greeting the service we received was abysmal. We were thrown by the sight of our waitress sneezing straight into her palm multiple times, and immediately handling food without washing her hands. We were nothing but kind to the staff but in return we were met with undkindness. We couldn’t finish our requests before the waiter dismissed us, and as we were requesting for the bill, the waiter visibly rolled his eyes and huffed. There wasn’t even a rush. We hope that in the future the service’s quality would be better, since the restaurant experience would’ve been good otherwise.
09/04/2026: Nerone is a place with a unique soul. The decor is unique and creates a magical, unconventional atmosphere. The food is exceptionally good, both the cuisine and the pizza, and the value is fair. I'm holding back five stars only because of a few minor flaws in the service and attention to detail, but it's still a highly recommended place for anyone looking for a different kind of evening. A truly worthwhile experience!

14/04/2026: If you're looking for substance and fresh fish, this is the place. We had simply delicious grilled fish, seasoned only with excellent olive oil and lemon. Generous portions, especially the mussel soup, which was incredibly flavorful. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming.
The staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

13/04/2026: Superlative!! An exceptional culinary experience. Dishes prepared with care and refinement... fantastic on the palate. Top-notch wine cellar. Daniele was super welcoming and very attentive to detail. A total of 10!
10/04/2026: This was one of the best meals we had in Tuscany. It was prepared with passion, the menu is a work of art an the service was professional yet personable. The two things that puzzled us where how this place does not have a Michelin star and why it was not packed with people. The reason for the latter is probaly that it is located in a very nice, but sleepy village and people simply do not know about it. Which in a way made it even more special.

04/04/2026: We went there for dinner last night, almost by chance. We returned to our accommodation full and satisfied, and we promised ourselves we'd return, maybe even to a hotel. Delicious food, friendly staff, and a fair price. That's all we need.
If only everyone were like this...
