Cheap, but all authentic, flavors just as I remembered them. Well done I ate a super 5+5

I often pass through Livorno...for me it's a new discovery...the owner is very kind and the cake is worth it...plus you can also eat sitting down...recommended

I came here as a stranger to try the sacred *chickpea cake*, which I quickly learned isn't called "cecina" because otherwise you'd be looked at askance at first sip. The product? Nothing to complain about: a sandwich with chickpea cake, eggplant, and spicy sauce... serious stuff, enough to stick to the counter and never speak to anyone again. The rest of the experience, however, was a crash course in applied Livorno-ness. I asked for information and felt like I'd stumbled into an ancient ritual where even the question is considered a personal insult. Quick, rude responses in dialect, looks that said, "Where did this guy escape from?" I was there, in bewildered tourist mode, trying to keep my balance. In the end, though, I left: the food was excellent, the sandwich was devastating, and I was very satisfied. The atmosphere at the cashier was more human, almost like "OK, come on, we'll forgive him." Moral: the food was 10/10, no question. The welcome was 2/10, but with such a strong character that it almost became a theatrical spectacle. Would I go back? Yes. But next time I'll go in mentally prepared and without asking too many questions... which in Livorno, evidently, is asking too much!

The best 5&5 I've ever seen. It's impossible to come to Livorno and not stay here!

The 5e5 here is also really good, so much so that I ate three here alone in three days. Although I must say, the first one I ate was served in the evening in a French oven that wasn't exactly fresh. But it was still really good. The pizzas are a little less impressive, but I'd still give it 5 stars because of the 5e5 I ate the following days.

It's the Seghieri that has always been, the pizza is his, the cake is his and it's as good as when we went to school there. I gave the atmosphere 3 stars only out of honesty and to remain objective, not because it was relevant to me.

If you're looking for the authentic you have to stop here.

Spartan and authentic. Delicious food. Friendly and friendly staff. 5&5 is out of this world.
