15/06/2026: We had a wonderful experience at I Fighi delle Stelle on Giudecca Island in Venice. The location is perfect: peaceful, beautiful, and away from the crowded tourist areas. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, which made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. We ordered the squid ink pasta and seafood pasta, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The seafood was fresh, the flavors were authentic, and everything was cooked perfectly. The overall quality of the food, service, and atmosphere was excellent. If you’re looking for a genuine and relaxing dining experience in Venice, this restaurant is highly recommended!!!

13/06/2026: The service is far from great, a sprizz without prosecco... Just the view is great, but I wouldn't return. There are other places just a few meters away with real proper service.

18/05/2026: OMG!!!!! what a find and only 1block across from where we stayed. Sorry we didn’t find it earlier but the rule of thumb never go to same place twice, so lucky it was our last night. Seafood Spaghetti was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend a visit. Staff were great and despite us with basically no italian we had a wonderful experience and a good laugh. Definitely do yourself a favour and experience at least one meal here!!!

The location is in a very quiet area of ​​the island, the service is perfect, the waiters speak several languages, the food is served with care and style, and the cuisine is amazing. The price per person is approximately €50-60, wine not included. It's worth it!

06/07/2026: Great menu - including a full vegan menu for my partner. The food was very rich, it was delicious. The servers were all very friendly and attentive. I tried something a tad different which turned my entire tongue black. Cuttlefish covers in ink with some polenta. I would say some cherry tomatoes would complete the dish but interesting and tasty anyway. My partner loved her beetroot risotto. There was also unlimited bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar which is great but given the menu I would recommend going easy on the bread.

16/07/2026: My friend was told to go home and change because he wasn’t wearing long sleeves. He wasn’t even in the restaurant yet, he was in the adjoining bar at the hotel. He explained he was with a dinner party for a birthday and they told him he wasn’t allowed in. This was absurd because there was a family sitting behind us with all the children wearing graphic tshirts and very casual street wear. The kids were also running around their table, playing and screaming, and had tablets and iPads out on the table. They seemed to be given special treatment. There was another couple next to us with a guy wearing a backwards hat. The double standard was ridiculous and discriminatory. And because of the delay we had to wait 25 mins to order for my friend to return from his hotel, and then it was too late to do the chefs tasting because it was 9min past their last call. Would we have been seated on time, then there would not have been an issue. Additionally, they forgot someone’s after dinner cocktail and when I asked for it and then they brought out the wrong drink for my friendand then also ordered me one because I was the one who asked the waiter about the missing drink so essentially we were charged for 2 drinks,1 that we didn’t order and the other that was the wrong drink. We were also waiting around for the check after we had asked for it after the drink dilemma, and they came over and told us we needed to leave and that the restaurant was closing and we responded that we had been waiting for the check. And the same family behind us was the only table still in the restaurant and they were not asked to leave or given their check after we walked out. For the amount of money we spent on that dinner, the service and treatment was atrocious. Venice is known for having hatred towards tourists and it definitely showed. Mind you, this was my birthday dinner and it was my least favorite meal of the whole trip. I also only booked this restaurant for sitting on the terrace. I understood it was weather permitting. It rained between 630-8 and our reservation was at 9 and we were not permitted to be seated outside, nor informed that we were being relocated inside. Which was a specific request I had to asked because I wanted the ambiance of the grand canal.

07/07/2026: It was truly a journey of culinary art. I highly recommend visiting this place. In my opinion, it's the only one that serves diners only local, locally sourced fish. The quality and price are modest. Congratulations to the management.

30/06/2026: A genuine family restaurant that may not look like much to the outside world, but which has a lovely atmosphere, fantastic service, incredibly tasty and affordable food with a quality that usually costs much more. Also good wines and every other form of drink you can think of. The only problem is that it is located 1407 kilometers from home.
