11/06/2026: A beautiful and unique place! They have delicious coffee and even better panna cotta. There's a beautiful and well-kept mini garden at the back of the restaurant. Kudos to the helpful and kind waitress, Rajaa.

08/06/2026: Great food and service at this restaurant. We researched lots of restaurants in Venice as well as having a very bad experience the night before at one that was obviously out preying on tourists (Trattoria le Colonete -Don’’t go there!!). We couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough for the food, ambience and service. Rajaa and Dudo gave us exceptional service. Thank you for making our trip to Venice even more special! 😊

30/07/2026: I'm not a great expert on Apulian cuisine. The pastas look good, but we had the pizzas and we weren't happy. It didn't taste like real pizza, it's definitely not Neapolitan pizza. Maybe another way of making it wouldn't have worked very well, though. The staff wasn't very friendly either, and a bit clumsy.

30/07/2026: Three different meals were picked up on two separate days without pre-ordering from a restaurant/pizzeria directly on the Lido beach promenade. Despite the restaurant being packed, the food was prepared quickly and deliciously by a full team. They offer a seasonal menu for tourists, with some items translated into English and German. The restaurant is also popular with locals year-round. The experienced staff was attentive and friendly to guests of all ages. During the summer months, Vent1 e Trenta is open from 12:00 PM for three hours and then again from 6:00 PM for five hours. In the shoulder seasons, they offer evening hours. There is a very limited number of tables outside, and during peak times, they also use the slightly larger indoor seating area. Due to the often large number of customers, reservations were not accepted. To tide the beachgoers over before they got hungry for their Italian-style meal, they were treated to a free bruschetta (Italian pronunciation: la brusketta) with white bread and spicy oil as a personal greeting from the kitchen!

02/05/2026: We were there yesterday, May 1st. I booked after seeing the reviews here. The atmosphere was wonderful and relaxing; despite the crowd, there was no sense of stress from the service. Excellent food. Everything we ate was excellent. The service was top-notch. The staff was super efficient, very kind and helpful, even with my furry friend. My heartfelt congratulations. Thank you for your hospitality. We'll be back.

13/07/2026: Remarkably average—at least by North American standards. Given Italy’s exceptional dining scene and the high bar set by many local osterias, Osteria da Toni ultimately felt underwhelming. The restaurant offers decent value for money, but that’s where its strengths largely end. The carbonara was serviceable without being memorable, the house wine was fairly ordinary, and the atmosphere lacked the warmth and character that make so many Venetian restaurants stand out. In a city filled with outstanding dining options, Osteria da Toni wouldn’t be my first recommendation, though it certainly wouldn’t be my last choice either. On a positive note, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided attentive service throughout the meal.

02/06/2026: A typical Venetian trattoria offering all the traditional dishes with quality and kindness! The best creamed cod I've had in Venice! (I've tried it in every restaurant I've been to) the bigoli in salsa were spectacular, with a unique flavor! The recommended wine was excellent, and the waiter's kindness in finding alternatives for a vegan guest was a real plus! Plus, there's a beautiful internal garden with a perfect atmosphere on these warm evenings... Highly recommended! The price is in line with what's on offer! I'd go back in a heartbeat!

21/07/2026: Unfortunately, this restaurant is overrated; the food was only average, and the service was unmotivated. The waterfront location is beautiful, but unfortunately, it was very crowded. It doesn't live up to the expectations of a 4.7 rating on Google.

15/07/2026: Fantastic food and excellent service. What's more, when you add the charming setting, the experience becomes unique. The restaurant stands out for its uniqueness, despite its location in a touristy area. We'll definitely be back.

28/06/2026: My husband made the reservation, and we visited the restaurant. The staff's heartfelt hospitality was impressive, but the food was even more amazing. We were full quickly, so for dessert I chose the crème brûlée, which was also exquisite. This is a restaurant I definitely want to visit again if I ever come back to Venice.

16/07/2026: I loved everything! The location was excellent, besides being close to everything, our hotel was right across the street. Roman served us, and his service was excellent, superb, and super friendly! He even spoiled us... I had a risotto mare, my friend had spaghetti mare, and to finish, a beautiful tiramisu. If I ever return to Venice, I will definitely come back here. ******* stars
