31/08/2024: The four of us were only there at lunchtime to have a drink, which was possible without any problems. We booked a table for the evening and spent wonderful hours there. Very attentive service, excellent food and very good value for money. At the end we were greeted with a handshake like old friends. Highly recommended.

21/08/2024: Was welcomed and seated very quickly. We chose to sit inside due to the heat outside, so was accomodated with the air conditioning as the humidity was blasting. Back to the food.... ordered the steak peppercorn and was cooked to perfection and delicious... ginoshed every bit of it. If your there id recommend thebdessert menu... I had the apple pie... 😉

20/08/2024: Cozy atmosphere. Service is nice, people seem down to earth and friendly. We tried the lasagne, sea bass, spaghetti carbonara & spaghetti vongole. First time trying the vongole and it was my favorite! Sea bass was also good. The carbonara was ok. The lasagna I'd personally not recommend, nothing special at all (a little disappointing even). I guess the seafood is the star of the show at this place!

20/08/2024: I really love authentic Italian food. But this was disappointing. I ordered the squid ink pasta and salad. The salad was not fresh. The tomatoes were old. The food was very bland. I went there after reading good reviews, so unfortunately this was disappointing experience. The service is really nice though, the waitress was very lovely. Edit: I added the balsamic to give a bit of flavour but the tomatoes were not fresh. The pasta was flavourless. Based on the reviews it may not be common but it certainly is possible. It would be awesome to see restaurants take more ownership.

03/08/2024: Locale molto bello anche il cibo era buono non abbiamo speso neanche tantissimo per quelli che sono i prezzi degli altri locali (abbiamo preso 1 portata a testa in 3+una panna cotta e un tiramisù) e abbiamo speso 88€ Ve lo consiglio molto!!!

27/08/2024: Just delightful- there are a few tables outside by a quiet canal so you are away from the crowds. The food is inventive and beautifully prepared. The staff were kind. If you want wines by the glass, just ask them and they’ll help you choose good pairings- they aren’t listed on the menu. I had zucchini flowers stuffed with a fish/potato concoction and fried which were a different twist on the usual and very good. Also squid ink spaghetti- love those! Again, creative and yummy. Can’t wait to go again- hard to find good food and a pleasant setting in a tourist place like Venice. Recommend reserving which you can do through their website.

26/08/2024: The food was great, a bit more expensive that the two "€€" here would make you think, but not crazy (we paid ~40€ pax) . The location we really enjoyed since the tables outside are right near a canal with almost no traffic (of boats or people) and in the shade. Service was good too :)

24/08/2024: This was honestly one of the best hotel experiences of my life. As a Hyatt member, I almost canceled after the organization ended its affiliation with Small Luxury Hotels, but I’m so glad I didn’t. This is the quintessential Venetian experience, and you will receive 5-star service, guaranteed. The room is truly exceptional—plush mattress, completely marble en suite, Venetian design elements throughout. The staff is so kind and helpful. We called ahead because we were arriving late, and the reception turned on our a/c to ensure the room was nice and cool when my partner and me arrived. Then, he helped bring our bags directly to our room. Staff offered plenty of insider tips on sightseeing and shared personal anecdotes about Venetian life during conversation. Hotel management also noticed it was my birthday upon check-in and had a bottle of Prosecco waiting with a handwritten note. So kind! The included breakfast is wonderful, and the on-site restaurant is astounding! I will be writing a separate review for this, but please do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a scrumptious, Michelin-reviewed meal. Location is perfect. A quick walk to all of the main sights of Venice. Location may be a bit tricky for folks with disabilities, though, as there is one bridge that you must take to get to/from the hotel to the key sights; however, I’m sure the hotel would be happy to offer some advice and tips. Definitely recommend utilizing a private water taxi to/from the airport. If you’re traveling by train, the Rialto vaportetto station is a very quick and easy walk to the hotel, with just one bridge crossing (not bad for Venice!) I was so sad to leave!!!! Stay here, please! It’ll be a highlight of your trip.

21/07/2024: Our tour guide from a previous evening recommended this restaurant, great little place on a quiet canal. We sat outside, mostly seafood dishes which were all excellent. My son wanted something with meat and they accommodated us with a meat sauce for his pasta.

12/07/2024: Good food, good quality and well cooked. Good service, well-prepared guy, slightly awkward, but "he fits", he's young. Nice atmosphere but needs refreshing...

30/07/2024: On the recommendation of the very friendly innkeeper, we had the mixed seafood starter platter and then Gnocchi alla Putanesca. Both shared by two people, which wasn't a problem at all. The world's best tiramisu and mandarin sorbet for dessert. Everything excellent!! Ambiance so nice and quiet right on a canal, just two parallel streets from Via Garibaldi. You have to want to go here to find it. And actually you shouldn't rate it at all, so that nothing but nothing changes here! Liquorizza as a digestive a new discovery for us...

09/08/2024: Our best experience of a traditional italian restaurant on our trip so far. Firstly, we were not haggled into the restaurant. The staff were happy, helpful, and attentive. The menu was fairly limited, but I feel that's good as chef can concentrate on quality. There was a specials menu in addition. There was a cover charge, but this seems fairly standard in Italy. The cover charge was worth it for the breads, nibbles, oil and balsamic vinegar. The food was delicious! Meals averged around 22 euro some more/less, but it's a tourist area so pretty standard pricing. The Tiramisu was amazing! All in all, it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely go back... and I'm sure we will tomorrow! 😂

08/08/2024: Even though we just wanted a drink, we got a table outside. The waiter was very nice and offered us different grappa to taste, that's a real service! The espresso martini was also extremely tasty! Thank you for the friendly and attentive service!
