24/09/2025: I've been there several times and have always had a good experience. The variety of dishes is always excellent. The service is also good, and the family-run restaurant is open during lunch hours on weekdays. Parking is a bit difficult, but there are nearby. The place isn't big, but it's quite cozy.

22/09/2025: A good trattoria! In a Mirano area where practically everything is closed on Mondays, 5 minutes from the main square in the center of Mirano, you can find this trattoria, which I found to be good. I definitely don't have cell phone reception inside, and I didn't find it to be a, shall we say, cheerful place... but for the record... good! Not a huge selection of dishes... but it's worth a try. Good wine selection. 👍👍

04/03/2026: I really liked the food and atmosphere, but the waiter, Kosan, ruined everything by offering me some kind of morel mushroom for dessert. 🍄‍🟫It was disgusting. I'll definitely return to this restaurant to change my impressions.

07/03/2026: Inga and I loved the food - the epitome of simplicity, tradition, and highest quality. Al Mascarron doesn't need additional praise but it's hard to resist and not to say bravo, chef! We had lunch - fish soup and seafood pasta.

01/10/2025: The restaurant is located on the road from the beach. The sign says they also offer gluten-free pizza, which we were looking forward to. We planned to have lunch or dinner here. When we got there, they told us they don't do gluten-free pizza... You can imagine the disappointment and the quick search for an alternative.

20/02/2026: It was almost fun (sorry for our guests who bought us lunch) trying to figure out which mathematical equation you can use to order first courses (which aren't listed on the menu): multiples of one or maybe two divided by the root of pi, half. The fact is, if there are four of you at the table and three of you want to order three different first courses, you can't... Or maybe you can. The second time I tried to figure out the mathematical equation, the annoyed waitress exclaimed, "Maybe I can't explain myself very well." I replied tersely, "YES." The four of us didn't understand. So we ordered two identical appetizers and some mussels, no first course (because it's not allowed), a fried dish, and two grilled fish. Two appetizers arrived, the third didn't, and a first course arrived 10 minutes later... surprise! Since we can, we ordered another. The second appetizer arrives, and after two minutes of the diners eating it, the second main course arrives and they tell us there's a third if we want, but unfortunately, there's none of the main courses. Funny. We order another fried dish instead of the grilled fish, and it's brought exactly two minutes later. So, the appetizer, the first course, and the main course are on the table. Meanwhile, the waitress, like a captain, shouts directions to the crew from one side of the approximately 300-square-meter room to the other... A sort of lunch with a murderer where it turns out you're the murderer... Picturesque! Aside from that, the quality of the fish leaves much to be desired; the mussels and clams had sand in them, and the prawns and scampi tasted like ammonia. Unfortunately, nothing to be saved.

30/01/2026: The food was cold and the portions were small. The waitress was incredibly slow, and the service was generally very slow. The place was very dark and freezing cold. Not recommended.

18/03/2026: Very good, authentic Italian cuisine, friendly service by father and son, the wine was perfectly acceptable and the prices were reasonable. We really enjoyed our copious lunch. There was really nothing to complain about !!

24/02/2026: I ordered spaghetti with clams as per the menu and they served me spaghetti with Atlantic clams. After I pointed this out to her, the waitress (I assume she's the owner) replied that they were clams and that she's from Amalfi, but I'm from Venice and I fish clams and know them well!

14/12/2025: My husband and I got married last September 20th at the Lido Sabbia e Sale, and we couldn't have made a better choice! Andrea, Martina, Giacomo, and everyone else are a huge, wonderful family and made us feel part of them right from the start. They looked after us with care and attention from the start and accommodated our every wish in the best possible way, leaving us completely satisfied! Paola, the chef, was amazing; she prepared a sensational menu for us! Besides being excellent professionals, they are also wonderful people, and for this reason we can wholeheartedly recommend them!

22/01/2026: The waitress, Gaia, deserves a 5-star rating, not just for me but also when watching other tables. She's always smiling and very friendly. The owner is sullen, unsmiling, and unpleasant. Compared to the previous management (Alle Mura), we haven't reached the quality we were used to at this establishment. It's a shame, because the waitress, Gaia, deserves it for her service and friendliness.

10/01/2026: Overall, the food was good, but nothing special. I came here after hearing so much good stuff, and... I don't know what people are used to. The waiters were kind but inexperienced and definitely not well-trained. The place was very dirty, considering we had lunch at 12:30 (tablecloth, cutlery, dust everywhere, and not even the floor). The owner (I think) was kind but certainly not dressed appropriately to serve tables or introduce himself to customers. At least, I've never seen a professional walking around with their shirt untucked, their back hanging out, and their uniforms not very clean, plus socks with holes in them. I was shocked by the situation, even though there was no lack of kindness. It's a shame because the place would have great potential if managed well.

27/02/2026: Had lunch at Alberto's on a foggy day. His dishes were a ray of sunshine. All the ingredients were well-balanced. A good selection of vegetarian dishes and options for those who don't like fish. The desserts were also excellent.
