Personale cordiale e disponibile (avevo avuto un problema che mi ha fatto rischiare di non poter andare a cena, ma mi hanno accolto lo stesso con 40 min di ritardo dalla prenotazione). Noi abbiamo mangiato pesce per cui non posso valutare la carne, ma quello che abbiamo mangiato era molto buono. Il fritto di calamari molto buono, la tagliata di tonno io l’avrei cotta leggermente meno ma comunque era buona. Il vino rosè alla spina non il massimo. Ci siamo trovati tutto sommato bene e il prezzo è stato ragionevole per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Lo consiglio

23/09/2025: The atmosphere is very welcoming and refined. Upon entering, you immediately sense the Sardinian influence, as Chef Pietro is from Sardinia. On the table, delicious carasau bread greeted us, laid out in a charming raffia basket with classic Sardinian decorations.
We ordered fish, which was very flavorful yet delicate.
To finish off, I recommend the myrtle liqueur, which is nothing like the store-bought kind.
We had a great time; if you come to Verona, it's definitely worth a try.
I recommend making a reservation. =)
06/09/2025: Excellent warm seafood salad and linguine with sea urchins. We stumbled upon it by chance, but we'll be back! We also liked the slightly '70s-inspired ambiance.

08/01/2026: Welcoming and friendly staff, very patient if you are practicing your Italian.
Great lunch specials that include a lot for the money.
Parking can be challenging (because it’s so popular) so get there early if you’re coming for lunch.

Simple and straightforward, but also authentic… very good.
Polenta is always served as a side dish. What else is available varies from time to time.

Cicchetti had a delicious tuna menu. The Prosecco was also delicious.

Every day there are different delicious options, truly excellent.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the prices: glasses of wine cost 6 euros each, but the two of us spent over 40 euros for 6/7 cicchetti and two glasses of wine.

11/12/2025: We ordered the seafood risotto and the ham and cheese tortellini. Both dishes were very well prepared and tasty, but the portions were literally ridiculous. For €14 for a portion of risotto, it's incomprehensible that you have to eat the bread basket with olive oil just to avoid going hungry. The bread basket costs €8 and all it contains is half a dozen pieces of bread and some breadsticks.

08/10/2025: We had dinner in this half empty hotel restaurant the first Friday of October 2025. The Gaspacho was tasteless, the spaghetti al dentissimo with the accompanying little shrimps being raw, and the fritto misto di mare severely overfritted with rubberlike consistency of the calamari. Even the espresso did not taste like Italian espresso. The beautiful view from our table over the lagoon explains our second star. What a deception!

Amazing views. The food was excellent. My vegan friend was delighted by her two dishes.

30/11/2025: I had lunch at this very welcoming restaurant, both in terms of the ambiance and the friendliness of the owner and all the staff. The seafood selection is varied and of excellent quality, with the option of sampling two types of oysters, raw scampi, excellent wild salmon, and a very good tuna. The prawns on a bed of castraure were also very tasty, and you could also choose from other appetizers, including boiled meats and creamed cod. For the first course, we opted for an excellent seafood brodetto; the second course selection was extensive and of high quality. The restaurant is quiet and well-insulated. The quality/price ratio is also excellent.
A very pleasant surprise.

The cicchetti were delicious, and the place is truly quaint, located in the center of Portogruaro. As a Neapolitan, I give you a solid 10 out of 10. Thank you for everything.

17/01/2026: A refined and quiet place where you can always find a seat fairly quickly. Service at lunch is also quite fast, both with the daily menu and the workers' menu, as well as the à la carte menu.
You can find a bit of everything from meat and fish to pizza, all of which are of good quality.
The atmosphere is pleasant and the ceilings are very high. It's my first choice when I work at the Ospedale dell'Angelo, as it's within walking distance.

09/12/2025: We came to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. Everything was perfect! Your French-speaking waiter gave us a wonderful welcome. The service was excellent, as was the food, and the atmosphere was everything you could wish for your loved one's birthday. Thanks again for everything, and maybe see you next year, who knows!
