11/06/2025: It is in the center of town not far from the ferries. I ate outside and since it was a weekday there were not many people. The mixed fried fish was good.

Honest prices (for a mixed boiled fish dish, 2 first courses, 1/2 of wine and 2 desserts we spent €60). The environment is that of an 80s Venetian trattoria, some people like it and some don't (I like it).

13/05/2025: The place is presented in a simple but well-kept way to let all its history shine through. For this reason it is suitable for romantic lunches or dinners, family or for groups of friends. The tasting menus are really succulent unless you have Obelix's appetite, and the pairing of the wine glasses for each dish is really spot on. The other dishes on the menu are also really tasty. The quality/price ratio is excellent. Definitely worth returning to.

01/06/2025: We ate well. The staff is kind and nice in their ways. The place is very nice, away from the confusion of the center. Good quality of food. Good quality for the price. I would gladly go back. I recommend the raw seafood, spaghetti with clams, spaghetti with squid ink, and the tiramisu.

08/06/2025: Typical restaurant, excellent cuisine. Honest quality/price ratio. Welcoming staff in accommodating all five of us. Top location too, porticos overlooking the canal

18/05/2025: Sunday lunch. Spaghetti with clams and asparagus arrived raw and without sauce. Asparagus with very bitter Asiago cheese and very stringy. Cuttlefish with peas without infamy or glory. We will definitely not return.

27/05/2025: I went to dinner and I have to make some considerations.. The fish was good and well plated but the portion was decidedly small, the sea bass served with potatoes had a total of 5 very thin potato slices, and there were two very lean fillets... for 17 euros it was truly a robbery... a little more substance would not have been bad. I would add that in the bill I was charged 3 euros for a 0.75 lt bottle of water, considering that it arrived at the table without a cap, and it was obviously tap water at most microfiltered I would say that skimming off these little things is in bad taste. Finally I was alone in the restaurant and at the time I was a guest I was the only guest. I waited 45 minutes for my dish... actually quite a long time, I don't dare to think on a packed evening... let's say I expected better!

27/03/2025: Io miglior ristorante di pesce a Mirano, il top del top. Cibo ottimo, si sente la qualità delle materie prime utilizzate per la preparazione dei piatti. Apprezzato molto ľ entree di benvenuto. Non è la prima volta che andiamo, da ritornarci sicuramente. Posto adatto a famiglie, tranquillo. Adatto anche per varie feste di compleanno.

20/05/2025: A nice, casual place. Their pizza and pasta are delicious. The menu is not in English, which is a problem. We couldn't use the phone to translate Italian because the wires didn't work well inside the city walls. It was a bit of a problem. Avoid pizzas with fish in them. We ordered by mistake when we had trouble with the translation. It wasn't inedible, but we decided it wasn't the right taste for us. Their wines are good.

31/05/2025: The atmosphere is a bit folkloristic, there is no written menu and not even prices indicated. I recommend eating spider crab, marinated prawns (if there are any), creamed cod and mixed fried fish (not greasy at all). The price is a bit high

19/05/2025: There were six of us, our waiter spoke German and was extremely accommodating. We ordered fish starters, first course and second course. The fish starters were disappointing, qualitatively and quantitatively. They were not worth the price. The first and second course, we had mixed grill of fish and a fish omelette were very good. Unfortunately all the guests were kicked out at 10:30 pm and very rudely because the restaurant wanted to close. We should not even drink our drinks anymore. If you know other restaurants on the Lido where the quality/price ratio is right, you should not go to Mauro.
