24/05/2026: I had made a reservation on the way up, saying they'd save a spot for me even though everything was already full.
Sunday lunch while I explored the Po Delta.
I arrived and found my spot outside, as agreed.
Everyone was very friendly.
I chose a first course: spaghetti with clams, which was very good; it was thick and decidedly flavorful.
For the second course, the mixed grilled fish with eel. There were two large shrimp, a little cold but good, the sole was also a little cold, the eel was okay, and a scallop au gratin was the best of the bunch.
In short, it had a certain "pre-prepared" quality, but it was okay.
I'd go back!

02/06/2026: This Po Delta restaurant serves both fish and meat. We ordered only fish, from appetizers to grilled, fried, and boiled meats: everything was well prepared. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Prices were reasonable.

The staff is excellent and everyone is very nice. The dinner was delicious; we'll definitely be back if we're in the area!

04/06/2026: Excellent restaurant 🔝🔝 Extensive menu, with unique dishes expertly prepared and delicious. It's our regular lunch stop on our Sunday excursions to discover these wonderful oases, and we're always happy to stop by. The owner is kind and professional, and even though he's always super busy, he takes the time to chat and tell us the story of his restaurant. The staff is exceptional, with fast and perfect service. What more can I say?

08/05/2026: Rovigo has several high-quality restaurants. Alicanto is certainly one of them, and as a seafood restaurant, I'd easily say it's one of the best, both for quality and creativity. Tonight I had a scallops appetizer with pistachio crackers on a basil and goat cheese cream, and for the main course, orecchiette with cherry tomatoes, tuna, feta, and olives. I also tried the spaghettoni aglio e olio (spaghetti with garlic and oil), with scampi and lemon crumbs, the tagliatelle with prawns, and the fried sardines with onions, pine nuts, and grapes. It was truly a riot of flavors, made with excellent ingredients, expertly prepared. I definitely plan on returning.

02/06/2026: We had an incredible evening at Cappello. The Deliziosa pizza was hands down the best pizza we’ve ever tasted — absolutely perfect. The kids loved their tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, and my wife’s seafood dish was fantastic too. On top of the amazing food, the service was truly professional and welcoming. Without a doubt the best place around. We’ll definitely be back!
01/06/2026: Cappello restaurant, excellent 👌 delicious dishes 😋 the seafood appetizer was phenomenal, the lobster linguine was delicious 🤤, but the tuna steak was top of the top 🔝. Even the mussel stew was delicious 🤤, well done 👏 all the waiters and the owner was also very good.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the quality/price ratio is excellent.
26/05/2026: Pizzeria and restaurant open late. Good meat and burgers, and a variety of pizzas. Limited menu, but always super welcoming.

28/05/2026: I stumbled upon that restaurant by chance, but not necessarily... because I'd heard about it from a colleague of mine. We went to the mussel festival in Santa Giulia on May 23rd, but there was a never-ending line of people... so we decided to opt for a restaurant nearby... obviously, they were all full given the 9:30 PM time.
On the way back to Porto Tolle, we passed Trattoria da Renzo. I stopped and got out with little hope, but instead, surprise, they told me 5 minutes and set the table for her. From then on, it was a wonderful discovery. I savored the flavors of the past: delicious fish, very kind staff, everything really good from appetizer to dessert. We'll definitely be back. If we really want to find a flaw, it's the decor, which certainly not everyone likes... but personally, I found myself reliving some very fond childhood memories with that decor!

25/05/2026: We ordered a seafood platter with onions and some kind of sauce, but in the end we were served two shrimp and a few pieces of fish. The shrimp were not peeled, and the fish was full of bones. Excuse me, but how are people supposed to eat this?
We explained that this was not what was described on the menu, and they told us they would bring shrimp instead. In the end, we paid 15 euros for 3 shrimp that were not even peeled.
Fish should be cleaned before being served to customers! Otherwise, this could end in a fatal accident.
And 15 euros for 3 shrimp — sorry, but that’s just a rip-off.
22/05/2026: We went there for lunch on a Wednesday with friends, what can I say other than that the place is definitely worth a visit for a meal, we really had a great time, congratulations!!
