You will be welcomed by very friendly staff, both in high and low season. The food is very tasty, we ate salad, bruschetta, antipasti and pizza pane, among other things.

Stopped while in the lakeside town of Garda. Big outdoor seating area right on the lake. Easy place for lunch. Nothing fancy or over the top. Prices seemed reasonable for the view and quality of the food. We got the grilled veg plate a pizza and a Marinara salad see photos. Wait staff was attentive but we were here during off season early March. My pizza was tasty. We had two large beers on tap, one bottle of water and one non-alcoholic mocktail, one pizza, salad and grilled veg. In total just under 60 euros.

Delicious antipasti from the sea. So plentiful that we had to cancel the pizza 😓 very beautiful view from the terrace over Lake Garda.

Obwohl wir schon seit mehr als 30 Jahren nach Garda fahren, sind wir in dieses Restaurant noch nie eingekehrt. Diese Woche ergab sich die Gelegenheit, und auch wenn wir nur eine Kleinigkeit (Pizza) essen wollten, so haben wir super lecker gegessen und empfanden den Service in diesem Restaurant als ausgezeichnet und aufmerksam. Ist nun für die Folgebesuche mit abgespeichert, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Auf dem Weg nach Bergamo beschlossen wir, noch in Garda eine Kleinigkeit essen zu gehen und haben mit diesem Restaurant eine sehr gute Wahl getroffen. Der Service zügig und die Pizza lecker. Der Sonnenuntergang am See spiegelte sich in den Aperol Spritz - Gläsern, da konnte auch der kleine Fehler in der Rechnung (der auch gleich sehr bedauert und berichtigt wurde) unsere Laune nicht trüben.

If you want to eat well in Garda, IL Merlo Nero is the perfect place for you. The selection of dishes is very varied, the price/performance ratio is great, as is the extremely friendly staff, who always pamper you again and again. We would love to come back next year.

Essen war sehr gut und auch Location und Platz direkt am See ist top. Es sind viele Mitarbeiter unterwegs, die aber oft keine Augen haben, z B einen leeren Teller mitzunehmen. Trotzdem empfehlenswert🤗
