Great little trattoria. Very funny owner. The cuttlefish pasta with shelled prawns was in a fantastic tomato sauce. Excellent! The spaghetti with prawns and zucchini was also good, maybe add your own pepper. Overall great, especially since it was inexpensive.

We had reservations a month in advance for this place in Venice. When we got there, it was super hectic and chaotic. It was a really busy restaurant, which is usually a good sign. The owner told us we'd have to wait ten minutes, but it ended up being more like fifteen to twenty. There were even people who came in after us without reservations who got seated before us. But after all that initial craziness, once we finally sat down to eat, it was totally worth the wait. Even though it was hectic, the staff was on top of everything, taking our order right away. The food came out quickly in the end, and I wasn't disappointed.

The seafood soup was so full of flavor and memorable! The bread was warm and delicious. The spaghetti and meatballs were just okay. Our waiter was friendly and attentive.

A nice, quiet restaurant, off the beaten path. Upon entering, you'll notice it's frequented by many locals. Good food and friendly staff; they also accept Ticket Restaurant meal vouchers. Recommended.

Osteria Mocenigo is a fantastic find in Santa Croce. It offers an authentic, unpretentious Venetian dining experience away from the tourist crowds.
The food was fresh and high-quality, from the antipasto to the secondo piatto, and the insalatone was excellent. It is also very reasonably priced for the quality and service provided. A warm, welcoming atmosphere and professional staff made for a wonderful dinner. Highly recommended!
