This has become a regular stop every time we pass through Venice. We only return for the tagliatelle with calamari and seasonal vegetables, which are truly excellent. Otherwise, the atmosphere and cuisine are homely, with no pretensions of trying to do more than that, and they honestly admit it. The restaurant has a quiet setting and prompt service.

We found this on our last night.....had it been earlier we would have been back! The food was delicious!! Locals going too is always a good sign. We shared fried calamari, fried sardines and fried vegetables to start, then lasagne, tagliatelle bolognaise, fillet of beef and tagliatelle prawns, zucchini & tomatoes. It was all authentic, fresh, homemade and the best meal we had. The restaurant is unassuming and all indoors but I'm so glad we found it!! Please try it....it was also very reasonably priced.

Incredible flavors and a very authentic atmosphere. The owner was running the show and it really showed in the service—they were extremely attentive to our requests for the kids, which we really appreciated. Delicious food, friendly staff, and a very accommodating environment for families.

This was a super nice meal! The prawn cocktail was delicious especially with the fried zucchini, brilliant combination. Both zucchini and seafood dishes were interesting and a tasty kind of oily, my busara spaghetti was so yummy, the tomatoes and prawns tasted lovely together. The cheese plate was a selection of three cheese (not sure which ones LOL) but with bread and honey they were honestly super tasty especially the brie (I assume) was delicious with the honey! Although our main food took some time to arrive the service was still attentive and our bread was always refilled immediately. The portions were also pretty large.

What a restaurant. Beautiful. All around. Warm bread- cut fresh. Atmospheric. Mainly locals, exactly what I walked 30-40 min for, recommended by a local. They have set menu if you fancy quick lunch (pasta+potatoes+wine+coffee) for a reasonable price. Check if they do all day though. I went for lunch. It was one of the best ever seafood spaghettis I've ever had. Top 3 for sure. (Comparable if not better than that of Rome) It was so fresh and so good I ordered cuttlefish dish too. Also spot on. Definitely coming back if I ever come back to Venice. I hope this place remains as is and not get hyped up by some random influencers

08/04/2026: I went there for Sunday lunch. The food was truly excellent, with typical Venetian appetizers and first courses, along with excellent wine. The service was excellent, with a very friendly waiter who, with his jokes, further enlivened our lunch. The only downside was the open restaurant door, which allowed a slight breeze to blow in, making it annoying for the customers seated in the dining room. The wait was also a bit long, but overall, everything else was excellent. I highly recommend it for anyone planning a day in Venice!
