Would you like to travel back in time and experience the thrill of being served like a prince or princess by a butler and a cook from the last century? I had an unforgettable experience at Mulino al Pizzon. I was greeted upon arrival by the owner, who had me park in the spaces reserved for guests with reservations. In the restaurant, I was greeted by the waiters. Promptly and kindly, they explained to me the specialties of the cuisine, using local organic products. I enjoyed the typical wine from the surrounding countryside, whole-wheat bread made with ancient grains, including the rare S. Pastore 14 wheat. An appetizer of two-tone corn polenta with a cheese fondue. The lasagna with vegetables and organic meat were delicacies you simply must try. For the second course, I enjoyed braised Sorana pork with Teroldogo Rotaliano red wine. The side dishes were the height of variety and enjoyment for the lunch. The homemade desserts enhanced the sweetness of the food and the chef's skill. A tour of the machinery of the ancient water mill 💧 and its history immersed us in an experience where mind, heart, and body found the joy of hospitality and the culture of times gone by, a culture that has become so rare today. Seeing is believing!

08/10/2025: Good morning, I just left this restaurant with my husband. We ordered a plate of cold cuts and cheeses, and a small bowl of mustard. We also ordered baked lasagna (but we had a 10-minute wait). The cold cuts plate included: 1 slice of pancetta 1.5 slices of speck 1 slice of cooked ham (orange) 1.5 slices of sopressa 1.5 slices of cheese (we couldn't tell what it was) 2 slices of Emmental 1 slice of brie In the middle, a spoonful of giardiniera All sliced ​​extremely thinly. The lasagna should have been piping hot, but since it was still in the oven, it was barely warm. We drank a bottle of sparkling water; this was our lunch for the modest sum of €43.50. That plate of cold cuts alone (which they called "piatto freddo") cost €15.00, plus €2.50 for the mustard (4 apple slices). I'm sorry I can't attach a photo of the receipt. Now tell me if this isn't theft, taking advantage of people like this?

27/04/2025: Per un’esperienza “totalizzante” su piatti di pesce, questo è “the place to be”, il posto dove andare. La qualità del cibo, l’attenzione con la quale verrete serviti e l’ambiente raffinato sono gli elementi che mi hanno colpito fin dalla mia prima visita. La varietà del menù accontenterà tutti gli amanti del pesce, dal crudo al cotto per concludere con dolci speciali e fatti al momento (come il tiramisù).

Ogni dettaglio, dalla cena di prova al grande giorno, è stato curato con attenzione e passione. Lo staff è stato incredibilmente disponibile, attento ad ogni nostra esigenza e sempre pronto a proporre idee originali che hanno reso l’evento davvero unico. Il clima era accogliente e cordiale, un perfetto equilibrio tra familiarità e grande competenza. Abbiamo scelto insieme il menù, lo abbiamo provato in anticipo e ne siamo rimasti entusiasti: ogni portata era una piccola opera d’arte, deliziosa e particolare. Un grande punto di forza è stata la sensibilità verso le esigenze alimentari degli ospiti — tra celiaci, vegetariani, intolleranze e allergie, tutti hanno ricevuto piatti dedicati, senza rinunciare alla qualità e alla creatività. Tra i momenti più divertenti, la composizione della torta fatta da noi sposi: un’idea bellissima che ha coinvolto gli invitati e regalato risate e partecipazione. A mezzanotte, i mitici panini "onti": un successo clamoroso! E il rito della sabbia, proposto dallo staff, è stato un momento simbolico e commovente che porteremo sempre con noi. The fish pie is unbeatable, especially the prices are worthy of the dishes. The location and ambiance are among the most beautiful on the Venice Lido, all nestled in the stunning Malamocco setting. Special, but the options leave much to be desired. ONLY FISH, but what fish!
