15/05/2026: Despite a terrace with a lovely view of a calm canal and gondolas, the portions are disappointing for the price; expect a €4 cover charge and a 12% service charge. The spaghetti vongole were good, as were the tagliatelle with ragù, but the portion was child's size for over €20. The tiramisu was nothing special and had been prepared in advance in small bowls in the fridge. The waiters, however, were very helpful.

10/05/2026: Rudeness as an appetizer, pasta with sandy clams covered in oil as a first course, raw liver as a second course (they say they make it "pink" but it was literally raw, I didn't think I'd ordered tartare, inedible), unfairly high bill. If you don't want to be a waiter, your doctor won't prescribe it. Furthermore, after all this rudeness, they even had the nerve to ask for a tip.

09/05/2026: A large restaurant with plenty of seating, spread across two floors and an outdoor area.
Plenty of seating, but... it's a shame that the quality of the food and service suffers, which, combined with the owners' poor interpersonal skills, makes this place more mediocre than it really is and could be. The experience improves significantly when the daughter is at the cash register, who knows how to interact with customers with kindness and a smile.

03/05/2026: We went for dinner, ate a first course and two second courses. Prices were in line with the market. The portions were generous. The quality could be improved; the first course (bigoli with white ragù) was good, while the braised beef in Amarone sauce was decent. The service was a bit disorganized; they brought our dishes before the drinks, and then brought them to us incorrectly twice. The atmosphere was quiet and informal.

03/03/2026: Parlo served us and we had lovely meal beside the canal with the canal view. It had a lovely romantic and homely feel to the place and all the staff were lovely. The food was very nice and good potion sizes for a reasonable price.

27/03/2026: We discovered it almost by chance, but found it good in some respects, less so in others. Its strong points are the cheese/deli/delicatessen counter with a good selection of products. Another highlight is the pasta, with good brands. The wine shop also has a wide selection, divided by region.
The fishmonger's and fruit and vegetable counters are a bit less so.
It also features a bar where you can relax before and after shopping, and convenient indoor and outdoor parking.

08/05/2026: I've been frequenting Locanda al Piave for at least 35 years, and I must say that every time I return, I always have a great time and even try a few new dishes. What can I say, everything is delicious: appetizers, first courses, second courses, and excellent service. The prices are a bit steep, but in line with the numerous courses and other seafood restaurants. Always excellent.
04/01/2026: The quality of the fish is good, but the price is decidedly high. We made the mistake of not requesting the menu, and the restaurant made the mistake of not providing one, limiting itself to verbally announcing the dishes. Service was very slow; almost three hours for seven appetizers seems a bit excessive. Finally, the receipt lists a single €225 item (for three people) for appetizers, without any details on the cost of individual dishes, which doesn't appear particularly professional. We recommend greater transparency in communication and pricing.
