13/05/2025: In the heart of Follonica, a stone's throw from the main street of Via Roma, this fish restaurant presents itself in a simple way, with the classic checked tablecloths that already make the type of experience clear: no frills, but a familiar and homely atmosphere. You can choose whether to eat inside or in the external iron marquee: a useful option, even if a little too chaotic due to the limited space. The service is in perfect trattoria style: easy-going waiters, friendly and kind, who make you feel at ease immediately. The food is good, with just the right portions and well-cooked fresh fish. However, there were no memorable dishes, the kind that make you say "let's go back soon", but everything was pleasant and honest. Excellent for a dinner with friends or in a group as long as you book, since it fills up quickly. The bill? In line with the area, although some prices seemed a bit exaggerated: for example, €8 for 5 artichokes as a side dish of the day seemed excessive. Service and cover charge €2. A plus: the place is easily accessible even for people with mobility difficulties. In conclusion: a place we recommend for those looking for a simple but genuine fish-based meal, without expecting the wow effect. We liked it, and that's enough.

Leave the room to put your feet in the already warm sand of a spring morning: rich and varied breakfast buffet with local products in addition to the gluten free line (the chef's express cakes are delicious!). The surrounding lush pine forest offers that sense of peace that cannot be replicated elsewhere. Staying at the La Bussola hotel allows you to break away from the monotony of the city and find true relaxation. Kindness and courtesy in step with the times! To be repeated over and over again.

12/04/2025: Buonasera, sono stata a mangiare in questo ristorante con un’amica. Abbiamo trovato la location calda e accogliente, personale cordiale e simpatico…nulla da reclamare. Cibo ottimo: abbiamo ordinato un antipasto per due che offriva diverse specialità di mare e a seguire un primo di scampi veramente ottimo. La scelta dei dolci non di nostro gradimento ma questa è solo un’opinione personale!!!! Il prezzo abbordabile… Consiglio questo locale a tutti.

24/05/2025: We were passing through and, being in a seaside location, we stopped with the hope of enjoying some good fish. Unfortunately the experience was disappointing: low quality of food, exaggerated prices and a rushed service. Too bad, because the location could have offered much more.

23/05/2025: A good classic restaurant, without any research or particularity but with excellent cuisine. The waiter remembers everything without writing or using a PDA and is always there whenever you need him. Highly recommended

Simple and intimate location, perfect for a quiet dinner, even outdoors. Impeccable service, trained and professional staff. A special applause to Bruno, the experienced room manager: it is rare to still find figures like this. Highly recommended!

11/05/2025: La posizione è molto bella, vista sulla baia molto carina...il pesce è di ottima qualità, porzioni abbondanti e personale gentilissimo...il prezzo è più che giusto quindi consiglio assolutamente...da lì potete poi fare una bella passeggiata verso il centro...

05/05/2025: Posto molto centrale che permette anche di fare una bella passeggiata prima o dopo la cena. Servizio eccellente, sempre molto attento alle nostre esigenze (2 bambine 5 e 1 anno). Consigliatissima la frittura di calamari.

07/12/2024: Posto carino, rimasto all'identità iniziale! Il che, se apparentemente può sembrare una pecca, in realtà è la forza. Di non essere uguale agli altri, di non omologarsi... Cibo ad arte, tutto buonissimo. Un po' come se si andasse a pranzo dalla nonna. Per chi cerca sostanza e non forma, lo consiglio!!

21/04/2025: we went to the restaurant bar. We had a beer. We paid cash with 7 euros and the boy gave us one euro in change and didn't give us a receipt. Then we had two more beers and the guy then asked us to pay for 3 beers because he didn't remember that we had already paid for the first one. We told him we had already paid. After 5 minutes he came back and asked us to pay again. We repeated that we had already paid but not having given us a receipt we couldn't prove it. He went away and then looked at us and muttered "c.... or look" with a threatening expression, as if he wanted to get into a fight. Something I've never seen from a bartender If he has no memory at least print the receipts. bad experience for 3 beers of 33 paid 18 euros.
