15/06/2024: Raw fish. Sea bass, scampi and prawns. Marinated anchovies really fantastic. Followed by octopus, linguine with cuttlefish ink, grilled sea bass... really good. Chef, host, waiters. Congratulations 💪

31/08/2024: Con mia moglie e nostro figlio in una caldissima serata d'Agosto abbiamo prenotato questo ristorante. Location attraente con vista sul porto...peccato che in serate come questa alcuni tavoli fra cui il nostro siano messi proprio a ridosso della strada abbastanza trafficata (avevamo chiesto di sederci ad un tavolo in migliore posizione ma la richiesta è stata rifiutata nonostante il tavolo sia restato libero per tutta la sera). Molto buoni i primi, le cozze, e buona la frittura...peccato che i piatti ci siano arrivati in tempi diversi al tavolo. Camerieri gentili, prezzi nella media. Probabilmente da riprovare in tempi meno affollati.

28/08/2024: Location molto bella, affaccia sul porto di Santo Stefano. Personale abbastanza gentile anche se un po’ lenti. Noi in 3 abbiamo preso 1 gnocco mare e terra, 1 spaghetto alle vongole, 1 gnocco al ragù, 1 frittura, 2 bottiglie d’acqua e abbiamo speso 74€.

30/08/2024: Truly a restaurant worthy of the name, where orders are still taken in mind and without making a single mistake! Very fast service, food with good quality raw materials, very nice garden.

31/08/2024: Good but not as excellent as the price would require. Spaghetti alla corsara with sardines and pistachio pesto, they were good but you couldn't taste the sardines and it was practically a pistachio cream. The crab pici had just glimpsed the crab.

29/08/2024: Locale con ampia veranda esterna, peccato non tiri un filo d’aria quindi di soffre il caldo come in una sauna. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile ad accontentare i clienti. Mi ha deluso la zuppa di pesce, porzione scarsissima, senza nemmeno cozze e vongole. Almeno, al momento dell’ordine mi erano state indicate tra gli ingredienti, ma poi non c erano nel piatto e mi hanno detto che avevo capito male io. Prezzo secondo me un pelino alto in rapporto alla qualità e quantità offerta.

01/10/2023: Super tasty, authentic food, great service. We were here in the low season, so the terrace was unfortunately already "closed", which is certainly fantastic in summer with the view. The interior can still do something with the ambience (for example, more comfortable lighting), but this was more than made up for by the great, personable service.

24/08/2024: Fish menu prepared well in a simple way, staff and environment very informal but welcoming. Low bill for a three-course fish dinner. Don't expect a Michelin star but if you're looking for a place to eat well and spend a fair amount, you've found it!

26/08/2024: Good food but not exceptional zero service we booked for 9pm and we arrived 3pm early they told us we have to wait because we were early it seems that to eat there you are in the offices which you have to clock in anyway bad experience

Il locale è bello e arioso...con un bel giardino La cucina sublime, tutti i piatti assaggiati sono risultati ottimi e belli alla vista (complimenti veramente allo Chef), buona scelta di vini. Nonostante il locale sempre pieno i tempi di attesa sono stati ragionevoli, il servizio eccellente. Tutti la manager le ragazze e il ragazzo di sala... Tutti professionali e preparati. Prezzi sotto la media Consigliatissimo

24/07/2024: Locale semplice e senza fronzoli che mi pare puntare tutto sulla sostanza. Servizio rapido, pizza ottima e cucina di livello. Il pesce è sicuramente il punto forte e lo raccomando.

21/07/2024: Unsere Pizzen waren sehr fein. Tiramisu ebenso, besonders geschmeckt hat die crema catalana: flambiert serviert..!

18/08/2024: Normal premises, unkept reserved parking. Sea view, table on the beach, fast service even if the waiters didn't know the ingredients of the dishes. Pets allowed but not so welcome. Good dishes and well presented.

17/08/2024: Really a shame. We have come to this restaurant several times, always with positive feedback and the desire to return. The quality of the food, the wine cellar and the location are really good. The staff were also courteous and professional. However, it is not acceptable to seat customers with the temperatures of this period in an area adjacent to the kitchen and the refrigerator motors without even an air fan. We ate quickly just to finish quickly and leave as soon as possible due to the heat. For next time it's better to say "sorry, we don't have room" Really a shame.

27/08/2024: Abbiamo trascorso una settimana a Castiglione e questo é stato il ristorante dell'ultima sera. Superlativo!!!! In un posto di mare saper cucinare il pesce e soprattutto servirlo fresco, viene dato per scontato e in questo ristorante la materia prima é garantita. Vi allego foto che confermano quanto detto 😜

24/08/2024: Abbiamo deciso di andare alla Casa Rossa dopo aver letto molte recensioni positive. Arrivati sul posto abbiamo trovato un locale alquanto mediocre come locazione, allestimento e arredo e abbiamo pensato che la sua fama fosse dovuta ad una cucina schietta ma gustosa, insomma da " trattoria di un tempo" in coerenza con l'aspetto del ristorante. La signora che ci ha accolto è stata molto gentile e cordiale,ma il ragazzo che ci ha poi servito probabilmente era in serata storta. I primi piatti sono effettivamente buoni, in particolare i pici alla salicornia con lupini (...non vongole). Abbiamo poi ordinato delle impepate di cozze. Grave errore! Non so come abbiano fatto, ma le Cozze erano prive di qualunque sapore. Ho avuto la sensazione che siano state bollite in acqua e poi impiattate con una minuscola fetta di limone e,a dispetto del nome, non vi era traccia di pepe. Senza infamia e senza lode la tartare di salmone con avogado. La qualità dei piatti non giustifica i prezzi specie in considerazione del tenore alquanto insignifante del ristorante. Insomma la valutazione complessiva non supera la mediocrità.

They were super helpful and very attentive to allergy management: by booking the night before it was possible to agree on what to eat so that they could prepare in advance in a clean kitchen avoiding any type of contamination. Satisfied we will definitely return! I went to this restaurant yesterday with a friend, and with us we also brought a foreign family we met on a camping trip. We chose this place because we have been frequenting it for years and it has always been satisfactory in terms of product quality and attention to allergy sufferers. Unfortunately yesterday we noted, with great regret, that the restaurant no longer guarantees the safety of allergy sufferers, so much so that at the checkout, despite the apologies made, they did not take responsibility for any serious problems due to contamination, offering an alternative 'salad. In disbelief, we didn't want to leave the place so as not to embarrass our guests who were already seated. The allergic person had to give up dinner. An unexpected disappointment, since the place wasn't even as full as we found it other times over the weekend.

06/08/2024: What can I say.... you go get the food in the kitchen 😊😊😊 And honestly I also had a lot of fun. You sit down and look at the menu on a pre-printed sheet of paper. You write down what you want to eat. You go to the house and you pay.. they give you a little device that lights up and based on what you order you go without the device to the bar or pizza or kitchen. The perfect preparation times We had 3 starters 1 pizza 3 Excellent foods Super fried potatoes Like mussels and spaghetti with clams A great experience to enter the kitchen and see the great work behind it.
