06/11/2025: Everything was good, but the prices were a little high. I was disappointed with the fried food... (as you can see in the attached video) €14 for a really small portion, a shame. Otherwise, the service was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

04/11/2025: Great place with the most delicious sandwiches we've ever tasted 😋 I recommend the sandwich with octopus and tuna tataki. On the afternoon, there was a queue and the orders went slow, but the waiting was absolutely worthy.

21/09/2025: Terrible food, we paid for a set menu that included dry, tasteless, and tough baked pasta that I was afraid would break a tooth. Then they served two slices of roast beef, also dry, which I honestly don't know if they turned out that way from reheating them. A small piece of chicken and a small piece of pork chop, both raw inside. Oh, and yes, the menu listed non-existent potatoes. The waiters were kind, but I think the chef is also the owner, who was very rude. We paid a fixed price and forgot about the potatoes. He wanted to offer me coffee, but so I don't have coffee. I asked for a small piece of dessert and was told that I'll give you a €7 dessert? And he threw €10 at me on the table, which I threw back at him. Then, to top it all off, when we left, I assume the cashier had a questionable attitude, even calling us rude. I won't set foot in there again and I don't recommend it.

19/09/2025: Roses is always a guarantee! The kindness of the staff, the excellent dishes, and the beautifully maintained setting surrounded by greenery make Roses a guarantee!

22/10/2025: Three of us visited the restaurant: two adults and a 4-year-old. We ordered three pizzas, a liter of house wine, and a coffee. The bill came to €57, even though we'd been told coffee would be free due to the long wait. We did a quick calculation: Margherita €8, Diavola €11, Quattro Formaggi €14, a liter of wine €14, and three covers at €2.50 each. The total was €54.50. I don't know how much coffee costs there, maybe €2.50. If so, it makes sense. So why say coffee is free and then include it in the bill anyway, if we didn't even ask for a discount? Otherwise, the place isn't bad: the decor, the service, and the pizza are good. But it left a bitter taste in our mouths...

16/10/2025: Beautiful place, nice wine selection. 5 stars for the fried calamari and grilled octopus, very good, but 2 stars for the seafood padellata, really not great, lacking freshness, overcooked and overpriced.

13/11/2025: Truly authentic cuisine! There were four of us, and every dish, from the antipasto to the primi, secondi, and dessert, was excellent, even if the desserts weren't homemade. The wine list was also very good. A lovely atmosphere with local people and a warm welcome! Go there and treat yourself. Thank you for introducing us to and sharing local cuisine!

04/10/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant yesterday by chance. The wait staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, even promptly responding to our request to move and light the fire pit to keep our two-month-old baby warm. The food was excellent, the wait time was normal for freshly prepared dishes, and the wine was also worth it. They accept dogs and were kind enough to provide a bowl of water if needed. I really liked that the chef (and I assume the owner) walked around the tables to make sure everything was okay, but without being intrusive. I highly recommend it and thank them for the wonderful evening we spent there.

23/11/2025: The place is nice. Even though it was packed, they seated us almost immediately, and the service was efficient. We ordered almost immediately and didn't have to wait long for our food. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and pleasant. They paid attention to their customers. There were two of us. The presentation of the dishes wasn't great, but we liked what we had. We didn't like the desserts, though. For what we paid, you might expect something homemade. The only downside is the prices. They're definitely too high.

21/10/2025: We were a little apprehensive because the restaurant had a 3.8-star rating. However, it was the most popular restaurant, and that's why we went. The service was amazing, very dog-friendly. The food was delicious, and the portion price was great. The truffle pizza was particularly noteworthy. All in all, a fantastic evening!

10/09/2025: It's very conveniently located if you're staying at Roccamare. The food was good and the prices were reasonable.

21/10/2025: The food was questionable, the price was too high. Furthermore, in a public place, you shouldn't allow your friends to smoke while other diners are eating. A lack of politeness and respect. The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced it was a terrible experience.

16/10/2025: A guarantee; my husband and I now eat there often when we come to Castiglione (both for couples' dinners and with family and friends) and I have to say that the quality/price ratio is good, the fish is excellent (you can taste it's fresh), and the wine list is good; the menu is simple but well-crafted, and that's no small thing, sometimes the simple things are the most difficult! We'll definitely be back and I highly recommend it.

13/09/2025: We happened upon Porto Ercole by chance and had lunch at Gambero Rosso. Nice place with a sea view. Two first courses and two desserts with half a liter of wine. €90, too expensive in my opinion.
