06/09/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant. The atmosphere was simple and welcoming. The selection wasn't extensive, but the dishes were excellent and high-quality. The anchovies in salsa verde as an appetizer were very good and fresh. We had three first courses, all carefully prepared and flavorful; the tagliolini with sea bass were especially fabulous. The fried fish was also excellent, both with and without mixed seafood; it was dry and not at all heavy. My only complaint is that perhaps I would have added a little more mixed seafood.
Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the Portuguese milk pudding (though we'd seen it at other customers and it looked lovely), so we opted for the homemade tart with custard and strawberries, and I must say it was another pleasant surprise.
The owners were friendly and kind. The price was average, but the quality and flavors are worth it.
A pleasant surprise! We'll definitely be back.

02/04/2026: Always stop by when we are in Castiglione della Pescaia. Fantastic burgers we’ve not seen somewhere else before (with tuna, calamari, etc). Also have nice food for the kids like pizza pane with Nutella.

The black spaghetti was an explosion of flavor. The fried seafood, on the other hand, was rather average, 3 stars.
21/09/2025: A lovely place on the Giglio harbor. Unfortunately, the risotto was drained and mixed with the seafood, as was the spaghetti with clams, which were loose and tasteless.
A raw meagre arrived, completely covered in tomato pieces. We notified the waiter, and to be honest, it wasn't included in the final bill.
The ingredients were excellent, but in my opinion, the chef was lacking.

23/11/2025: The food was very poor and hard to digest. There was no menu and therefore no prices. The owner recommended the famous Tris appetizer, which surprised us at €44 for two, and €22 each for the three-piece appetizer. We felt cheated. I strongly recommend providing pricing information to customers to avoid disappointment. The service was good, the waitress was attentive, and the atmosphere was quiet and welcoming, but too expensive for what you get.

20/02/2026: I didn't like it because I ordered a plate of rigatoni with tomato sauce 🍅 that cost €6 and instead I was charged for a plate of abundant spaghetti with tomato sauce 🍅 for an amount of €10 that I didn't ask for and didn't eat, because they brought me the rigatoni, wine 🍷, Morellino, but I would have settled for the house wine that wasn't offered to me, however I was given a discount of €1.50 which feels like a real joke. Moral of the story, €30 (but it was €31.50) for a pasta with tomato sauce, a grilled chicken breast with chips, no coffee, frankly it seems a bit "too much". I didn't protest because I didn't feel like arguing, but taking advantage of a worker looking for refreshment after a hard day's work is truly sad 💔.
I don't normally post negative reviews unless I'm satisfied, but I felt really cheated, and it's a shame because I would have gladly returned to try a pizza 🍕.

01/02/2026: Yesterday, three of us went to this restaurant for lunch because we'd heard good things about it. We ordered two tagliolini cacio e pepe with shrimp tartare, one tagliolini allo scoglio, and a fried dish. You know when you drain the pasta and leave a little water in because you're supposed to stir it in? It was like this, with a little oil, maybe a teaspoon of pecorino, and pepper? Well, basically, pasta drained badly, with oil, and overcooked to boot! The worst pasta we've ever eaten! Oh yeah, but there was a teaspoon of shrimp tartare! The fried dish wasn't bad, but nothing special. There were two shrimp, I swear two, and the rest were just calamari. The service wasn't even a smile—fast, yes, but zero courtesy! As far as we're concerned, NEVER AGAIN!
04/01/2026: ...over the years, the quality and professionalism have never changed, qualities that have always distinguished you. Even today I ate very well, but I had no doubts... congratulations!

21/09/2025: At Carmen Bay, I'd had a lunchtime snack of fried seafood and a glass of white wine after swimming. I decided to come in the evening for dinner by the sea. The setting is more atmospheric during the day, although at night it's lovely to hear the sound of the sea while dining. The seafood is good; I had the marinated anchovies and spaghetti with clams, paired with a nice white wine. The fried foods are generally good, although sometimes you can tell the oil could use a change. The service is friendly but a bit rushed. It's worth it for the setting and the sea view, which is also reflected in the bill: €20 for a plate of spaghetti with clams.
